I very rarely complain about my experiences at fast food places, but this was just ridiculous. I've been visiting this location for nearly 3 years and last night was the first time they actually got the order right. Unfortunately, I only got half of a box of fries. It was 3am and after waiting for 15 minutes(only 2 cars ahead of me), I finally got my fries. Drove home and opened the bag to see that it was barely filled. Absolutely horrible service and wait time EVERY SINGLE TIME I've bought food here. Just go to Abelinos or Huichos if you're in the mood for Mexican food. This location usually has good quality of food but the last few months it is not the same. If the guy manager-I'm assuming store manager-or the shorter Mexican lady-I would guess store manager or assistant everything is great, no food missing from order,nothing burnt,fries full. 3/25/15 - 12:55 am I arrived at this Del Taco with a fractured collar bone. It takes me extra effort to get in and out if my truck. I was hoping to get some late dinner, so I park my truck and decided to go inside the restaurant. As I got out of my truck to head towards the door there was an employee at the service entrance in the back. He was a young but tall and heavy Hispanic man. I believe he was crushing boxes. I got out of my truck to head towards the restaurant only to realize the lobby was closed after midnight. So I went back to the rear entrance where I parked and I asked the person if he was an employee of Del Taco. He confirmed that he was an employee. At this point I was wondering why he didn't inform me that the restaurant was closed so I asked him. He said he thought I was going to the front. I told him the front door was locked. Then I asked him why would you let me walk all the way up to the front when you already know the restaurant was closed. He just chuckled as I got back in my truck. I work in the service industry. I tried to provide my customers with information that is useful. In this case your employee was not providing useful information to me, the customer. I hope customer service is not a lower ranking priority at this business, but just for that one employee. My order was delivered through the window, like the drive thru should do. The price was standard. With that being said, this place gets the average, 3 stars. Your unhelpful employee took another star off and that's how this place ended up with two stars. read more

Went there last night and here's basically the conversation the staff was having: "HAHahAhHAhA WhiTe ZBoiZ bE alL LikE -insert explicit- And Dizz B1Ch Dt UZs 2 Be Workz Hur - more explicit-" and this went on between the employees the entire time I sat there eating. I'm used to bad language, in fact as a former infantryman and wild land fire fighter I use it frequently. However, listening to the disregard for situational awareness by the entire staff for who was in the place, the racially charged language and how brazen they were about it I started questioning how much they valued their job....which made me question several things like "Well, if they don't care who hears them swearing and using racially charged language, do they care enough to wash their hands? Do they even clean the utensils correctly? Wait, if they're talking about white people like this do they SPIT in white customers food?" Absolutely disgusting. The entire staff should be fired and manager replaced. I shouldn't eat degenerate fast food anyway. This was a solidifying factor. I'll be contacting Del Taco directly about this. If you're white, no joke I'd think twice about eating here. read more

We travel full time so we eat at fast food restaurants very often, and I can't remember ever receiving such great service as we did today. We have eaten at Del Taco before, but never this particular location. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the cashier and manager. We ordered our food. The manager gave both of my kids a sticker set and we sat down. Our food came out quickly and was hot and fresh. My husband spilled some tamale sauce on his jacket, and the manager happened to see it. He got a cloth and helped my husband clean his jacket. When we left, he was outside cleaning up the parking lot! We were pleasantly surprised to have received this kind of service from a fast food restaurant! We will definitely be returning! read more

I stopped here after a late shift to grab a burrito and initially appreciated that they were open at 3am. I've had del taco plenty of times so figured it would hit the spot. I was wrong. If you're going to stay open all night you still need to cook fresh food. The rice was so over cooked it crunched. The beef was burned. There was no sauce on the burrito and it wasn't even wrapped so when I took it out of the bag it almost fell apart completely. As I payed for the food with my bank card, I noticed this older lady who was assisting me did not have on gloves. She had long dirty manicured polished nails. Also, she had on a wig without a hairnet. As I watched from the window in my car in the drive through, I noticed another male worker in the same area eating out of a nacho box. Neither had on a mask. I love their iced tea and it's never fresh and when I ask if it is, they always say, yes it was made this morning... but it could be late at night and it NEVER tastes good then. This Del Taco only cares about the time customers are in the drive through. They do not care about the quality of their food or service. They practicality throw your food and drinks at you. We ate here on a Friday night aound 8pm. The place was dead and still the lobby was filthy. We don't have many Del Tacos in N. Cali where I live, so I try to visit when I am in the LA area. My order was actually finished in an impressive time manner considering I went around lunch time. Craig made my experience awesome! I recently had the displeasure of spending my time and money at this "establishment". To start off, when I came inside I was immediately struck by the rudest customers I have ever encountered! They made me feel very uncomfortable. Then, the cashiers took a total of two minutes to even acknowledge me, despite having no line in the drive through and me clearly being next in line. When I ordered, I was not given any receipt at all! I cannot get a refund now. My total price came out to something ridiculously expensive even though the prices on the menu stated otherwise. I even calculated what I ordered and the prices and they charged four extra dollars! Even though I did not order much, my order came ten minutes later minutes later despite there being no longer anyone at the store! I received my ice drink filled to the brim with ice with barely a sip worth of drink inside! (Would you like some drink with your ice.) A burrito I ordered was disgustingly wet, falling apart, and slimey! The vegetables were wilted and clearly ancient and inorganic. Not to mention how stale it was. It was clearly rushed. The cooks were clearly clueless and had no idea what they were doing. They were disturbingly rude. I could see from a mile away how dirty and sticky the kitchen was. The cooks gave me an attitude while I was waiting on my order, judging me. I have lost my appetite from the bad food and this experience. Ok, so I have been coming here for over 6 months now. I have enjoyed it, but the crappy customer service that I was given by an employee named EDDIE has turned me away. I usually order a couple of items, do the survey, then come back and redeem the code for a free burrito.
