Crunchtada had more cheese than other Del Tacos. The Del Taco also had a good amount of cheese. I like cheese. No, I love cheese. lol Guy at the drive thru was very nice. I asked him if he has been to the original Del Taco, he said in Barstow, I said yes. He agreed it is AWESOME. The one in Lenwood uses the same meat company and it is the same as Barstow, better than all the rest. They are privately owned. Have a blessed day. Ambience, I used drive thru but there are people sitting inside and I was pretty impressed because it's in downtown Redlands and it is full of nice restaurants. But sometimes people just want fast food. read more

This Del Taco is hit and miss. But these Del tacos (the actual regular taco from the menu) are getting ridiculous. See photo. This is not a snack taco, this is a del taco. So thinly filled. It looks silly. Is Del Taco proud of this product? Remember when these were classic tacos and were actually regular sized? "Double the meat and double the cheese!" Then they were "del tacos" and they maintained the size but doubled the price. Now the price keeps going up but the taco is shrinking and shrinking. Major shrink-flation here. Your customers aren't dumb, Del Taco. Give us a hearty taco, or at least normal sized for our money. All this laughing at your tiny taco is working up a major appetite. read more

Del Taco - No, it's not a snack taco. It's a full sized "Del taco". - Mexican Near Me - Redlands, California

I recently had a trying experience here. For dining in you must order at a kiosk that is always trying to upsell customers to buy something extra. And I had to pay 70 cents extra for sour cream. Green Sauce also cost an extra 35 cents. But at least it was an excellent addition. It seems a weird system to have to wait at the check stand with other customers several minutes for your order to come after navigating one of two non-user-friendly kiosks. Three women were working just behind the counter at a frenetic pace to fulfill both kiosk and drive thru orders. At least our order was correct, and the food tasted good after it arrived. read more

It was $2 get over it you snob the grilled chicken taco here is clutch and I haven't tried anything else but don't really need to. It's a yummy option and I was happy. This location constantly underfills their burritos and / or gives VERY small amounts of meat. You can almost enclose your fingers around the burrito, that's how empty they are. Also, you will only receive a little bit of meat in your food as shown in other posts. read more

Friday March 27th 2026 7:30pm The idiot working the drive thru (hispanic guy arm tattoos), kept messing up my order on the speaker, didnt put my combo burrito in the bag, didnt give me del scorcho hot sauce right after he asked. Discovered when I got home 10 min away. He acted like I was a burden to him. God this place has gone downhill. Never again, ill drive farther to another location. Ive been coming here for over 30 years read more

Lobby closed due to lack of staff! Crappy service .... Going somewhere else. It's 5:00pm on a Saturday and they can't operate.

I've been buying Breakfast burritos for the nursing staff... I buy at least 10 burritos at a time when I drive thru.... It's a treat for the nurses and it's easy for me.....they absolutely deserve to be treated kindly... they work hard every day taking care of our loved ones.... Thank you Del Taco for helping to Thank the nursing staff! read more

First and most important the sauce is on the counter for you to take what you want like it should be!!! Other Del Taco's take the hint free the sauce. Make it on the tables or counter like it should be. This place has the right idea other Del Taco's hide the sauce like it comes out of their personal paycheck. That is not the way, I'm tired of going to the other ones ordering three tacos and getting one sauce. Please Del Taco corporate follow the path of this store and make the sauce packets free to the customers again it's the right thing to do in these tough economic times. Other than that the food was the same service was a bit slow it was busy but still slower than it needed to be. Main message from this review keep the sauce available for customers I don't like asking. read more

6 cars ahead of me in line when I started. It's been 20 minutes and I still have 2 cars to go. No one's using the lobby yet the drive-thru just doesn't move. Cars are honking and I'll have to assume that staffing is ultra-light on a taco Tuesday. 25 minutes from ordering to the window. The food was wrong so I offered to pull forward so that I wouldn't delay other guests while waiting for a corrected order. Snack Tacos - they defaulted to flour soft tortillas and wrapped them as chicken tacos. The default for the last 40 years of my life was always hard shell corn taco shells. The employees were having a good time laughing and cursing from what I can hear through the drive-thru window. 30 minutes in total to get our food. Cold food after waiting for the corrected order. read more

Del Taco - Simple order - Mexican Near Me - Redlands, California

Just stopped by this morning for a convenient breakfast. The ordering process and payment went smoothly, but then the order accuracy was lacking I ordered and paid for 2 hash browns sticks, however only received 1. So now I must go elsewhere to get something to make up for it. Only good thing to come from this experience is the food I got was greattt, the only reason why I am giving more than 1 star rating. read more

this little young man is so lazy i've never encountered someone who just does not care about a job that is so easy. said he had no forks i wasn't buying it so he walked 5 steps and grabbed a ton of them. tried to skip out on the fries too. maybe if you focused more on doing your job instead of flirting with coworkers people would actually still put money into this place! read more

The girl working on Nov 30 at about 2-3am was chill and made probably the best carne asada fries I've had from del taco in my life. (Not exaggerating) It was so flavorful and it was loaded with food. I made a stop here late one night and ordered thru the drive thru. It was not a topical stop for me as my health was not well at the time. So when It was time to pay at the window, I completely forgot my wallet. The staff was so kind hearted, they had honored my meal for free and actually saved my life because my pressure dropped and was not able to drive home. Because of this act of kindness, I am writing to you whom ever reads this that they may have only 3 stars but the people who work here has a heart of gold. I will be back to repay you guys and thank you so very much for saving me that night. read more

If I could leave a zero I would. The girls working the night shift didn't want to fix my order. I asked for two quesadilla tacos and I get two quesadillas. josh made our halloween extra special! super cool guy. made our night with such a positive vibe.

There's a white dude with glasses that works the window late nights. Me and my girl are avid Del taco enthusiasts and every time he's working the window he asks " any sauce with that?" We can tell him we want ketchup and he will give us anything BUT ketchup. We can tell him we want Scorcho, we will get anything BUT scorcho. My girl and I have a $20 bill that we are going to give him the minute he gives us the sauce we ask for and it is still sitting in my cupholder til this day. But the food is always hot and fresh we just are waiting to get our right sauce. read more

The drive thru worker us rude and needs more customer service train. She called me put and did not care.

Being that it is a New Year, we thought we'd venture into meatless menu options. We know that Del Taco uses Beyond Meat as their meat substitute, and so tried their Epic Beyond Original Mex Burrito and their Beyond Avocado Taco. The parking lot was ample size, and easy to get to the front of the restaurant. There weren't any customers in line, but the floor was marked for social distancing, there was hand sanitizer, and the employees wore masks and gloves (even in the back of the store). The Beyond Meat is a plant protein based meat substitute, and in our two items, it was to resemble ground beef. For sure this isn't a straight forward ground beef substitute. But on the other hand, when you add the Mexican spices, tortilla or taco shell, and the veggies, it tastes okay. The meatless isn't as rich and full flavored as real beef with a bit of after taste. Also the chew is different, not as firm. When this product first was introduced we tried a side-by-side comparison, and you could tell there was a big difference. But on a standalone tasting, it was okay. If I were a regular diner of Del Taco, and wanted to go to plant based protein, I would consider the switch. It seems that roughly the calories were about the same between meatless and meat. But, obviously, you pick up the health benefits of plant based. And there is a cost difference, about a 50% more for meatless over the comparable meat versions. As always, there are tradeoffs. read more

I haven't been to Del Taco in years. I was never a huge fan of Del Taco bc sometimes the food is good and sometimes it wasn't so good. But I recently saw the commercial about The Del Taco, so I thought I would give the Del Tacos a try. I ordered The Del Tacos and a combination burrito with extra beans and of course I had to get their fries. I love the crinkle cut. To my surprise, everything was very good. I was impressed with the size of the Del Tacos and with plenty of beef and cheese, just like the commercial says. The burrito was better than I thought and it was bigger than I remember them in the past. So I'll definitely be back. Also, I used the Del Taco app, which worked great. read more

Their card reader wasn't working...I get. But because it took so long and we patiently waited, the chipotle sauce dried out and it was just gross and dry. I feel like they could have just remade the tacos since we only got three since it wasn't delayed on our part but only there's, I just feel like it is common courtesy. read more

WORST DEL TACO EVER!! If you want to grab a bite to eat at night, DON'T COME HERE! I was given soggy old fries that have probably been sitting there way to long since the drive thru was empty . All the surrounding fast food restaurants had lines in their drive thru. My hard shell snack tacos has a stale smell which workers ignore and served anyways it was inedible , and horribly made burritos. They just pretty much threw my order together, very sloppy crew, maybe because there is no manger on sight, just there to get PAID, no respect for the customers or the company. Be careful with your drive-through orders. triple check. Not all your items are given to you. It really sucks.

Crap. Just like their service. The person running the drive through, didn't give us hot sauce and forgot food. These idiots want more than $20 an hour for a stepping stone job! . You can't get a small order right! Make a Career out of being a retard! Congrats!! read more

I visit this establishment often. Typically my food is prepared properly. On my recent visit to the drive thru, I purchased the two fish taco meal. The fries were cold and mushy. The tacos were ridiculously over sauced and consequently, soggy and falling apart. Strangely, one of the tacos had a piece of fish that was so overcooked that it was hard. The other tacos fish was normal. The food was inedible and wound up in my trashcan. The store wasn't busy, so I think that this was a training issue. The workers were very polite but the food was deplorable. As I said previously, I use your services regularly and am very familiar with how your food is typically served. Please do better. read more

Taco Tuesday! Del Taco is typically my go to place for a quick and cheap meal. I frequently stop by this location when I'm in the area. The staff is usually pretty friendly, food is quickly served, and is if decent quality. However, today I ordered 6 value tacos and the shells on all of them were pretty stale. While still edible, my wife took one bite and rejected the rest. More for me ;)! I am not extremely picky about my food but I'm sure many people would've gone back to ask for a refund or to have another batch of tacos made. I understand that they likely clear out their "older" ingredients for Taco Tuesdays and Thursdays, but the quality control needs to be there to maintain the balance between cost and quality! If you're on a budget, stick to the burritos, $1 mini shake/lemonade, and chicken soft tacos! read more
