DelTaco in Los Lunas, NM is another place l recommend people to eat there because not only is their food very good but the service in my opinion is great. For example, I have noticed that the employees treat their customers, with kindness, respect, and are helpful to the needs of their customers and since they treated me real good for the many times that I've visited, that's why I recommend people to eat there. I would have given them 5 stars if they had gotten my order right. I am very hard of hearing, but I ordered 2 for the price of one (with coupon) fish tacos and a beef burrito. What I got was a delicious beef taco on a crispy corn taco shell and 2 kind of beef steak flour tacos with cilantro. It was all good and the price was right, under $6.00. I will go back soon for the fish tacos, but not tonight. They are my favorite, but surprises are great. read more

I just don't understand why on Tuesdays when you can get three Del tacos for under five dollars that Tuesday is the only day of the week that they cheat you on the meat! Any other day of the week you go in and get Del tacos you get a full taco on Tuesdays especially at this location they do not put enough meat in the taco to fill a small taco let alone a Del taco at this location especially never again it never fails. I would rather go spend my money at Benny's for taco Tuesday. They taste better anyway. read more

We stopped by today to try the Tamales. They are 2 for $4. Kinda pricy for the size. I didn't care too much for the masa as it was a bit dry but, the meat was very tasty. Wished there was more meat to offset the dryness of the masa. I did also buy a couple of extra tamales for my brother and gf to try and they liked them. Del Taco is still a great place to get good quality food. I think they are for sure better than the other taco chain (TB) restaurant. The pinto beans alone are a reason to come to Del Taco. Well i can honestly say that my experience today was nothing short of fast and friendly! I absolutely LOVE Del Taco! To describe it politically correct, It is definitely my favorite fast food Americanized Mexican food lol. Two reasons: seafood tacos and strawberry lemonade!!! Absolutely cannot steer away from either their fish tacos and especially not their Shrimp tacos since those run seasonal usually. Today, i finally got to eat a shrimp taco after probably a few years! I supposedly wasnt hungry but as soon as i saw Shrimp taco on their menu, i ordered 3 tacos without hesitation. My usual limit is 2 but i was willing to push my limits for these gems lol. Good god was it glorious!!! It has changed over the years from what i remember but still just as delicious! And pairs so perfectly with a strawberry lemonade! Today i tested the waters for once and also ordered an iced coffee and camarel cheesecake bites. Those were fabulous!! Coffee was just ok. A bit too sweet and watered down tasting. I also wish their shrimp tacos were mote visible on their drive thru menu. We were also here 2 days prior on the way to ABQ but did not see it. So on the way home, we stopped inside to use the bathroom then order and thats how we saw the shrimp tacos. Im still a happy fatty either way lol. Cant wait to come back! read more

I've been in the drive through waiting for over 45 minutes and finally just now placed my order (only because I was blocked in). So far I've seen three people behind me park and go in, get their food (2-3 bags full) and leave... all before I was even able to place my order. I don't think they understand the concept of serving the drive thru first.... I chose to go through the drive thru here because it is fast food, I could have walked into Chili's it Applebee's, got my food and be almost done by this time. This may be the last time I ever visit this location, definitely won't come here if I'm expecting any form of quickness in receiving my order. Next time I'll drive to Belen and eat at Taco Bell. Been here a few times...their del taco tacos are good so are the grilled chicken tacos. Tried the classic crispy shrimp tacos which were pretty good & they have pretty good guacamole! The chicken bowl is OK not great. Fish tacos are pretty tasty! Also their tamales are good. They are a bit pricier than their competitors but they have some variety. Driving from Denver to El Paso, I decided to stop by Del Taco. Last time I had it was 20+years in AZ, the service was great and the food temperature was also great. However the quality of the food is awful. Like my wife said "Ni selo daría a un perro callejero" "I wouldn't feed this to a street dog". She also said it wasn't worth the calories. I do like that the soft tacos had grilled marks and the burrito was hot but the taste was awful (bland, plain, tasteless). I also got the 2 tamales for $4, I don't know why I bought this. Like I told my wife, someone saw a picture how a tamale looks like but doesn't know what a tamale supposed to taste like and made it from scratch it was disgusting. People who like this tamales I hope you're not telling people who have never tasted a tamales this is how they are suppose to taste. Let say Taco Bell is a A+ this food is a solid C, enough calories to keep a man from starving. A good reminder that I will never buy Del Taco again, there's a reason why you won't find Del Taco in Texas. read more

Quick and accurate service! I get food here multiple times every month and they are one of the few fast food restaurants that get the order correct regularly. I love that they offer a Veterans discount (because I'm a veteran) and that they're quick. Sometimes they give the wrong sauce or the wrong burrito but the vast majority of the time (like 98%) they are on it. read more

Taco Tuesday, enough said. No, it would not be a Yelp review without more about Del Taco. This establishment had been good and really bad over the years. This last year, each visit has been great. Clean tables, floors, and bathrooms. My favorite menu item are the fries, but we only order those during special times! We usually go to Del Taco on Tuesday, for the tacos that are on sale. I like the soft and Brad likes the Crunchy tacos. The soft tacos are beef, lettuce, and cheese served in a tortilla. The tortilla although not homemade pair perfectly with the nicely seasoned beef and fresh grated cheese. Brad prefers crunchy. The sauces are on readily available at each table and there is a new "salsa" bar available. How fancy! My favorite thing about Del Taco is the price. We can eat inexpensively and healthy too! read more

During my road trip, I stopped at this locations drive thru. I ordered my food and was told to "give her a minute." She did not return for a few minutes. When she did finally returned she asked us to order when we were ready. We had already ordered but we thought we'd try again. Once we ordered the employee said "oh" as if she had finally remembered we were the same customers she had left to wait. Once we got to the drive thru, it took them 5 minutes before they even came to the window to take our payment. Not one employee bothered to come to the window to greet us or at least acknowledge us while we waited. When the cashier finally came to take our payment, they had our order wrong. In my opinion, the customer service and attention to detail needs to be revised and retraining is required. read more

I don't know where there are Del Taco's outside of New Mexico but we always have to stop in while traveling. I don't think its better than any other fast food mexican place but its different. The fish tacos are my favorite along with chili fries. read more

The foods very good at this Del Taco, so I had to give it 5 stars. Some of the other Del Taco's do not fill up the burritos or tacos with enough meat. The food is not expensive, it tastes very good for being fast food and a good variety of choices on their menu. The beans taste homemade. Good family restaurant for adults and children. read more

Lets face it, it is fast food, but it is GOOD fast food. Most Del Tacos I've been to are a 3 or 4, but this one is almost a 5. The folks working here area almost always nice, fast, and the food is pretty darned tasty. Heck, you can even get a decent fish taco here (don't laugh till you've had one). They make their own beans daily, chips, and more. WAY better than Taco Bell, and a bit more authentic (well, except for fries, but fries go GREAT with hot sauce, ketchup, and tacos/burtitos/tostadas). read more
