    Vegetarian!!

OK, I am not a fast food guy but this place is close to where I work and I heard they had some good vegetarian options. Grabbed the Avocado Fresco Bowl and a been crunchtada. The bowl was tasty and heartier than I thought it would be. Fresh avocado was perfect. The crunchtada (chalupa) was good, not great. Hot sauce over everything. Excited to have veg options nearby. This location seems newer. Clean, with nice people working there.

I stumbled upon this gem by accident while traveling from Chattanooga to Rome on business. Who would have thought this little town would get a Del Taco before we did? I haven't seen one since leaving Southern California years ago. This was my go to for quick Mexican food before all the other places like Moe's and Dos Bros came along. Del Taco can't do it quite as good as those places, but when it comes to "fast food" this is top of the list. Puts Taco Bell to shame and less likely to give your the trots. I ordered the Macho Combo burrito without even looking at the menu, purely reflex from years gone by. Fortunately they still make it and the taste hasn't changed. I'm guessing that all the newer, fresher type products they have are just as good and will try to branch out next visit. Don't bother with the other taco place up the street anymore. It's time to give Del Taco the business!

The fries here are a little cool. Probably bad timing. Still my favorite fries!

As an ex-Californian I take every chance I get to stop and eat at a Del Taco now that I live in the South. On my way to Atlanta, I stopped here with my family on two occasions and am happy I did, even though this isn't the best Del Taco in the greater Atlanta/Alpharetta area. -The biggest issue were the fries. I *LOVE* crinkle cut fries. But these were either floppy and mushy or too hard. Plus most of the fries came out cool. Bummed. But on my second visit all the fries were the right amount of crispy, but still not piping hot. +The hard tacos were delicious and made perfectly. +The quesadillas were great, like always, with just the right amount of cheddar and green chilis. -The chicken soft tacos were delicious but super small. They are rolled up and about the size of a roll of quarters. Usually they have more substance, in my experience. +The Cheeseburger was tasty. I've always loved that you can get a cheeseburger here and this one was perfect. +The green burritos are amazing, as always. Large, full of shredded cheese and chilis. So delicious. My favorite. +The queso chicken epic burrito was extremely cheesy. Also pretty spicy, so expect some kick. Very large! +The avocado fresco veggie bowl was good. Fresh veggies and a good overall taste. The rice is kinda like Minute Rice though so next time I'll order without. +The Churros are excellent! Always hot and moist. They go really quickly in my family. +Chocolate shakes are good. Not thick like Wendy's, but not runny. Sweet. Kid sized for $1 is a good deal. No whipped cream though. We were in, ordered and eating really quickly. Great service. I'll definitely go back.

This was my first time at Del Taco but the people I went with remembered it from their Childhood. The service was friendly and patient. They had options for vegetarians and vegans. The food was cooked well and seasoned, which is surprising for the low price point. I would dine here again.

    Fish tacos. Lime rice.

They have the worst Tex Mex food that I have ever eaten. The tacos barely have anything in them. Their chips are stale. Just yuck.

This location is truly a hidden gem tucked next to TitleMax across from Captain D's. As soon as we walked in, we were immediately welcomed and seated. We decided to sit outside on the patio, which was a nice vibe. They had traditional Spanish music playing inside, which really added to the experience, and the overall atmosphere was very clean and welcoming. The restrooms were also clean, which I always appreciate. We started with the guacamole fresco and it was amazing, super fresh and exactly how I like it. I ordered the chicken quesadilla for $12 along with a sparkling water, and my partner got the lengua tacos with a side of refried beans. Not to mention, the presentation of these dishes were very satisfying to look at. Our food came out in under 10 minutes, which honestly surprised us in the best way! The staff checked on us consistently and made sure everything was good. My quesadilla came out hot and delicious, and the portions were very generous. Both of us left full and happy, and for the price, it was more than worth it. I'd recommend this place to any crowd really whether that be families, a casual lunch, a gathering, or even a date spot. This will definitely be my go-to Mexican restaurant, and next time I come back I absolutely want to try the quesabirria and the churros.

The portion sizes were perfect. The decor is old and outdated. It's an old pizza place turned into a Mexican restaurant. Overlook it. The food is the star at Puerte de Oro. Would I recommend it? Yes. Not for a fancy date, but for a good lunch or weekend outing, it's quite good.

I ended up going with the taco flight and selected two Crown Jewel tacos -- the truffle mac and cheese with lobster -- along with one Island Banger, featuring coconut shrimp and mango salsa. Every single taco was phenomenal. The flavors were bold, layered, and genuinely exciting. What really sets them apart is their signature double-tortilla approach: a fried hard shell tucked inside a soft tortilla. It creates the perfect contrast of crunch and softness in every bite and holds up incredibly well to the generous fillings. Between the inventive combinations, fun menu, and the unbelievable execution, this was a top-tier taco experience from start to finish.

I can't speak to the other wait staff, but our guy clearly had other things on his mind. Every part of our visit took way longer than it should have. We were done about 30 minutes before we ever managed to get our checks and pay. So, I'd make sure to pay for a couple of hours of parking. I'm going to attribute all that to this particular waiter, and judge the place on its other merits. The person you get might be quick and attentive. All in all, this place wasn't my cup of tea, to be charitable. The decor was pretty over the top. Young adult is obviously their demographic. I'm 65, so take that into account. Taste, of course is an individual thing. Therefore, I'm giving the food about a 7, the ambiance a 2, and hope I'm never served by our waiter again .
