I've managed to visit three Del Taco locations this month during my travels between Indiana and Florida. We don't have a single Del Taco location in Indiana so I take advantage of the Georgia locations when I travel south. I love the bean and cheese burritos. They are simple, and the beans are so flavorful. Fairly amazing for a fast casual restaurant. Del Taco's bean and cheese burrito is just my perfect burrito. Truly Del Taco beans are better and more full of flavor than many sit down Mexican restaurants I visit. The guacamole is made fresh in house and it is excellent too. Service is always friendly. Hey Del Taco, please consider adding a few Indiana locations. read more

OK, I am not a fast food guy but this place is close to where I work and I heard they had some good vegetarian options. Grabbed the Avocado Fresco Bowl and a been crunchtada. The bowl was tasty and heartier than I thought it would be. Fresh avocado was perfect. The crunchtada (chalupa) was good, not great. Hot sauce over everything. Excited to have veg options nearby. I stumbled upon this gem by accident while traveling from Chattanooga to Rome on business. Who would have thought this little town would get a Del Taco before we did? I haven't seen one since leaving Southern California years ago. This was my go to for quick Mexican food before all the other places like Moe's and Dos Bros came along. Del Taco can't do it quite as good as those places, but when it comes to "fast food" this is top of the list. Puts Taco Bell to shame and less likely to give your the trots. I ordered the Macho Combo burrito without even looking at the menu, purely reflex from years gone by. Fortunately they still make it and the taste hasn't changed. I'm guessing that all the newer, fresher type products they have are just as good and will try to branch out next visit. Don't bother with the other taco place up the street anymore. This is the nicest Del Taco I have ever visited. We stopped on a trip because all the Del Tacos in our home town closed several years ago and we were nostalgic. This location was nothing like the ones we used to visit and it was a pleasure to stop in. Not far from the highway but it is a little past some of the closer fast food locations. It was very clean and the staff were so very nice, polite, and helpful. The bathrooms were even clean! We enjoyed our meals and were very happy we made the stop. read more

As an ex-Californian I take every chance I get to stop and eat at a Del Taco now that I live in the South. On my way to Atlanta, I stopped here with my family on two occasions and am happy I did, even though this isn't the best Del Taco in the greater Atlanta/Alpharetta area. -The biggest issue were the fries. I *LOVE* crinkle cut fries. But these were either floppy and mushy or too hard. Plus most of the fries came out cool. Bummed. But on my second visit all the fries were the right amount of crispy, but still not piping hot. +The hard tacos were delicious and made perfectly. +The quesadillas were great, like always, with just the right amount of cheddar and green chilis. -The chicken soft tacos were delicious but super small. They are rolled up and about the size of a roll of quarters. Usually they have more substance, in my experience. +The Cheeseburger was tasty. I've always loved that you can get a cheeseburger here and this one was perfect. +The green burritos are amazing, as always. Large, full of shredded cheese and chilis. So delicious. My favorite. +The queso chicken epic burrito was extremely cheesy. Also pretty spicy, so expect some kick. Very large! +The avocado fresco veggie bowl was good. Fresh veggies and a good overall taste. The rice is kinda like Minute Rice though so next time I'll order without. +The Churros are excellent! Always hot and moist. They go really quickly in my family. +Chocolate shakes are good. Not thick like Wendy's, but not runny. Sweet. Kid sized for $1 is a good deal. No whipped cream though. My fiancé and I went through the drive thru on Sunday, and will not be back. I had a fish taco. Well, I paid for one. I assume it was fish. It was a really, really small piece, possibly the tail or dorsal fin. If running out of something you sell the full serving until you can't. If I had a full serving I was horribly overcharged. My fiancé had their standard "signiture" taco. Most of what I said concerning my taco applies to hers as well, though we did see some meat that looked right. Both items had lots and lots of lettuce, salsa, or whatever was normal. There was so much that I believe they were being used as filler as opposed to enhancing. read more

A bit to salty for my taste but they are priced a little better then taco bell. And also they have selections on the menu.

Very very small portions. I mean like toddler sized portions. The food is cheap because they give you next to no food. Fries have never not been soggy & cold. If you're a water drinker this place isn't for you - every time you turn around from the drink fountain there is an employee very poorly pretending not to be watching you. In my opinion Taco Bell is definitely better than Del Taco. The meat had no flavor and the texture of the meat was weird. Staff was friendly and atmosphere was nice, no problem with those, the biggest problem is that the food just sucks. read more

They have the worst Tex Mex food that I have ever eaten. The tacos barely have anything in them. Their chips are stale. Just yuck.
