We prdered the lunch enchilada which my dughter said was not good an no flavor. I ordered the sopapillas and the quesadilla fajita. For starters fajitas ALWAYS include onions and peppers... but there was literally dry flavorless chicken with some weird cheese that was nacho cheese consistensy and not good. The rice was flavorless. It seems as if they have white people cooking who dont know how to use seasoning. If you get the sopapilla, make sure that they package it up extra extra good because it is extremely messy. They drown it in a honey mixture and it got all over my seat and floor making a sticky gross mess. I tried it and went into the trash

My wife went with the Burrito con Chili Verdi. Simply a flour tortilla rolled and filled end to end with tender pork cooked in a savory chili Verdi sauce, then covered with red sauce. There had to be a half pound of pork in the burrito. Add two drinks and the bill was $21.43. Good food, great prices!

Upon moving to Arkansas, I've been on the search for a solid authentic Mexican restaurant to dine at. Tonight, my search ended. El Mariachi is absolutely amazing! Located on the south west side of Fort Smith, you get a combination of awesome tasting food, delicious drinks, a choice of different heat level salsas, and all at very reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I had the street taco plate, with al pastor and carnitas meats with a side of refried beans and Mexican rice - which is all made fresh daily in house. I also tend to judge a Mexican restaurant very hard on the quality of their salsa. The regular salsa is tasty, if you ask for their tomatillo salsa, it is hotter and flavorful with a hint of chipotle pepper in the background, and for those brave enough to try it, the Diablo salsa has just the right amount of heat if eaten in small amounts. I also had a top shelf margarita, which for the price point they have it at was perfectly made and enjoyed. In the end, I had to try their flan. I will state, this is probably some of, if not The best flan I've ever eaten. If you are looking for delicious, authentic Mexican food in a comfortable restaurant setting, look no further and give them a try; you won't regret it!

Mexican Tamale was enjoyable with a good measure of masa and pork. The restaurant was moderately kept, and has air conditioning. While the dishes may not exhibit the outstanding flavor combinations typical of most Mexican or Latin American cuisines, they stay true to the authenticity of Mexican food. This may be a regional issue, as I'm a South Florida native who has had difficulty finding any hot peppers other than jalapeños in stores. Considering this, I feel that the restaurant has thoughtfully and fairly priced its menu, making it affordable. It's a great place to visit with family for a quick bite of nice food. Although I didn't try anything from the bar this time, I would like to do so in the future. I would also like to personally thank the gentleman who caught up to us outside to bring us a purse left by my party. I genuinely appreciate your act of honesty and integrity. Overall, I feel I am a perfect candidate to attest to this restaurant's quality and character. It's a beautiful charming place with so many charming attentive people who work there.

The ground beef taco and enchiladas were spot on, but the birria tacos were . Some of the best I've ever had. The spicy salsa is not for the faint of heart as it has a kick, but delicious.
