Regretfully did not get the "cheese dip", as we've heard it is great and overheard at least 3 other tables around us order it.

We were visiting the area from NC, and were taken here by some local friends. Our friends just told…read moreus "everything is good here", so we were left to our own devices to pick out what to eat. My husband got the Hawaiian fajitas-chicken, pineapple, and cheese sauce only and I got the California Skillet-Beef. My husband ate all of his main course (not the rice, refried beans, guacamole, salad that comes with it though) and said it was delicious. I ordered mine just the way it comes on the menu and it was amazing! I honestly think it was the best Mexican dish I have had in YEARS! It was superb and I would highly suggest it to anyone that likes allllll those ingredients separately, you'll love them all together...try them! Unfortunately, we were all to hungry to remember to take pictures, but we aren't sorry. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the fact our service was slow and seemed very scattered...we don't actually know which person was our waiter or waitress and it seemed there was no cohesive thought with who was waiting tables. The employees were nice and communicative though. We didn't use the restroom, so I can't comment on those facilities.

Wow, what a find in this little town. We were on an overnight stop and had a desire for Mexican…read morefood. The menu is very extensive and the establishment was very busy (always a good sign). Our wives ordered pork tamales ala carte and I ordered a beef taco, and 2 beef enchiladas with queso. At the last moment, I ordered 2 birria tacos with spicy salsa and my BIL ordered a steak burrito with no salsa. The tamales ( although pork) came with a ground beef sauce which they said was excellent. The burrito was ok, but he said it definitely needed the salsa and then it would've been perfect. The ground beef taco and enchiladas were spot on, but the birria tacos were . Some of the best I've ever had. The spicy salsa is not for the faint of heart as it has a kick, but delicious. If you're in the area and hungry for Mexican food, you will not go away hungry.

In one of my experiences with this restaurant my mom got birrai tacos with a vein still in the beef. I have gotten undercooked chicken almost every other time I come here. And last but most definitely not least the atmosphere. The whole place is filthy and the bathroom has pee stains on the toilet and floor. If you want good authentic Mexican food DONT COME HERE. There are many great Mexican restaurants near.

The staff was extremely friendly, all were fully masked. The tables inside for socially distance and everything was very well cleaned. My husband had the pork chili rellenos. He has had this dish in other places but nothing compares to this version. It was heavenly. The flavors were delicious. It was served with rice that was delicious and flavorful and a small bowl of beans that had some pork in it as well. He couldn't have been more pleased with the selection. I had the steak fajitas which were a large serving, and also delicious. They were served with the same wonderful rice, refried beans, and homemade flour tortillas. It was an amazing dish it also had some pico to Gallo, and fresh guacamole that was out of this world. I wish we lived closer because this would be a regular stop.

Everything was either oversalted or had no taste at all. The guacamole was almost too salty to eat. The chips and salsa tasted like canned, crushed tomatoes. The food was cooked well, attractively served, looked appetizing, hot, it met all of the requirements except taste. I really dislike negative comments and remember, this is our opinion, but we were not impressed by the food.
