One word .... yummy !!!!! The drinks are the best in town. My favorite is the pinacorita it's made with 1800 coconut which is my favorite tequila . The food is good too. My favorite day to go is fridays, they have 3 shots for 20$. Sometimes I'm there when they do their 1800 tequila flight, I take full advantage of that . The service is one of my favorite parts about Del Fuego the servers are always smiling . Seems like a fun place to work not only eat and drink . I will be back . As a new Patchogue resident, I am trying all the spots. Been to DF twice now. First time I had the pulled pork quesadilla which was marvelous. Second time, I had the brisket chimichanga which was tasty but not crispy, as a chim is a deep fried burrito, this was soft and doughy, but still good. Now I am a serious margarita guy. I ordered the el conquistador both times. First time, one of the best, second time, one of the worst. You must be consistent in your cocktails as well, no excuse for this. Wayyyyyyy over priced!!! I got an order of nachos a chicken quesadilla and a chimichanga (deep fried burrito) and it cost $55 that's obserd! I asked for sour cream and guacamole on the side and the put it on and there was so substance to them every bite had nothing in the nacho and the quesadilla was dry and didn't taste good! My chimichanga comes with rice and beans I asked to please just separate them and they charged me for an extra side of rice and beans! The chimichanga was very good tho but the place was ways over priced and I got put on hold 3 times while trying to order.. wonder why my order come miss interpreted and messed up...will not be going back read more

Came here on my lunch break and the food was great but the service needs work. It was really too slow for our hour lunch break and the waitress would disappear for abnormally long periods of time. I went here for the first time with my family and fiancé for my birthday after my sister said she enjoyed it. We were seated quickly (party of 6), and received chips and salsa which we all enjoyed. I ordered the lobster quesadilla and for $19, I wouldn't get it again. Not much food and I should've known I'd be paying $19 just for a few pieces of small lobster. It did taste good though! The service is what I did not like. When we went, it was not crowded at all, and it looked like they were overstaffed as most of the waitresses were standing around talking to each other. Barely checked in on us if we needed anything or to see if we were enjoying the food. My beer sat on the bar counter for 6 minutes before it was brought over to me by our waitress. I'll go here again, because I did enjoy the food and so did my family, but I hope to see some improvement with their service. I would love to try a margarita from there! read more

Honestly I have so much respect for Del Fuego. I have NEVER been disappointed with their salsa. Not to be dramatic or anything but I want the salsa to be my childeren's first food. Came in as a group of four on a Friday night, around 7:30. We gave our name and only had to wait a few minutes for a table (went down the road for a quick drink and had to chug to make it back). The place is busy, but what's odd is that it comes in spurts (large group comes in and it seems over-crowded, then a few minutes later seems normal, not so full). I appreciated having all of the hot sauces at the table and geez are some of them hot! Service was good, but all over the place. They kept chips and salsa coming steadily, but when we told them we didn't want a third set, they still brought it. Drink selection was great - I was able to have a Peekskill Simple Sour (delightful). Had the pulled pork tacos and they were awesome. Hefty servings for everyone around. I live out east but travel to patchogue for certain restaurants lol. This is definitely one of them. They have foodies constantly going there and putting pictures on Instagram making me hungry! I was about to log off and seen this place pop up and I should have already reviewed them. My problem is that yelp removes a lot of the truthful and sincere reviews but won't budge on those reviews which tear companies apart and bully people. I have been to the Del Fuego in Babylon and was pretty excited when I heard one was opening in my home town of Patchogue. They did a great job on the décor of the place. Like how each table has a great selection of different hot sauces to add to your dish. And also like a lot of the other restaurants in Patchogue front windows open all the way to the street. I really love this new fad because you get to enjoy a breeze while drinking down a cold margarita. When I came here for dinner one night I ordered the Nachos, and I was in love. Normally I am not a chili person but whatever was in the meat I couldn't stop eating. You could definitely taste the freshness. Their Lunch special is pretty awesome. I recommend the shrimp tacos. The food was good, however some of the items are a little pricey. There were two items that I would've ordered, but for the price, I didn't think it was worth it and chose to order something else. I love coming here! Great list of local craft beers, reasonably priced and even better during happy hour. The service here is always consistently terrific. The wait staff is enthusiastic, friendly, and most importantly, attentive. Our water cups were always refilled before we needed to ask, we always had a fresh basket of chips and salsa, and our orders and miscellaneous requests were handled extremely fast. The food I've ordered has always hit the spot. My favorite order is the shrimp tacos with some extra chipotle aioli on the side and I always finish my plate. The Texas Burger is also very delicious. The service at the bar is the worst I've ever encountered. The two bartenders were so busy flirting with the same girl that they neglected all the patrons. When the one wasn't talking to the girl he was busy planning a golf outing with his buddies and texting people. It took about 25 minutes to get my food wrapped and the check... Extremely disappointing....while the decor and set-up is quite appealing, the food itself leaves quite a lot to be desired for. The only way to describe the nachos is weak...for $11 we got stale chips, barely any meat or cheese or jalapeños, and the other toppings (guacamole, sour cream, and lettuce) were simply a thin layer on the top, while once you got passed the top layer all you were left with was stale chips and disappointment. The guacamole left you rather underwhelmed as well...did not taste home made. To me the even bigger disappointment was the Del Fuego burger. I just don't understand how you can serve a burger that is not juicy with no taste. I put the blame here on the chef. YOU MUST SEASON YOUR BURGER PRIOR TO COOKING!!!! A little salt and pepper please??? Maybe some garlic powder to mask the dryness of the meat??? Whoever picked the meat mixture should be fired.....a burger needs fat so it cooks properly and it is juicy. Meat with low fat content make for dry burgers, especially when the chef is pressing and squeezing it into the grill. As far as the rest of the burger... I could not even tell there was cheese or bacon on there. Their idea of avocado on the burger was 1 thin slice. The only thing you could taste was the chipolte mayo. The roll of choice for the burger did not work well either. It really says something when I do not want to finish my meal. read more

Great service! Very good food. I think the wings on Wednesday were the only downside. Nice plump wings however the maple wings were smothered in cilantro and the other wings were choked out in lime. This is one of our favorite Mexican places. The salsa is amazing, we can't get enough and always order two when the being the chips. The southwest chicken salad is always solid as are any of the quesadillas. The nachos are hit or miss, but when they're done right they are good! We are big Del Fuego fans. The food is just so darn good. But what the heck is going on with service in these restaurants ? ???? We have been chilling at St. James for a while . Eating that addictive salsa and practically begging the bar men to make a person a drink . .....it doesn't matter who is manning the bar. Face it, you're going dry over there. But once you get a beer, it cold, it's priced well and the people are nice . So when Patchogue opens and we hear its a bigger joint, we can't wait to give it a whirl. But oh vey! Same darn issue ! The bar is huge and the place is full of atmosphere . There is a need for management and training for the staff. I am going to give it another shot because in my world , guacamole is worth it. Don't bother going here. Service was absolutely horrible. We went on a Tuesday and it still took the waitress 15 mins to even come over to our table. Ended up paying $80 for two quesadillas and two margaritas. Could have went to moes or chipotle and gotten a better quesadilla. Drinks were delicious but not worth $12 a piece. Great food but due to its poor management I'd give this 1 star. The manager was extremely rude and confrontational. I have never been treated so poorly or yelled at when I made reservations and showed up and was told sorry they only take reservations from some people. Went there for lunch and sat at the bar. Too bad the bartender was non existent, nothing worse then waiting over 5 minutes before seeing the person who will take care of you. The decor was fresh and inviting but the service was lacking. I had the fried chicken (thighs) dinner, it came deboned so in my opinion it should have been called fried chicken fingers. The corn bread was on point and the sweet potato fries were over done. Well at least they had a decent beer selection. The atmosphere is alright, a bunch of 18 to 20 year old kids serving, the music is a bit too loud for a night with the family, if you are looking for a margarita and a bar, then you will be happy. Atmosphere is way too noisy. Sat at a table and thought the people to the right and left of us were part of our group. We were all right on top of one another. Place just trying to cram as many people in as they can. Waitress was great. Food not so much. Very bland. Ordered nachos to start. The beef tasted as if it were just browned meat. No flavor whatsoever!!! Same with tacos. Fajitas were tasteless as well. They need to be made on cast iron skillet and brought to table sizzling. These were not good. Coronas were good.
