    After brow lamination

    this place was so great! They still take all covid precautions so I felt safe and was able to relax! The staff was friendly and the service was fantastic. Not only was my brow lamination excellent, but the experience was soothing and relaxing. Sharon did my brow lamination and she was so kind. I will absolutely be back!

    I've had a lash lift at least four times now (all through Groupon, mind you). I've never had a reaction like this before. During the session, my now swollen eye was watering as well as burning. I told her it was burning, and she asked if I wanted to stop, in which of course I said no (we were already half-way through). She was also very fidgety and disrupt-full during the experience. I'm super flinchy so as you could imagine it wasn't enjoyable to say the least. She was very aggressive and didn't explain what she was doing. She also had no skills in communicating, not even bothering to ask me what brought me in, or what I was doing this weekend. However, she did ask her co-worker what she was doing, in which I thought she was talking to me, so I almost responded (awkward). Furthermore, she continued to rummage through her things and roll around in her chair. My shoulder and jaw were tense the entire time. I've never had an experience like that; I should be almost falling asleep, not on edge. I understand she needs to develop clientele and get experience, but wow, she should not be doing lashes; her personality is way too high-strung and anxious imo. Imagine my surprise when she said not to worry, she's done lash lifts many times. I continued to battle in my head the entire time if I was even going to leave gratuity. If I have good service, I'll give 20-25%. Furthermore, I'm not sure why she was the one who checked me out, asking me if I would like to leave gratuity. That puts clients in a very uncomfortable position. Why isn't the receptionist checking me out and asking me that? I left $5, because I felt super awkward leaving nothing. The worst part- my right eyelid was partially burned off, I had to apply Neosporin for a week. This entire experience reflects really badly on Deka Lash and makes the corporation seem unprofessional. I'm very disappointed and will not be a return customer.

    This was my first time getting lash extensions. My friend referred me and told me about a Groupon. Figured why not since I'm saving money with the Groupon. The store was easy to find and clean. All the staff were friendly and professional. Krista was so funny, sweet, and did an amazing job. She showed me a chart of different styles and through her expertise helped me picked what's best for me. I didn't want too dramatic of a look, but more natural for everyday. As if I had great mascara on. I loved it! It took about 2 hours.... think I might have dozed off for part of it. Although she did provide all the information on their products and membership she wasn't pushy about it. Which I appreciated. Overall, I'd highly recommend them.

    for the Eden Prairie location, had my lashes tinted a few Sundays ago. She missed some spots on my lower lashes and left black smudges.

    Never in my life have I had such a struggle trying to make an appointment. My first mistake was…read moreusing a Groupon for a place that doesn't really exist. The sisters sometimes do appointments through their home and at other times through a salon they don't own. It took two months to find an available appointment. The day of the appt Brittany text to say that she was running behind. I let her know that would push me back too late and WE decided to reschedule. No worries. Well, another month passes and we can't seem to make the schedules work. I work M-F 7-5pm and the only available appts were during the day. How anyone expects clients to adhere to that schedule is beyond me. I requested a refund since this is obviously not working out. Brittany has me talk with the "owner" her older sister Jennifer. J. Adler has given me the most DISCOURTEOUS customer service of my life. She explains to me that due to the cancelled appt (that both her sister and I agreed upon) my Groupon is now void. She offers nothing in return. When I push, I am told that if I pay her $50 MORE then she can get me in. More I ask? Why would I pay more, when I can't even get the originally purchased service?? She is unpleasant, rude and takes her time with each snarky text response. I hate to be out $100 and so I push for a better resolve. I'm told that they will allow me the original Groupon if I wait until May, when their new salon is open. I agree. 4/17: I text to book a May appt. 4/18: I ask for a response and am told the salon is not open yet and they will be in touch. 5/2: I let them know I have an event at the end of the month and would like to book. No response. 5/11: I state that I have been trying to book since January and would really like to have this appointment booked. I ask them to please respond. 5/11: J. Adler's response: "Yes but you also canceled yours appointment at the last minute which normally waives your discount! and we are being KIND enough to let you still use your Groupon. I was going to have you use it at the new salon but its not open yet so you will have to see Britney at the salon in uptown. I will have her reach out to you today." I'm so glad they are being kind enough to let me continue to try and book 6 months later. I'm not sure what business model this young woman is trying to follow, but she will need to change her approach to customer service if she wants to be successful. I have very little faith that I will be able to book before my baby shower or anytime ever . I am so disappointed and upset that I've lost $100 to someone who clearly doesn't deserve it. I'm scared that even if I were to get in, that they would do such a poor job that I would end up having to spend even more money to have them redone elsewhere.

After getting lashes from Jennifer Adler, I had zero trouble with them. They looked great, felt comfortable and no more itchy eyes. The price for refills is very reasonable. Any questions I had (and I had a lot), were always answered to my satisfaction. She is always Professional and more knowledgeable than anyone I had went to before. I eventually became a hair client of hers as well. My friends tell me my hair has never looked better. It's easy to book appointments...and she employs a service that reminds me of my upcoming appointments. Its comforting to have a hair and lash person I can trust.

The staff were kind and did a great job. It was really easy to book an appointment on the phone. Being they are students there are certain blocks of time they have availability. Reservations are required, the students will be doing the services and their availability are during the weekdays during school hours. Beautiful waiting room with a huge chandelier above. The nail tech are in 1 room. There's about 3 pedicure stations and 8 manicure station. They do a variety of services, with gel and regular polish. The techs are still in training, expect to be there for a long time. My manicure and pedicure took over 2.5 hours, which I didn't mind. The techs were so sweet and kept apologizing. Teacher will come and ask how you're doing and if you like the results.
