She not only is sweet and makes you feel comfortable instantly, but really makes sure that you walk out pleased with your lashes. They did a great job on my eyelashes, they looked beautiful but it's been less than a week and the lashes on my right eye have almost half of them gone it seems like. My left eye is better. Deka Lash in Redondo Beach definitely needs more experienced and creative lash artists. They charge an arm and a leg for what you can get a nail salon. Seriously. It would be different if you were paying an arm and a leg for some great lashes, unfortunately that's not the case. I've gotten better synthetic lash jobs at nail salons that charge $25.00 and last a heck of a lot longer. No more Redondo Deka Lash for me. Complete waste of money for mediocre work at best. Redondo Deka Lash - you seriously need more qualified creative experienced artists. Sorry..... but true...... Won't be going back. read more

So far loving this place! I got my lashes done for the first time here and it's been one week, and still no shedding! Very surprised bc compared to all other places I've been to, my lashes would shed within a day. Staff is very friendly here, they make sure you get what you ask for and is very helpful with any questions regarding the look you're trying to go for. Definitely considering to come back for a fill + maybe even join their membership they have going on. Only downside I would say so far is that my lashes are starting to clump together a tiny bit towards my inner corner. Other than that, I have no other complaints. DO NOT GO HERE. I've had lash extensions for about 4 years and have never had as bad of an experience. I had the "best" technician do my lashes, and they were a mess. The girl dripped glue in my eye the entire time, and after a day I already had lashes falling out in patches. I called to get them removed and they said I had to pay 30 dollars for the removal but could get a fill for free. There was no way I was going to sit there and have more lashes poorly applied, all I wanted was for them to be removed. Quite frankly they were embarrassing, I had a lady I didn't even know tell me I needed a fill (two days after getting them). I was finally offered a free removal but definitely didn't feel welcomed when I came in or booked the appointment. The girl quickly removed them and I left. After the bad experience, I felt I deserved a refund. I had to walk around with janky lashes that only looked good the first day. In my opinion, this place is a scam. I was refused a refund but could come in for a "complimentary set" and was lectured on how eyelash extensions work. I'm honestly disappointed the tech didn't own up to her mistakes because there was no way those lashes were acceptable. I strongly recommend going literally anywhere else. read more

I came in on Tuesday here at Deka Lash for the very first time and Sam Kong was the one who did my lashes. She was very friendly right when I stepped in. She even offered me and my brother some water. I've had lash extensions before but at a different place. I was very impressed with the outcome of my lashes. Sam was able to do exactly what I wanted. She really seems to know what she's doing and she explains to you how it works. I loved her! She makes you feel really comfortable. **update** i was contacted by the owner of this salon who was very helpful and took an intensive look at all of the issues i had. he's been very understanding and seems to be passionate about finding resolutions. thanks jeff! *original review* i really want to love Deka. they do do fantastic lash-work. but the customer service i've recieved has been extremely frustrating. my first issue was with what they call "credits." i was supposed to recieve a deal and then somehow with how the credits panned out, i didn't actually save any money, and it feels like there is no rhyme or reason to it. my second issue happened when my technician started putting in incorrect tip amounts, tipping herself far more than i had told her. i'm a generous tipper, always 20%, but she bumped it up to 30-40% multiple times, prompting me to say something. i talked to probably upwards of 10 people and the situation never really got resolved, just pawned onto others, and eventually dropped. my last issue (that triggered me to write this review) is that i decided to reluctantly cancel my membership after so many customer service issues. however, i was told i had enough credits on my account for one more fill post-cancellation. i didn't end up using them because COVID hit the next week. so i figured, obviously, a pandemic hit, and everything is on hold. apparently not, because i was told my credits expired mid-april.... even though they were closed and i couldn't have used them if i tried.... soooo, there's like $40 down the drain. i don't leave reviews often but i wish it hadn't gone down like this because Deka truly does do great work, but i can't invest in a company i don't trust /: read more

I have gone twice already to have my lashes done with Jesca,... they are very natural looking and are very lightweight. I forget that I even have extensions on. She is very good at making them look exactly how you want them. Very impressed, for I have gone to other places and have been disappointed. My lashes have lasted for more than 2 weeks and care is very easy to maintain. IF in the area and need your lashes done, this place is by far the one to go to!! I've been getting eyelash extensions for approximately four years, I'm a bit obsessive about keeping them looking beautiful soul and glamorous. I joined Decca lashes membership about six months ago shortly after they opened. I could not be happier with the way my eyelashes look and the service that I received every time I go in for a fill. Sam and Ariana are my lash experts, they are professional, prompt and listen to all my expectations and needs. And I've also had the micro blading for my eyebrows with Ariana. So my first time ever getting eye lash extension... I was tired of trying the magnetic lashes and honestly just tired of makeup in general so I wanted to try this eye lash extension rage... Well Deka lash did not disappoint! I chose Deka Lash over the millions because of all the high recommendations from the various people over the years I have come across when asked, "your eyelashes are gorgeous, do you get them done?" Only to hear them reply with , "Yes, I got to Deka!" So here I am. Their prices are the most reasonable- in my opinion, when first starting out and the lash technician that I had yesterday, Ariana was kind, knowledgeable and not pushy when it came to selling products - even though I wanted to buy everything because I wanted to be sure I was doing this all correctly! I chose to do the classic lash, which I believe I will change up a bit next time I go in for my fill ( I definitely will want more volume) , its very natural looking and the lashes-- well I can't even tell they are there! I got my eyelashes done first time classic set at Deka Lash on March 21 2018 and I am very impressed with everything from beginning to end. It was easy booking the appointment, great getting a confirmation email, and arriving and getting checked in quick and efficient. The professionalism and serene elegant decor added to the experience. LaTrina was great and profesional and understood what I wanted my look to be, the end result was perfect and tasteful. The conversation was kept at a low personal volume and privacy, comfort and cleanliness was great making the two hour appointment feel like a breeze. I am more than satisfied with my lashes ! I unfortunately disliked the way Julia was talking my technician.

Let me start by saying that all of the technicians are super friendly and personable. The two stars are only for my great technicians because I think the problem I have is with the actual product itself and the way the business is run. I've had my lashes done other places and they still look great after 3 weeks and sometimes I could even stretch it to 4 weeks. At Deka Lash, my lashes started falling out right away and then I seriously had just a few straggly lashes left at the two week mark. Like I would need a new full set, not just a refill, which I don't have time to do every 1.5-2 weeks. I take very good care of my lashes, I don't get them wet, I just sort of wash around my eyes and don't use any eye makeup- I would just let the lashes do their thing on their own, no mascara, eyeliner, or shadow. There really is no reason that they should be falling out so quickly unless there was something wrong with the adhesive or the lashes. Its's really weird and unfortunate. I kept going back for several months thinking that maybe I was doing something different or wrong, but it kept happening. I would leave with great looking full lashes, but they barely lasted a week and by two weeks, I seriously only had a few lashes on each eye. It was terrible. I then went to cancel my membership and was told that I needed to give 30 days notice, so it wouldn't be canceled for another 30 days, which is sort of bs. read more

Such a lovely salon! The space is hygienic, light, bright and open.I came in for lash extensions which was done by LaTrina. The process takes about 2 hours but she made sure I was comfortable for the duration. They have these cozy bed-like chairs and provide you with a fluffy blanket so you could really just sleep during the process if you wanted to! Very pleased with my results as a first timer. Beware of Deka Lash. Unfortunately the lashes start falling out in a few days and by two weeks, they were just about all out so you really have to go for a refill every two weeks! The technician was very good eventually admitted that they don't last that long. I decided to freeze by account (which they charge you $5/month to do) and used Grande Lash lash booster (similar to Latisse but less expensive and just as good as I have used Latisse as well). My lashes grew - which was great. So I decided to cancel my membership. To my surprise, you still have to pay for a refill and then they cancel your membership!! Although my freeze confirmation indicated that I was well within the 30 days, it is Deka Lash policy to charge you for a refill and then execute the cancellation! Poor customer experience overall and poor policy when not satisfied. Very disappointing so . . .buyer beware and read the fine print no matter which lash extension salon you use. Use Latisse or Grande Lash instead (both on Groupon too!) read more

I got my lashes done and brows microbladed by Ariana and I am ridiculously happy with them! My brows before were too short, and there was a part in the middle where I had a scar, so no hair would grow. It was really frustrating. Now, my brows are full and the scar is nowhere to be seen! I didn't feel any pain and even when I'm standing as close as possible to the mirror I can't tell the difference between my actual hair and the microblade strokes. I'm blown away by how good it looks! And my eyelashes just look incredible too! She did them perfectly I'm so happy with them read more

I had Ariana as my technician and she was AMAZING! She's done my eyelashes before (which were perfection) but I went in recently to get my eyebrows microbladed. She gave me the eyebrows I've always wanted! I was also pretty nervous going in because it's not exactly calming to have your eyebrows cut into and Ariana handled it like a pro. She kept me talking throughout the entire process and said super encouraging things which kept me really calm. She talked me through everything that was going on and did a perfect job! If you can get Ariana I would highly recommend her she has a really steady hand and doesn't settle for less than perfection. If I could give her more than 5 stars I would! read more
