I had to write this review...I had a not so good experience with previous lash artist. The manger reached out to me and totally heard me out and said she would make it right. She was very understanding and knowledgeable. When I went back to this location a different Lash Artist named Marisol did my lashes this time..and she did my lashes amazing!! I've visited this place twice. I was scheduled with the "master" lash tech and was seen by a amateur tech without my knowledge. This tech burned me six times with the glue! I decided to schedule another appointment with this "master" and they tried to pull the same thing. As of now, they have yet to make any accommodations for this unprofessional behavior. I've been going to Deka Lash for a few years now. Nyah has been my lash artist and she always does an amazing job.

It was my first time trying out this location. I'm gonna speak and rate the lash technician that worked on my eyelashes. She was friendly but didn't like how she works. And as a lash artist she did poorly. She was too rough on my eyes, uses her tools so rough, she pulled my own lashes twice. She left lots of my own lashes without applying extensions. Also, she had a foul mouth. I get that your friendly and feel comfortable with your clients but keep it clean and professional. I don't remember her name, but she has colorful lash extensions and her station is on the far left side of the room. read more

Lash extensions... fell out within a week & half. I was in disbelief because else where my lashes would last the standard 3 weeks. I blamed myself the first time; however, I went back for a full & the same issue occur. I still gave it a third shot, & you guessed it... at a week & half my eyelash extensions were non existent. I was basically getting a new set every time. Finally, I was fed up & did not go back. Ladies do not be fooled because eyelash extensions should maybe drop 50%-70% at 3 weeks... NOT at a week & half. Probably, was a scheme to set a standard for clients who do not know better. More money for full sets, since the lashes will not make it 2 weeks. A month or so goes by, I receive an email stating that there was an issue with the humidifiers; therefore, it was the reason so many peoples eyelash extensions were falling out. Also, the email stated, "if you do not reply [by said date], then we will assume you are happy with the services provided." WHAT! (The email/customer service is what prompted this yelp review.) I read the email two weeks late, FYI. Plus, do you think I will travel all the way down there to get a iffy job done. Nope, I did not bother even trying to respond to the email. Was really excited about this studio opening but was disappointed in the end. I received the classic natural set lashes; I felt like it added a little bit of length but no volume whatsoever. I also felt like the lashes were falling off within the first week while following all of the precautions. It's been two weeks and my lashes look scattered; would not come here again. Colleena was my stylist for the second time. The first time was amazing my lashes were perfectly light and very natural the same length as mine. A little over 100.00's The second time she did not disappoint although she was going to do the samething just somewhat thicker the last time we spoke and were very clear on what I wanted. I came out looking beautiful but not so natural for 250.00 not counting tip ( oh yes 5.00 discount for yelp review) needless to say I almost hit the floor. I requested same tech because she's so sweet and really wanted to understand what I wanted this time I assumed she was reading her last notes she did a fabulous job. Next time I will be absolutely clear (not totally her fault because when I called I told the receptionist I wanted what I had before just a little thicker and she said ok u need the ??) haven't had my lashes done but three times so not sure what everything means. I've been coming to this location for lashes for almost a year now. I appreciate the cleanliness of the location and my experience with the staff, Mainly Nyha, which has been amazing. She's timely and consistent with her appointments. As I've had my lashes for awhile I recently wanted to take a break and she maintained the health of my natural lashes through the extensions. Horrible! Got my lasher done because my regular tech wasn't available, Amaya did my lashes. She seemed cool and still accepted my appointment because I was indeed alil late. But, when I say the glue was like a mountain!! On my lashes, believe me...and they were crunchy, that's when you know it's team too much!! My Lord! She put so much glue that it was ridiculous! She even put glue on my natural lashes that didn't have an extension!s...what in the lash glue hell was she doing? SMH! I went in for the first time with a Groupon and was booked with Emaya. She asked me for my desired look and I told her as natural as possible (I couldn't stress that enough) and she listened! I decided to give this place another try after having a terrible experience of literally all lashes falling out ( pre Covid) on two separate occasions. This time around, the lashes stayed for the most part but I asked for a subtle cateye and instead got all of lashes the same size. They still looked decent so I decided to go to a different stylist for my fill to see if I could get someone to provide a more natural look. I scheduled the appt one and half week ahead, just a day prior to me going out of town. They immediately accepted then confirmed my appt 2 days prior to my appt time. Unfortunately the day before my appt, stated they had to reschedule the following day. Well I am going out of town, so NOW I will have to wait another week for a fill. What is the point of having multiple lash techs and unreliable staff. The message I received wasn't even complete. Will likely give them another try ( they are conveniently located) and will update if customer service improves. read more

I have been getting lashes for a year now from a couple of my regular lash techs but I had to get one somewhere else and neither of them had availability. I could not tolerate the fumes of the lash glue. It felt like breathing in ammonia. They had to remove my lashes. I have been going to deka Lash for a few months already, and I didn't really love the results of what was supposed to be the true volume. I always left the studio feeling like they looked like hybrids or classics to me, but due to the location I still continue going. one time I was about 15 minutes late to my appointment putting me which five minutes past the grace. When I arrived the last tech did not want to see me. She Refused to see me because I was five minutes late. This left a really bad taste in my mouth as this person did not show any type of appreciation for her customers in spite of that I continue going since technically it was my fault for not being there within the time allotted BUT The following two appointments that I had with her she was running late with her client 15 to 20 minutes late. Did she apologize? No but the irony is that I had to wait for her until she was done!!! she was not apologetic whatsoever. Today I had to cancel my appointment with with short notice due to being in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID -19, I explained to her that I did not mean not to go in to my appointment but because of the notification I did not want to expose anyone to COVID-19. I asked her to please waive the fee as this was out of my control. She still went ahead and charge the late fee, she said that due to the financial impact that this would have on the lash tech, she would have to charge me. I explain that I could've easily gone in, but I don't think that would be the responsible thing to do and going in and possibly infecting her. This ultimately would have more of a financial burden on her. I have unfortunately not been able to make my appointments before, and I have paid the fee with no problem because it was my fault but this time it was out of my control, it is ridiculous that they don't look at the circumstances!!! I ask to just cancel my membership... she didn't apologize or try to make things better. She went ahead within minutes and send me the cancellation to my email.
