My first visit for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food and service was. I had the jalapeño popper grilled cheese and tater cakes. All I can say is they both were delicious. Wife had kickin' turkey wrap we'd hunch she also enjoyed. The icing in the cake was my strawberry shake. There were so many flavors I couldn't decide. I'm just gonna leave a blanket review cause I've tried numerous things here, some I've liked some I've not liked. But I can tell you what I have to get every time I go, which by the way is super easy cause I work right next door lol, the fruit tea. Omg, I love their fruit tea. I've gotta get a large every time I go, and sometimes I just go for the fruit tea. I love going in there. It's so happy and cheerful. The staff is always polite. One thing I will say, whether it's something I've liked or didn't like it's always made to order. I've not tried any ice cream yet, but they have so many tempting flavors I will be trying them soon. Kids had the "Basic Betty" waffles, adults had breakfast burritos, slider waffle sandwich, and just for kicks tried the potato cake (hashbrown potatoes cooked/crisped in a waffle iron). Nothing was basic, and everything was delicious and crispy. Food was fresh, well-presented, and very well priced (can't beat $9 for a large waffle breakfast). Ordered the monte cristo with a fruit tea. I looked at the reviews before coming and they had really good reviews, so I thought why not? I really don't understand why they are so highly rated. The food was bland and the waffle was soggy. The fruit tea also didn't taste like tea, it tasted like straight up orange juice. It looks like maybe people only come here for the ice cream and coffee, which my brother got and said was really good. Also the 3 girls that served our group did NOT want to be there.
