If I could leave her 5 stars I would. Unfortunately the great experience stopped there. Post root canal I sought treament from Dr. Sbeih for clenching/grinding to prevent more cracked teeth. He gave me a custom built night guard. After 3 months I came back complaining that the nightguard was making things worse, changing my bite and making my teeth clench worse. Dr. Sbeih told me I am too young for botox (24yo) and that is the only treatment option, other than going back to my retainer (which I wore when I cracked the tooth)! He felt my masseter muscles and laughed and said it was crazy how large they are and how much I'm clenching. Called the nurse over to feel them too. This experience was so upsetting, unprofessional, and frankly embarrassing. I practically begged him for some kind of treatment or relief and was laughed at and sent away. Trust me, I argued multiple times that if I go back to my retainer I'd crack another tooth. After this I cancelled all future appointments and was asked why via text, I replied to let them know how I felt... and never even got a response. This was 6 months ago, but I wanted to post my review now because the damage has been lasting and tremendous. I'm now seeing 3 different specialists for TMJ disorder and paying thousands trying to reverse months worth of damage that Dr. Sbeih has caused me. My quality of life is not the same.

Also loved that they can make their own "Invisilign," which is a more approachable option and works all the same. I've just started treatment but after checking out a couple other Orthodontists, I'm very pleased with the choice and confident. I've been to several appointments and started wearing them so feel I have a good feel for the office and staff. Positives: - Office is convenient in Mclean - Dr Marzban is very personable and knowledgeable. He explains everything and really listens with regards to any questions or concerns. - Pricing was competitive - Dental technicians who do a bit of the work in terms of xrays, applying aligners, etc are all competent / friendly / thorough. - Front Desk staff is friendly, helpful and going out of their way to help me file with two different dental plans without any fuss, they are happy to help. - Appointments have been on time, little to no waiting - They open early so I've been able to get to 8AM appointments and still get to work close to on time. Negatives: - Only negative is the parking is a bit tough right out front. But there is a garage behind and underneath the office which generally has open spots. She is a dental angel. Super friendly, knowledgable, and assuring. She goes out of her way to make sure you feel comfortable....including putting wireless headphones on you so that you can watch any Netflix show you want during your cleaning since she has a TV above her chair. It always feels so....luxurious :) Her cleanings are gentle, thorough, and she is great at explaining x-rays, and following-up on things she has been keeping an eye on every 6 months. I even ran into her at the car dealership after I had only been to see her once, and she recognized me and remembered my name! She really seems to care and take interest in her patients. I always love that she professionally cleans my Invisalign retainer each time I go even though I didn't get Invisalign through them. She recently got a new hygienist who is also very friendly. I did get a couple of gum pokes when she cleaned my teeth but it wasn't as bad as previous hygienists in other dental offices. They are practicing strict COVID measures which I really appreciate. The process is to give them a call when you park and they will let you know when to come up. Masks are required, and they give you a clean set of gloves right before your cleaning.

This office has clearly gone downhill and feels like a completely different place compared to what you would expect from a professional dental practice. The level of care, professionalism, and basic patient respect was unacceptable. My son came in with a painful tooth, and instead of examining him, the staff immediately questioned us and brought in multiple people, including the office manager and the dentist, Jackie. The situation felt confrontational from the start. The dentist Jackie refused to even look at my son's tooth and pointed out the time (4:45 PM) as if that justified not providing care. At no point did she perform a proper examination, which is the bare minimum at any dental visit--especially when a child is in pain. She also gave incorrect information about which tooth was affected, identifying it as tooth #20. We later determined ourselves that the issue was actually between teeth #17 and #18. This lack of attention and accuracy is extremely concerning. When I asked for help and clarification, the response was defensive and dismissive. I requested my son's dental records and instead felt rushed out, as if we were being escorted out rather than helped. The entire atmosphere was tense and uncomfortable, with multiple staff members surrounding us instead of focusing on patient care. For a pediatric dental setting, this is completely unacceptable. There is only one pediatric dentist at this office, and based on our experience, I would not trust them with my child's care. If your child is in pain and needs proper attention, do not come here. Go somewhere else where your child will actually be examined and treated with care and respect.

Hopefully they get it resolved, but I honestly wish we had chosen a different practice that was actually big enough to handle kids/parents schedules.
