Excellent food and good services. Restaurant is located in the heart of SOHO, party before or after visit would be good. Must go!

A great place in the heart of Carnaby. Dropped by to rest my feet and grab a bite. I was definitely impressed. I ordered a sparkling water to start followed by one of their signature Gin & Tonic's which was very good. Keeping it light I ordered their Italian Charcuterie and Italian Cheeses. These were by far some of the best I've had before. They stopped over to offer a house appetizer which was quite good as well and a generous portion too! Beautiful view, great food and drink. What more could you want? We'll the service of course and I can confidently say it was the cherry on top of this restaurant and what made this memory for me. Thank you!

If you're strolling around Carnaby Street in the middle of Soho on a weekday evening (any day after Tuesday) and are looking for a spot to eat without a reservation, you're in trouble! We found ourselves in that very spot on a busy summer Wednesday evening. It was drizzling, but the streets were packed with tourists, office goers and everyone else just looking to have a good time. We love Tapas and took a chance and asked Dehesa if they had room for 2. First they told us it was an hour wait and then when we asked if we could hang out at the bar, the host took us to table at the back & said we could use it, if we promised to vacate within an hour (he had another reservation past that). With neck to neck tables, and barely any place to go squeeze in and out between tables, Dehesa really is a test of your ego!! We quickly ordered our tapas - Sauteed Prawns with Riso di Venere, Manzanilla Sherry & Toasted Walnuts and the Trofie pasta with Aubergine, Fig, Pine Nuts, Mozzarella and Tomato Sauce. It all sounded very fancy, but looked quite ordinary when it arrived! Not blown away with either of the two plates - the pasta dish was too tomato-y and that overpowered everything else. The prawns were slightly chewy and lacked any real flavors. Prices range between 7-9 GBP as an average. Overall my verdict would be that this is a decent place to grab a few drinks and then move on to someplace else for the food. As an aside, they had a great cheese selection, so might be worthwhile to try it.

Carnaby street is a huge shopping destination so I often forget about all the lovely little bars and restaurants in the area. Dehesa is one of those places, a lovely little tapas bar at the corner of Ganton Street, great for a glass of wine after shopping or work. You can also select a few tapas dishes to share between your group or if you are quite hungry you can pick the set menu and sample lots of different flavours. I particularly enjoyed the chorizo, the trout and the aubergine as well as the deserts that were all great! If you would like to book the place for a professional occasion you should consider the downstairs dining room that fits about 15 people. We booked it for a company dinner and were all very satisfied with it. The staff were all very attentive and were always trying to make sure everything was ok, while topping up our water and wine. In general everyone had a lovely time, enjoyed the food and drinks and we were also able to have a great discussion without the music being overpowering. I would definitely recommend the place and will have it in mind for future events in the area.

I love tapas and a good wine. On a busy Saturday night all other places were packed and I was only able to get a table outside here. Our server was extremely attentive and had some great recommendations. Every dish was amazing. We shared a couple of vegetarian dishes, a couple seafood dishes and a couple of meats. The wine (Brindisi) was my favourite. Order anything from the menu, you won't regret it!

Stopped by Dehesa for dinner after many of the other restaurants had an hours wait, and it was a good experience. Food is delicious. We had several tapas like the meatballs, flatbread, and calamari, all of which were great. My only gripe was our waiter. He was inattentive, and sure enough forgot to put jn half of our order. Another wait staff realized 30min in and apologized. Overall, good food here though.

I really wanted to try the pulpo (octopus) but focused on the other tapas this time instead.

It's a little unassuming family run restaurant but with serious intent from the kitchen. I was offered a table in the main dining room or the garden when I walked in - as we are in the middle of 'Wimbledon week showers', I chose to dine indoors. The menu was written in impressively authentic sounding terms but closer inspection revealed some fusion going on - lemongrass, tumeric and enoki mushrooms being amongst the ingredients on show. I'm up for a bit of fusion as long as it doesn't end in con-fusion! Having confirmed that I was hungry, the helpful waiter suggested getting 3 dishes. I couldn't help myself and went for the fusion sounding dishes. Panceta con cidra was pork belly, rolled and marinated with garlic, black pepper and dill, braised in Asturian cider. I zoom in pork belly whenever I see it and this version has been slowly cooked to melting tenderness with the dill coming through strongly - it didn't need the wedge of lemon which came with it and I enjoyed it as it arrived. Pollo a la plancha del Parador were a pair of chicken thighs marinated in lemon grass, turmeric, garlic & coriander and cooked on the plancha (grill). I prefer dark meat as it remains moist and the oriental kick wasn't too overwhelming. When the waiter said the Higadillos Salteados (chicken livers with Iberico Jamon, enoki mushrooms, shallots, black pepper and butter) would be served pink inside, I smiled - nice to see a restaurant willing to serve food as it should be cooked and not pander to squeamish guests. These were a delight and to get some Iberico ham from acorn-fed pigs was a bonus. This is tapas of the highest order, given a little twist. A little Yelp gem which deserves its high star rating.

Situated on quite a quiet street, it is well worth taking a visit. With a choice of over 40 tapas, all very well priced and utterly delicious. Your choice of dish will flirt wildly with all senses and deliver all promises. I am always very happy to find a restaurant which has a diverse yet experienced selection of fish. El Parador specialises in scallops, Halibut, and crab... although they were many others still left to be tried. The interior Decor, to me seemed rather french with little white table clothes and a smart yet gentle ambience. The wine list was impressive to say the least, with over 30 bottles of wine, in the price range of £13-30, with over 15 available by glass. The lunchtime menu has a special offer of 3 tapas for the price of two.

Literally is the sort of Spanish flavor that you can hardly find in London. Highly recommend their suckling pig and the squid ink rice. My god that was so good I wanted to encore. Anchovies on crisps is very interesting but others dishes are not as amazing as what I have mentioned. But don't get me wrong! Everything was so good. Just these things that's so outstanding I had to highlight it. The wait staff was so nice too. We didn't know how much to order so we just keep on ordering but she actually tell us when to stop and turns out the portion was perfect for the two of us. Also we love a good jug of sangria. We made a mistake and didn't tell them to go easy on ice but you make sure to do that so you don't have to pay for half a jug of ice! Only thing I have to moan is the ambiance because it wasn't anything extraordinary. Very commercial very ordinary. Anyway, give it a go and I think you'll enjoy it!
