We had dinner reservations to celebrate 4 friends who came in town for their birthdays. One of the…read moreguys heard about the place from his coworker and said we had to go! So we arrive just about 15 minutes early but were immediately seated. It was a bit confusing about where the host stand is since there are two entrances... but no problem because the owner was at the bar to greet us. The customer service is top tier! The venue is beautiful! But the food ... left something to be desired. I ordered the pot roast based on recommendations from the waiter. He also recommended the greens over the green beans. I also added a side of mashed potatoes and fried corn. So first, the plate came out messy (see pic). It would have only taken a second to wipe off the edge of the plate. Then the pot was appeared shredded and covered in thyme and rosemary. Both over powered the meat. I'm wondering if I had the last piece and they covered things up with the extra seasoning from the bottom. My friend also ordered the pot roast and although hers was also chopped, she did not have as much thyme and rosemary- although she complained that it was too much. Next the greens tasted unseasoned and undercooked. The fried corn was not fried but were kernels of sweet corn in some type of cornstarch slurry - awful! The mashed potatoes are boxed but edible however the white gravy was not good. I missed on the menu that the gravy is white - it should be brown. Finally, we received a piece of cornbread- it was very dense but sweet. My friends liked it but I did not. My friends had a mix of feelings from "it was good" to "just ok but I won't take my left overs home." Needless to say I also did not take my left overs home. One saving grace about the meal was the fruit tea! It was delicious! I also ordered two chocolate covered strawberries for dessert and I wished I ordered more! Since it was four friends birthday- the singer (yes there was live music) called out their names and sang a rendition of "Happy Birthday". This same singer had the room up and dancing on several song! She did a wonderful job. Plus the restaurant provided a free dessert to each of the four birthday friends! They all enjoyed their desserts! So the verdict... the venue is beautiful and a vibe for a Saturday night but unfortunately I won't return for the good. There are much better spots for soul food at much cheaper price point!

I just ordered today 3 pizzas and the 32 count cinnamon bites and they forgot the icing again. This time I didn't have any at home and I don't eat them without the icing. It doesn't taste the same. So, I called and said if they can give me a credit for the cinnamon bites and the guy who answered said no. They could either apply a credit for the missing icing (which is like $1) or I can pick up a new order. Um, who's gonna pay for this gas to pick up something they forgot? After a long day of work and getting home to eat but then having to go out again? Absolutely not! How about you get the order right and not make me waste MY time, MY gas, and MY money!

I must admit, I don't expect a whole lot from any Little Ceasar's. If I am in a delicious "junk…read morefood" pizza craving on a budget, though, they're my go-to around here. For this particular visit, I planned to grab some pizzas as a thank you lunch treat for our veterinarian's office. Since I knew our morning was going to be busy, I attempted to order ahead online. The bonus was that if I ordered pick-up online, I was able to use a $3 off promo code. Unfortunately, it kept stating that there was an error in their system and to call the location to place the order instead. Thinking perhaps this was due to the order being placed online after hours, I decided to wait until the next day and try again. Morning came, and I waited until this location was open and attempted again to place a pickup order online (both with and without the promo code). No success. I hopped on the phone to call, and no one answered. Called again 25 minutes later, but still no one answered. Looked like I was just going to have to go in the morning of and place the order in person and pick-up then and there, and fingers crossed they may honor the $3 off online promo code. The morning of came, I waited until they were open, and I gave the phone call a try just one more time. No answer. So I headed on down. Upon arriving, I was greeted by a friendly young man, I believe his name was Tyler. I ordered and let him know that online was not working and if he'd honor the promo code since online and phone ordering was not successful. Unfortunately, he said he could not. I placed my order with him, and 20 minutes later, my pizzas were ready and looked and smelled amazing. While I was waiting, I noticed that Tyler looked to be the only one running this location. Also, a lot of construction workers came in and picked up a large order of pizzas as well. I take it this location is a "one man band" operation and is perhaps why the phones don't get answered. Nonetheless, Tyler was friendly, and this was perhaps one of the cleanest Little Ceasar's Pizza locations I have been to.

The most recent time I picked up pizza on the way home, the man at the drive thru was so completely rude and unprofessional. My husband had ordered and I simply asked if I needed to tip/pay, or if it was already taken care of. He seemed super put out to have to check, then said "it's already paid for" and slammed the window shut. We all have bad days, so I tried to disregard that event. However, a week later I needed to go get pizzas for my son's birthday party and a few things came up last minute, one of them being my baby getting a fever. I decided I would have them delivered through DoorDash. I ordered 2 cheese and 3 pepperoni pizzas. Once they arrived, I had 5 cheese pizzas. Never mind that the dash driver wouldn't answer at this point and it's IMPOSSIBLE to contact the company. I double checked the order to make sure I didn't make the mistake and called this papa johns in hopes they would fix it since the receipt was correct. Not only was manager SO short and rude (probably the same guy from the window), but he may as well have said, "I really don't care." ...Told me I shouldn't use DoorDash and it's their issue since I used them, even though PJ won't deliver to us only a few miles away.
