Best burrito shop in Snyder. Local business, but they treat you like family.

In the beginning, they went by "Dee's Agape Love Burritos." Their tortillas are homemade and favorites like the carne guisada burrito are an oilfield staple out on the SACROC.

Sister's Plaza has been around since the 1980's at the very least. It's a diner that is known for…read moreits breakfast, ultra-regulars and randoms from nearby Interstate 84. They work normal hours now, but the Plaza was once a 24hour hangout/hideaway where the great legends of Snyder's nightlife would rendezvous. Smoker's heaven. You can still smoke while you enjoy a 6a.m. coffee, and the staff will make damn sure that you don't take yourself too seriously. If you're into eavesdropping, you can learn all about local weather, ranching, farming, oilfield gossip, etc. The force is strong and the coffee is strong. This is no place for people who don't have a real appreciation for things West Texan.

This is the epitome of a small town diner with one exception, it's a total dump. I did like the…read morefeel of the place just because it was so different than anything I have ever experienced except maybe when I was a kid. This place is an old gas station that still has pumps outside and has a blimpie sign raised above the place. The sandwich shop doesnt exist and the pumps don't work although they still have all the working parts. As you walk in they have a bunch of slots that don't pay money but instead tickets that can go towards food and such.( which is totally wired in my opinion). Half the place still allows smoking and that's the side with all the windows. It's a family owned place and the waitress 5 days of the week is the daughter I guess and with her you never know what your going to get. I tried to order a basted egg well and she said "we don't do that round here you either get it scrambled or over hard or easy" and when she said it I felt a little contempt coming from her. This place is busy though most of the oil workers come in throughout the day and she is the only server so you better time it just right. The place is filthy especially the smoking room and the cook takes forever to cook the food even if he's only cooking for two. My friend won the slots before he knew they didn't pay out cash and he won $150.00 bucks worth so we ate here for five days. The place took me back in time when establishments didn't put customer service first and I feel it was a one in a kind experience only s town Texas could deliver if any thing it left an impression on me for that it gets a two star and not a one. I wouldnt recommend this place to out of towners but only locals that know the people that own it. This place definilty doesn't have the good old Texas hospitality!

Five Stars for the Donuts, Five Million Stars for the Vibes…read more I'm writing this a few days after my visit to Tiger Donuts, and honestly, the positive vibes from that morning are still lingering. I'm someone who will openly admit that being social and putting myself out there isn't exactly my strong suit. I'm not "Mr. Personality," and striking up random conversations in public can be tough for me. But the experience I had here was so genuinely warm that it completely turned my day around. I had dropped in looking for my fave... an Apple Fritter, but they were sold out. So I left. Drove down the street a bit to do a few errands and continue my mission of the morning to find a fritter, but struck out... so I thought about Tiger and the fact that I DID see old fashioned still available... and I really wanted a donut. So I went back... and a sole old-fashioned donut was still there waiting for me... and a chocolate one... my favorite. The older woman running the counter, Connie, was incredibly kind. They must have been getting ready to close up as it was that time, and she ended up giving me the last old-fashioned donut and a chocolate one, and even threw in some donut holes, telling me not to worry about it. It only came out to about 75 cents anyway--which is insanely cheap for donuts these days--but because of her kindness (and because I was already asking a favor about something else), I made sure to leave a tip in the jar. While I was writing my name down on a card because Connie offered to save a fritter and call me the next time they had a fresh batch, the other woman there--who I'm guessing was her daughter--noticed my name. She looked at it and said, "Oh, that's my son's name." I told her she gave her son a great name, and she just smiled and said, "Yeah, it's a strong name." It was just a simple, positive, human interaction, but it meant a lot to me. If you want great donuts and a reminder that there are still incredibly kind, good-hearted people out there, stop by Tiger Donuts. In fact I'm gonna have to extend that a bit (not to take away from the folks at Tiger) to Texas in general... thus far, the people here have a way above average (compared to CA where I am from) friendliness level! It's a nice change. I actually ended up launching my new personal blog, 051878.xyz, with a whole breakdown of this exact experience because it stuck with me so much. Drop by my site if you want to read the full, unfiltered story of how a quick trip for an old-fashioned donut turned into the ultimate positive vibe. Thank you, Connie and team. You've got a customer for life.
