Was driving from San Antonio to Amarillo. Decided to stop at McDonalds. Stopped at this location to be able to stretch , use restroom and get some quick food. Let me say when I say if I coil put 0 stars I would. No greeting from the employees. Y wife and I were standing there waiting to order and didn't even get a well be right with you. Now I understand that McDonald's is pushing for self service in the kiosks. However, you can't seem to customize your order on kiosk so we like to order with a a person. This is the worst McDonald's ever! The manager is so hateful and rude. I even saw her being rude to some older gentleman who was very nice to her. She yells and screams at her employees which makes for a very unpleasant experience inside. The food is terrible, especially the breakfast biscuits! Worst McDonalds Evers we stood there for close to 15 minutes with no acknowledgment of any of the staff of Atleast telling us they'd be us in a bit. I did'nt get my extra sausage patty I paid for With my sausage Egg McMuffin meal. Tried calling the Snyder Texas McDonald's but nobody went to the phone and it was just go to voicemail. And then went back to pick me up some lunch and then asked if I can just have a beef Pattie to substitute for the 1 sausage patty I didn't get but paid for through the mobile app since it was lunch already. I usually avoid McDonald's because they almost never get the order right. I ordered fries with no salt and, of course, fries were old and salty. I ordered a filet of fish sandwich and the fish was so old I could barely chew it. Old as heck and harder than heck. My husband's mcrib sandwiches were placed in the sack on the end so his sandwiches were all smashed to one end. My granddaughters drink was ordered as coke. You sent sprite. Took two of our granddaughters so they could eat and play. They air conditioned play room was like a sauna. They said it was broke and don't know when it would be operational again. We get that, it happens. The staff was not ok. The young man who took our order was loud and said things that just weren't necessary. Then he and the kitchen staff started arguing. The manager was a young man as well who did nothing about the arguing or the levels at which they were doing their arguing. He went to a nearby table and started watching a video on his phone. His volume level was high so much so that our 7 year old granddaughter said, " gee, he should put his headphones on." I promise, I didn't need another reason to not like McDonalds. The employee told me I didn't get a drink when it clearly said I had one then proceeded to complain saying "i can't stand these people" and then I went to get a straw and she followed me and said "i see you rolling your eyes" then proceeded to say "let's take this outside." We got 2 happy meals and some other things. They forgot the drinks, forgot the fries in one happy meal, and this is the amount of fries in the other. This place has gone way down in the service and quality. I should have known better since the last time I went through the drive thru I had to wait 20 minutes to get to the window. There were only 2 cars in front of me. A few of the cars behind me actually ended up leaving because of the wait. When I got to the window, they were doing a shift change or something. Attitude central at this establishment. I get that it's a long day and maybe your shift is almost done or had just started. But why isn't there any curtsy. Usually your trained to greet customers with hello, what can we get started for you? Not what do you want. And then be even more rude at the pay station, and then don't even a greeting at the pick up window, with eyes rolling and huge sighs. I've never once been able to order from this restaurant without there being some major complication or difficulty created by the employees. It feels like everyone is running around like a chicken with its head chopped off. According the managers (Heather), the owner operator is cheap and does not care about customer service - only making money. Stated that he has five stores and is working on getting his sixth. I drive 30 minutes to get here for their playground, fries and ice cream. Yesterday, the issue was NO ICE. Heather told me the entire town was out of ice, which was a blatant lie. I suggested that she get ice delivered from the grocery store located in same parking lot. She told me that the owner could not AFFORD to purchase $100 for his products and customers. Unbelievable that the owner expects 100% payment with 90% product. I asked Heather the reason for the ice cream machine often being broken. She took offense to this and started ranting that I made a false statement. She asked her employees and they told her that in the past two weeks he machine was DOWN at least 12 times. Heather made a scene and implied that I was arguing with her, but I was simply asking her questions. She told me her manager was Pamela Brown - I do not remember exactly. I asked for the owners name but she refused to give it to me. My small order took 25 minutes to complete. I asked about a discount - it was denied. I asked the reason it took 25 minutes to complete my order. HEATHER stated it was my fault because she controls the employees on when to complete the order - so since she was talking to me, all production stopped. Customers started coming into the restaurant because being in drive through line had taken 25 minutes. One customer ordered an ice coffee; they NEVER informed her that they had NO ICE. She walked out without order. I take the kids here for the playground, fries and ice cream. I certainly did not anticipate a debate with freaking Heather Manager who literally shoved her work schedule in my face to prove she works there full time for 5 years. Every time I visit, everyone looks at me but does not ACKNOWLEDGE me. I usually need to ask for help. The employees are unhappy because of the way they are treated by management/Heather, but they need the money. I do not understand how a multi-millionaire McDonald owner operator can be so cheap and disrespectful with his customers. Why does he allow such rude and dishonest people manage his store? Ok. Bad review time. McDonald's is probably use to these it being a big chain and all. Just to add a little context, I was at the Wash Happenin' doing laundry and had 45 minutes to kill waiting on the dryer. I decided to grab a bite to eat and I thought McDonald's would be faster because I have their mobile app. Just FYI, they won't start preparing your food until the app locates you at the restaurant. That really isn't faster after all come to find out. I pull up to the drive the and say that I'm there to pick up mobile order ZG85. The teller says to pull ahead so I do. When at the window, the guy has to ask me what my order consisted of??????? I have to tell him the entire order?????? He has me pull forward to the end of the curb while it gets prepared. Ok, no big deal. It takes them nearly 20 minutes to get it to me?????? When the lady brings it to me, she didn't bring the unsweetened tea I ordered. I try to get her attention by saying "Ma'am". She looks at me and I get ignored because her attention is to answer a question to the vehicle parked directly behind me. I wait a couple of minutes to let her finish talking to the person in that vehicle and when I see her starting back towards the door, I start trying to get her attention again. I end up having to yell "MA'AM" very loudly to get her to stop and get my attention again. I guess she thought I was being rude to her based on the look she gave me and her response of "what do you want sir"?????? That was perhaps the longest I have ever waited through a drive through line for my food. It was 6 on a Friday afternoon, but the parking lot was not packedand we were able to pull straight up to the microphone to order. After having us repeat our order multiple times, we finished ordering and, all told, ended up waiting 15 minutes to get to the final window to pick up our food. Thank god the (very nice) lady at the window double checked our order, because they had gotten my burger completely wrong. What gets me though is the kitchen got me a new one in only about a minute, so I don't understand what was slowing them down so bad. And since the staff didn't ever apologize or mention the wait, I have to assume that's a normal wait there. And after that, my fries werent even hot when I had some straight out of the parking lot. Our hostess very nice and sweet. Food however was undercooked. French fries not cooked all the way. Angus burger very red still on the inside. Another clerk degrading to other clerks and disciplining her son in the restaurant in front of patrons and myself. Not professional. Other clerks trying to avoid the one belligerent clerk.
