I remember coming here a couple of years ago but couldn't remember why I never came back as the place is clean and the staffers I encountered the first time provided good service. Well I guess I remember that the quality of work was subpar. I requested a dip French manicure and French pedicure. The pedicure was not bad and the tech asked me how thin I wanted the white part which was good but as soon as I got in the chair for my manicure, it went downhill from there. I was trying to tell him how I wanted the shape as I'm very particular about my almond shaped nails. Every time I motioned to say something about MY NAILS, he would tap my hand away and dare I say hit my hand, basically telling me to stop and just wait for him to finish. The job was sloppy and not smooth. I was not happy and of course I was way overcharged. I can pay for something if the quality matches the price but this was simply not the case so footing this bill left me sick! By day two, I couldn't believe what my nails looked like and they were already cracking. I never have this issue at my current nail salon. And such a shame because this place is closer to me, NEVER AGAIN.

I get builder gel nails with gel polish, and her work is consistently beautiful, precise, and long-lasting. But what really sets her apart is who she is as a person and professional. She owns the business and somehow manages to do everything at once -- welcoming clients, answering phones, supporting other techs with their clients -- all while giving you her full, undivided attention. She is the most observant and attentive person I've ever met. You never feel rushed, forgotten, or like just another appointment. Over the years, seeing her that often, Monica became a very dear friend. We know each other's lives deeply -- the big things, the small things, the in-between seasons. The white tape they placed under my lashes got stuck to the false lashes and was sealed with glue which was impossible to remove, unless you remove all false lashes and re-do, entirely. When the lady finished, I noticed, and immediately mentioned it to her. She said it would wash off after I showered. The man at the front desk was a witness, and noticed. After noticing, he semi smiled, laughed, and spoke to her in whatever language they speak that wasn't English. I got home, showered, and of course it did not come off. I called that very same day stating that I showered washed my face and it still did not come off. I notified the man who witnessed everything and he told me to come back the next day, so they could fix it. When I came back, the lady tried pulling the white clumps, which did not help. I requested for them to remove the lashes and issue a full refund. They refused, despite the job being done improperly, and the fix being half-done. They said that if I wanted to get them removed I would have to pay. While I understand they have a no refund policy, this was incomplete/poorly done work. They didn't even offer a credit or to redo them. I have bank statements and the date I took this photo to show I am not lying. The table you lay on had a sheet over it that was extremely dirty filled with someone's hair dander. I had to request for them to change the sheet. I should have taken that as a red flag! This place is not new. It's owned by the same people that owned Diamond Nails, because when they charged me, it showed up as their old name before they remodeled the place. They had to change their name because of the terrible reviews they had. They also wrecked my lashes. She trimmed my natural lashes. I'm not sure why, and I noticed when I had lash Bar remove them.
