I went in for a First Time Client promo $99 for Natural Set (normally $170). It was easy making an appt and the lash bar was clean and bright. My lash tech was efficient, it only took her 45 mins to complete my lashes. She did a good job! I just didn't like hearing the phone vibrating every other few mins. It wasn't as relaxing when something is buzzing near by. Aside from that, my experience was great. Only a few lashes fell out after 9 days. Next time I'd go for softer lashes. read more

I wanted to try a lash bar in town, as my go-to bar had closed. The $99 promotional first client for $99 classic lash set caught my eye, so I thought I would give it a try. I love the natural lash, and voiced I didn't want anything too crazy and over the top in length or volume. The girl I had was actually so very sweet and nice, and they switch beauticians halfway through the set. The final results, I was no pleased with, and they were very thick and heavy, they didn't look natural, and they were very uneven. I definitely wouldn't come here again. The salon was clean, and the staff was super friendly, I voiced at the end the lashes were not what I asked for or what I wanted the girl kind of shrugged and said they looked good. When I asked her if there was anything I could do to "settle" them, she said "no, not really" and mentioned you could trim them but wouldn't recommend going this route at all. I am sure there are a lot of people who love this place, but again, I wanted a more natural, organic lash and the set they applied was definitely not the set for me. Loving the lashes I've been getting at Emme lash bar! As an exhausted medical student rotating through hospitals, having my lashes done makes me look more awake and done up. I lack the make-up skills that allow me to do something quickly in the morning so having lash extensions was a perfect solution. The technician was incredibly attentive, periodically checking if I had any discomfort or if anything could be done to make me more comfortable. At my refill session, she took the time to hear how I liked my lashes and if I wanted any changes. I had a weird experience here during my lash lift and tint. While waiting for my appointment to start I noticed another customer with their mask pulled down passed their nose while the woman providing the service also had her past pulled down passed her nose. While I get that it is hard to provide certain services with the mask close to the eyes, this grossed me out since their faces were about 4 inches apart. During my services then woman providing the services also pulled my mask down passed my nose without asking or giving me a heads up. This made me really uncomfortable given what I saw while I was waiting. I explained to the woman providing my services that this was my first time getting a lash tint so I wasn't sure what to expect. She didn't really explain. Before starting she quickly sat me back up, pulled out what looked like an old make up bag, took out an eye lash curler and held it up to my eyes. She did not clean it. She did this so quick that I didn't have a chance to question her or say no. So gross. I've had lash lifts before. An eye lash curler was never used so I found this weird. My mask was pulled down again during the services. I kept pulling it back up. Nothing was explained during the services. I could go on.... Overall, my lash lift and tint came out ok. One eye looks a lot better than the other. In fact, one doesn't even look like it has a lift. Sadly, I didn't notice until I got home. For $130 I will likely not return for this service. read more

I just left an appointment where, after being asked to lower my mask for the lash application, another employee walked in her for shift and coughed and sneezed 5 feet from me for over an hour. She was coughing so hard at one point she went into the bathroom and sounded like she was going to be sick. When I complained, I was told she "just had a tickle on her throat" and had come in anyway and had not taken a covid test. read more

Poor experience at Emme Lash. I have had my lashes done by Ahnnie, the owner on multiple occasions. Her work may be fast yet is compromised with lack of technique. She is trying to churn out clients for fast profit. Unfortunately does not take the time required to maintain lash health. A full lash fill should take longer than 45 min! Lash fans are not evenly dispersed Lash shape is uneven Inner corner of lashes not applied Mismatched lash shape from eye to eye Too heavy (thickness/diameter of lash chosen) lash Even had 2-3 natural lashes glued together, ouch! She chooses heavy thick lashes which makes for a fast job, as the lashes appear deceivingly filled...until a few days go by and a few lashes fall out leaving you with gaps and spaces, in addition to dropping heavy lashes. This ultimately caused premature lash fallout. For the prices charged for her (more than her other techs), I expect higher quality. Not to mention, the studio could be cleaner and friendlier as other reviews have stated. I will not be back. read more

Okay I wish 10 stars was an option!!! This is my favorite place on earth i'm literally obsessed with my lashes every time I leave. I can't even begin to describe how relaxing and gentle it is. Take it from me that I am very sensitive with my eyes being touched but when I tell you that you don't feel a thing I mean it!! I went here for the first time yesterday. The one good thing was that I was able to book online, for that day. The receptionist was extremely friendly and made me feel welcome. When arriving i immediately noticed that the space was dirty. There were q-tips and trash on the floor. The carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed....maybe ever. the tech was late for our appointment, which is extra annoying because its not like another appt. ran late, she just did't arrive on time. The lash lift itself was fine, I don't feel like it made much a difference for the amount of money it cost. Also when paying I had to venmo the tech a tip- I found this to be very weird, especially since the name one venmo was not the name she was using at work. Overall I was unimpressed, and will not be back. read more

I am updating my review as the lash bar has contacted me and made arrangements to fix this issue. Giving them 5 stars for being able to take feedback, accommodating and resolving client issues on a timely manner. Reposting from my google review so that Yelp can see as well. I decided to try out this lash spa due to my usual place being fully booked and also because I read the good reviews. my lash artist was sweet and nice to talk to, she did come off as a little unprofessional (she said she needed to make a quick phone call while I was already laying on the bed and did it there, didn't go into the break room to make it) just saying it's unprofessional because I'm an esthetician too, I work at a spa and I would not do that in front of a client, but I guess they do things differently at emme lash bar. To be honest, I wasn't satisfied with the end results of my lashes, I was surprised because there are so many good reviews of the lash artist who did my lashes. They just looked messy, and I noticed I had a few lashes with no lash extensions attached to them. I did not say anything to the lash artist at end of appt because she was already running late for her next client, she ran late for me too but I understand this does happen at times. The lashes looked like they were applied because she was rushing, they didn't look as full as they usually look when I get an hour fill, I know she had to remove some lashes, but there were so many lashes that still didn't have an extension attached... so... then I had tried two times today to contact the lash bar about the recent appt I had, through venmo and their website, someone responded through text message and asked what I needed help with but never responded back once I told them of my situation. I was trying to be nice about it but I just find it very frustrating at the lack of customer service. I understand it's Sunday and perhaps there's not a front desk to help out because when I came in today, there was nobody at the desk and the lash girls were checking out their clients.. so if that's the case.. how does this spa even run their business... on... a Sunday... if no front desk is there to help out clients? Because a potential client came in while I was waiting to inquire about services and no front desk, so all the lash artist said was "look on a website" lol I'm not sure if I'll be returning here, but this is my experience and hopefully others will have a better experience than me. read more
