Forgot to add the part where I had eye makeup on and she was super nice about it and just simply asked me to help her take it off in the bathroom (that House of Lash glue don't play!). I actually really like how the lashes looked this time and its been 3 weeks and the retention on these lashes are truly amazing! Glad I came back!! (I went for an open eye look with wispy volume) I would totally give this place a try!

After the one week , I have a gap on the left eye (very minor) but quite noticeable. So I called The salon in order to fill in the few missing hairs. I arrive at the Quincy lash salon and I ask Jenny if she can just fill in the few lashes that were missing. She tells me I need to do a refill for $70 dollars. She continued to say that after two weeks the fill is $80, (it's only been a week so I'm thinking it will be half of what you would pay for two weeks) (would've made more sense. I mentioned I don't need a refill yet, just a touch up of the 4-5 hairs. Literally. Lastly, she ends up actually doing a refill (which I did not need) mounds of glue and extra lashes that I did not need is what I ended up with! Lashes are so stiff at this point that I can't even blink without feeling like my own lashes are scratching my eyeballs. So uncomfortable. When all she had to do was follow the instructions of just a few lashes that I've requested. I felt that this salon was a bit money hungry. If you treat your clients correctly and listen to the style they are looking for, you would have a returning client. Now, because my real lashes have fallen off too, I'm not sure if I'll ever get lashes done again. Watch out ladies.

Until recently my lashes have been just falling off after a few days! I pay so much every two weeks to have them filled and then to be told I have to pay $75 in between to have them fixed! That is NOT a company that cares about their clients and the quality of their work! It doesn't matter if the " lashes are too heavy" the lash tech should determine that and know not to put on if my natural lashes can't hold it! I don't know if the glue and lashes have changed to cheapen the cost but something has! They don't just start to fall out , out of the blue after a few days! I am shocked that money is more Important to the owner than retaining her long time loyal customer! I will find a place to spend my $ that actually cares!!! To tell a customer " you can come in and pay $75 to have them fixed is absurd! My Response: I already told you I was going elsewhere Lauren. You know how much $ I've spent in past 2 years at your business. I'm really surprised at how it was handled. If my husband does a job and the door knob falls off he doesn't " charge " an absurd fee to fix it" he wants his clients to be happy. Shay didn't recommend a lighter lash until it happened more than once. That policy is nowhere on your site , and it's not like the tech doesn't get a tip etc, I've offered to pay she said " no worries" . But to want to charge $85 in between 2 week lash appointments for lashes that just start falling out is just ridiculous! And I love that she wants to make sure that all of her students has the experience of one on one time with her, so she makes sure that the classes are small enough for you so you can have a great understanding of not only applications, health, techniques but the business aspect of it. Moving forward I have been doing countless hours of training on my own and I finally wanted to take a leap of faith and apply lashes to a live model. I called samara to see if she would be able to help me with this and without hesitation she replied yes. I love that she is always available for her students. Also if I have any questions or concerns she is right there with me. This is a journey and she makes me feel like she is on this journey with me. I had Tessa and re-booked with her for my next appointment in 6 weeks. The waxing is only as painful as it has to be (you are ripping hair off of your Britney, what else do you expect?) However, I've had a number of these done and found this one to be one of the least painful in my experience. It was quick - less than thirty minutes and more thorough than most places are. I created an "account" and then she also did my eyebrows. I did not have an appointment, they were able to accommodate a walk in. I like that eyebrows are plucked here, instead of threaded or waxed - seemed like less of a risk to make a big mistake. It did not hurt at all and I was very comfortable throughout it all since its in a reclining chair. After about 10 minutes, the service was complete. I paid $28 at their front desk, and was on my way. It is on the expensive side, but I think for the quality of work, it is worth it. I also find that the hair grows back slower which can be good if you don't want to pay so frequently. The salon was very clean, very quiet which fostered a relaxing environment, and they offer a lot more services.
