Based on my experience with Hardscape Contractors, I strongly recommend anyone wanting a pond in…read moretheir yard to avoid working with them. Here's why: They do not stand behind the work, and do not care about the problems and expense their shoddy constructions cause for the customer. Be smarter about your pond than I was about mine, and find a true pond expert who can do right by you from the very beginning. Beginning the first month after the pond Hardscape Contractors built was completed, there has been a steady stream of proof that they didn't know what they were doing and had no plan for the people they hired to follow. I now know, based on what I have personally fixed and what I have had others fix, that they installed the liner incorrectly and cut it in the wrong places, used the wrong filter box for a pond, did not protect the liner from rodents, and hired contractors with no pond experience who didn't know the appropriate way to make sure the pond liner was installed in such a way as to prevent leaks. Based on my experience with them, Hardscape Contractors apparently does not make sure that the people they hire to do the work you pay for know what they are doing, or have even done it before. The first leak I found was caused by the liner being cut short of the waterfall box. This of course meant water found its way under the liner and out into the yard. The next leak I found was a similar situation of the liner being cut short on the edge of the waterway where water flowed from the waterfall down to the pond. Larger underground leaks took over a year to show up, because it takes that long for water that leaks out the sides and bottom of the pond to build up sediment under the liner on the bottom of the pond, which then causes the liner to balloon up, displacing whatever rock is on top of it and ballooning into an ever larger growth as more water leaks into it. (see photo) Hardscape Contractors' pattern of behavior when I contacted them was to ignore, delay, deny. When Mike and Scott at long last came to see the pond for themselves, they left saying they'd "see if their pond guy" could come take a look. That was 2 May 2025 -- and despite me contacting them several times afterward, they still have never followed through. Do yourself a favor and choose someone to build your pond who not only has all the right knowledge to do it correctly, but does it as a serious profession, has loads of experience, and is an honorable person who stands behind their work. Hiring Hardscape Contractors is not a wise financial decision. There are pond professionals who warranty their work - choose them instead. There is one star in the rating because Yelp does not let a review be posted with zero.

I'll never use them again. Hired them to remove a wood…read moredeck, put in some stairs and landing replacing it. Then put in a paver patio, The deck part was mostly ok. Then the paver guys came in. First thing they did was cut a 6xx6 support on the stairs that were put in 2 days before for some reason. The contractor was out that day and I talked to him. They came out and put in some more concrete and a new post. Not sure the concrete goes below grade. Paver job is just ok but not for the amount of money I paid. I had them come back and redo one of the corners. They sort of finished the sanding of the pavers but there are some voids between the bricks. Should be completely filled on a brand new job. Finally, took me a few days to notice today. When they leveled the paver area, they raised my air conditioner unit a few inches. Left it on top of river rock and a brick. It rocks now. I texted them a picture. I'll update this review either good or bad tomorrow,
