I had an excellent experience with Top Gun Roofing this week and wanted to share it…read more I began replacing the asphalt shingles on my backyard shed, which has a hip roof, but after removing a large section of the old shingles, I realized I did not feel safe working on the sloped roof. I decided to hire a professional and called Top Gun Roofing, a local company in Olmsted Falls. The owner, John Ferguson, answered and listened to my situation. He understood the urgency and agreed to finish the job I had started. To my surprise, he arrived within three hours and worked alone until dusk, then returned the next morning to complete the project. John did excellent work at a reasonable price, and his cleanup was impeccable, leaving no debris behind. The new shed roof looks great. He was skilled, professional, friendly, and courteous. Although the job was small, he handled it with care and completed it promptly. I would readily recommend Top Gun Roofing to anyone who needs a new roof or roof repair.

Our neighbor was very happy with her new siding and roof and highly recommended Sure Roof to us. Tony came out to our house within days and had new plans sent to our insurance company. He did all further communication and negotiations with our insurance adjuster and the process began quickly. Orlando was the person who handled the everyday rebuild of the garage and interior work. The team showed up as scheduled, working Saturdays and sometimes well into the evenings. I always knew the game plan and was updated several times a day. My home was left as clean as possible, the craftsmanship is meticulous, and the team went above and beyond to get us back into our home. Orlando and Tony keep everything moving smoothly and efficiently. There were so many awesome tradesmen: Ted (or T.J.) and his team was amazing with the windows and siding; Don the interior painter is a perfectionist. Their team has longevity and good working relationships. Above all, we were treated like family.

From start to finish Mike facilitated the process and made sure it went without a hitch. Having never replaced a roof or worked with insurance to cover wind damage, I didn't know where to begin. Mike worked with the insurance adjuster and looked out for my interests at every turn. The team removed the old roof and installed a gorgeous new roof in one day! They cleaned up every last scrap and nail, and provided beautiful drone pictures of both the process and the end product. I requested commercial sized gutters with screens. They added flash barriers for points where the roof pitch could result in excess flow. My father has called twice to tell me how impressed he was with the workmanship, service and end result. Honestly, Kearns roofing and Mike Nicely were so good and efficient, I worried it was a scam and I was going to be stuck with a terrible bill. In the end, it cost me LESS than estimated because Mike did a great job working with the insurance company! He saved me thousands of dollars and the quality of work is exceptional. I could not be happier. Thank you, Kearns Roofing and especially Mike Nicely! You live up to your name.

Carrieri Construction was the 4th contractor company I had hired for a full renovation of my…read morekitchen, living room, foyer, laundry room and guest bathroom. The previous 3 contractors did not work out for various reasons which aren't relevant for this review. I got Mike's information from my Dad whom had a chance to see Mike Carrieri's work first hand at his neighbors house, so he got the Dad stamp of approval. Mike came out took a look at the work I wanted done and immediately started asking questions and figuring out what the tricky items would be, something none of the other contractors had done. I was impressed by his knowledge and understanding of the various intricacies of this job. It was not only a full gut down to the studs but the plumbing lines were all in the slab as well as all the ductwork so jack hammering up the slab was not an option. Mike was able to figure out a solution in a few minutes and solved an issue that 2 of the other contractors just shook their heads at. Mike started work in November of 2021 on my home which was built in the late 50's early 60's and we quickly discovered multiple unplanned for issues like walls not being plumb, slab floor sloping in multiple directions causing height differences of over an inch between floor and ceiling, and the electrical was a disaster. Mike took all this in stride and just figured out a solution for each problem as it came up. I had heard horror stories of contractors just walking away from a job mid construction because the job was too difficult and I can honestly say I was nervous that would happen as more and more problems and delays, none of which were Mike's fault, occurred but he just took them in stride and said once he starts a job he will finish it and he was good to his word. In full transparency, he even mentioned that my house was one of the worst he had ever worked on in his many years of construction and the electrician agreed. Mike was really good about communicating about his schedule and if an emergency job came up that would cause him to arrive late or anything else. He also always took progress photos of the jobs and was really good about keeping the house as clean as possible. I was still living in the house with my 2 dogs during this entire renovation and each night before he left he would make sure the site was clean and as dog friendly as possible just in case they got out. He is also an extremely dog friendly person, which while not relevant to his aptitude as a contractor says a lot about his personality. The original job was only supposed to last 3 month but my kitchen cabinets (ordered from a kitchen cabinet store) arrived in December and were just garbage, broken, scratched, and quality was not what it should have been. It took 8+ months to order those and I was very distraught at the condition of these cabinets and knew I wouldn't be happy if we used them but we also couldn't wait another 8 months to 1 year to get more. Mike is an associate with Cabinets.com and was able to help me order all new cabinets and get them expedited not only saving me thousands of dollars but also getting them in 3 months. This caused an obviously delay in the project as its hard to have a kitchen without any cabinets but Mike just continued with the other work that could be done and when we got to a point where we couldn't do anymore he picked up a few side jobs while we waited for the cabinets to come in. He continued to keep me updated on when the cabinets would arrive and even rearranged his schedule so he could pick up my job again and complete it once the cabinets arrived. I can say that Mike has an amazing work ethic and even stopped by after hours or on the weekend if anything stopped working or went wrong. I got a new tankless water heater installed by a different company and there ended up being several small issues with the installation and use of it. Mike was always willing to answer any questions and even check on things with it. At one point we thought there might be a gas leak and Mike helped me check all the connections just to make sure nothing was leaking. I can continue to give many examples of how good of a contractor Mike is but I think the biggest compliment I can give is that after what was supposed to be a pretty straightforward 3 month renovation that ended up lasting 6+ months and had multiple problems, I was so thrilled with the final result that I am having Mike renovate the rest of my house in 2023. My friends, family and neighbors have also asked for Mike's information after seeing the renovation and the quality of work that was done. I can't recommend Mike enough and would give him 10 stars if possible.

The home we purchased needed a new roof and also had a ventilation fan to exhaust air. When we hired Glenn, he recommended to have Ridge vents installed. He quotes 4 sheets of plywood incase of any soft spots or damage area's that may need replaced. We asked to have the fan removed "covered over" with the supplied plywood, which he assured us that would be no problem. He promised 10 Year Workmanship warranty. My home has been extremely cold since he installed the roof which was installed late 2024. On the day of installation, his supplier ABC did not show up at the time he told us. When it did show up, one of his workers who was from Guatemala, had an accident occur on my roof. On top of the accident, one of the men's wife with a newborn baby, was in my backyard nursing the baby. They consistently had to use my restroom. In addition to the roof I added gutter guards which Glenn himself installed. Glenn showed up twice to my home. The start date of the install, and the final day to collect his check. When they were done I went up to check my gutter guards which were a premium gutter-guards and noticed how sloppy they were installed. He blamed my gutters for why they looked the way they did. Never the less as a good gesture, he promised he would come back and install gutter clips as he said ice may strain the front stretch of my gutters above my garage. This never happened. His workers left a fullsheet of plywood and extra shingles, which they said they would come back for. They are still there. He has never once kept his word. He consistently will say he will arrive on a date and never shows up. In August 2025, I noticed that the box fan casing, which was supposed to be removed, was still there. Again, he promised a date and again never showed. This past week Wednesday Feb 25th ,2026 I had to go into my attic to install fiber lines for my home network, and to my surprise, the box vent was never covered left completely opened to the elements! He never removed the box vent which caused major frustration ; however I reached out to him yet again! Providing photo evidence of this. The insulation of my attic is wet. From 2024-2026 snow, rain, roofing debris, insects, birds, squirrels were able to nest in my attic. He responded to my text this past Wednesday February 25th, 2026. He would come either Friday February 27th or Monday March 2nd. Guess what! Nothing. He ignored my text today on when we can expect him. I have all of the proof. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HIM!
