These items were just average and only luke warm as was the biscuit (from a choice of about 5 bread options). Had the sides been hot and a little more flavorful, I would have given 5 stars. For vegetarians and all-day breakfast eaters, Cooper Pot is your place; so much to choose from on their menu. Vegans might struggle as most southern cooking includes dairy and it looks as if they cook their sides in large quantities and keep them in a warmer to serve. My wife had the tomato pie while enjoyed the shrimp and grits. The light and lemony albarino was a great pairing. Seth our server Seth was fabulous and very attentive. The view on 4th Street was not super hot. They had fans that were at our feet made the weather pleasant and the people watching was interesting. We will surely return soon. Make this a must visit.

Before I moved to NC in late 21 Hardee's was my favorite. It seems others agree its very noticeable if you go in the morning at this location because Biscuitville parking lot will be overpacked while Hardee's next door only has a few cars here and there. Both are great restaurants, biscuitville is just on a totally different level when it comes to breakfast. Back to my one complaint, the chaos; there is no clear system in place and when the place is packed it's hard to determine where the line starts or exactly how it moving both inside and drive-thru. It is often so congested with lack of proper lay out or communication that customers are left to develop their own systems which does not end well. I don't go when it's like that anymore for this reason. I do take advantage when is not congested.

The cornbread was deliciously moist and sweet. The portions are amply sized. I didn't leave room for dessert, but we took a couple home, the banana pudding and apple cobbler. I'd order them again. There is clearly a not-so-secret ingredient in each meal; it's named TLC. I really think each meal we had was prepared as if we were more than just customers, but family members. Hot foods were served hot, cold foods were served cold. Beverages were refilled as needed. The restaurant: It's not the fanciest, but the "front of the house" is clean and orderly. The music, mostly from the 1960's oldies playlist, was great to listen to and volume was not obtrusive at all. The bathrooms are very clean. The parking lot is gravel but there's plenty of room.
