She had me come in to try on my dress so she could take measurements. Her office is small, but she has a changing area in the back corner. She had me try on dress for her and stand on a platform while she pinned. She worked quickly but diligently to pin it all up. I paid her when I dropped off my dress and she gave me a ticket to pick it up. The cost was $80, which I was a bit surprised, i thought it was going to be more, because there were several layers to the dress. I don't get gowns hemmed all the time so I'm not sure if thats comparable or not, but I was satisfied. I dropped off my dress July 6th, and I needed it by September 1st, she scheduled me to come back and pick it up August 10th. The week of August 10th rolls around and I called to confirm the pick up and I had to change the time. She said that was fine, and then let me know that she had to take my dress to dry cleaners, because during alterations it got some sewing machine oil on it. She took care of the cleaning though, and I didn't notice anything wrong with it when I tried it on at home. Thank you Maral for your work!

That was 7+ years ago. I don't know how people afford what I can only imagine are prices for clothes now. Okay, so I had 10 round white tablecloths that were laundered and all I needed was to have them pressed. I called to ask the price and how long it would take. The response: "$26 and one week for one, for 10 you're looking at close to 2 weeks." Seriously?! Wow. I didn't call around to see if that is the going rate. I just decided to iron them myself.

I had them alter two pairs of slacks (they are golf pants technically, but look like slacks only super comfy and stretchy). they had me try them on and pinned it a bit tighter. I also asked for them to close up the back pocket because it just didn't look clean. I got them back and I couldn't even tell they did anything. it was seamless and very well done. they fit great now! ok truly grateful for the quality and it's nice as I continue to get use to the changes my body has gone through after finding my new norm from ha being a kiddo.
