Claire handled putting together a gorgeous design brief based on inspiration photos we gathered, which definitely helped as we went through the process of selecting and working with vendors--all of whom were also incredible! An important thing I also want to mention is that I had a sudden health issue flare up partway through our venue search, which set things back by a year. The team was incredibly understanding and checked in periodically while offering well wishes until I was ready to return to planning, and I deeply appreciate how patient they all were during such a difficult time. She'll even call you instead if she thinks it would be more efficient. 2) Preferred planner with our venue. She worked insanely well with our venue coordinator, which smoothed over so many details we didn't even need to be there for. 3) Mom energy. Jessica made sure my husband and I had everything we needed and more during the events - food, water, rest, shade, phones, you name it. She was super patient and respectful with accommodating our parents' requests, too. 4) Management capability. We had a big fat South Asian wedding consisting of 4 events over 2 days with a thousand moving parts. Jessica coordinated all the vendor contracts and on-site set up. She and her husband themselves were present for the duration of all events, which made all the difference. This is the person you want when something goes wrong. From having an emergency photographer on speed dial to adjusting the timeline on the spot, Jessica kept things in motion. She brought our visions to life, whether it was through decor mockups, adding sticker decals to our welcome mirror, or negotiating quotes and extra setup time & venue space. My most favorite memory is Jessica texting me photos and videos of the Baraat celebration, which the bride is not part of. Our family has made a connection with Jessica for life, even far beyond the wedding.

Since our venue did not provide any services, we hired all of our own vendors. 3LB was essential in ensuring everyone was coordinated and in place on the wedding day. Additionally, because we used their rental equipment, their staff ensured everything was set up exactly according to our instructions. I want to specifically highlight our wedding day coordinator, Jennifer. She was terrific and served as a calming influence throughout the day, ensuring everyone was where they needed to be. I cannot recommend Three Little Birds enough. To anyone considering their services: do yourself a favor and hire this team; you won't be disappointed.

Our experience started when I reached out to Jimmy around February 2026 about having our wedding…read morethat July. We knew it was a short timeline, but Jimmy was incredibly accommodating and immediately made us feel like they would be happy to work with us. At that point, the only thing we had selected was our venue. Other than that, we honestly had no idea where to begin, what needed to be done, or which vendors to choose. Just thinking about everything involved was overwhelming and stressful. After we officially began working with JK Wedding Events, Jimmy, the founder, introduced us to our wedding coordinator, April Lee. Because of the short timeline, my wife and I felt extremely rushed and were constantly thinking, "How are we going to get all of this done?" But Jimmy and April continually reassured us that everything would be okay--and they were right. What we appreciated most was that they never made us feel pressured or bossed around. Instead, they guided us with the heart of a teacher. They patiently walked alongside us, explained what needed to happen, and helped us make decisions throughout the entire process. That was exactly what we were looking for. They helped us navigate practically every major vendor decision, including photography and videography, hair and makeup, catering, flowers, draping, tableware rentals, our wedding cake, and even recommendations for wedding dresses and tuxedos. Honestly, if my wife and I had tried to research and coordinate all of those vendors by ourselves, it probably would have caused so many headaches and arguments that we might not have had a wedding at all! Of course, planning any wedding will come with some ups and downs, but JK Wedding Events minimized the stress as much as anyone possibly could. When our wedding day finally arrived in July 2026, everything was on point. All of the vendors understood the plan, everything was executed smoothly, and April did an amazing job keeping the day on schedule and making sure everything continued flowing without any issues. Jimmy also served as our MC and DJ during the reception, and he was fantastic! He kept our guests engaged, entertained, and laughing while maintaining a fun atmosphere throughout the night. His music selections kept everyone enjoying the vibe and made the celebration even more memorable. It has now been about a month since our wedding, and I am finally catching up and writing this review because JK Wedding Events absolutely deserves the recognition. Whether you need help planning your wedding from the very beginning, finding a venue, selecting vendors, or coordinating any other part of the process, I highly recommend reaching out to Jimmy and the JK Wedding Events team. They will take a tremendous amount of pressure off you during what can otherwise be a very stressful process. We planned an out-of-town wedding which is already stressful but Candice was our main point of contact for all the vendors and handled everything so smoothly. I'm not gonna lie, we were totally procrastinating on certain things but she is so incredibly organized and communicative that she kept us on top of it all without making us feel overwhelmed. She knows her stuff inside and out. She constantly went so far out of her way for us. When we flew into town to meet with vendors, our schedule was packed. The cake place was way too far away for us to make it so Candice literally drove out of her way to go pick up the cake samplers and bring them to us to take home just so we wouldn't miss out. Two days before the wedding, I was spiraling bc I thought our seating chart signage and menus weren't going to arrive in time. Candice immediately jumped in with a backup plan to fix it. Thank goodness they did arrive but we had a back up plan just in case. And the actual wedding day? She was a total rockstar!! Everything felt completely seamless. Even our guests and wedding party were pulling us aside to say how impressed they were by how professional and amazing her and her team were. Hiring Candice was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and we genuinely cannot imagine having gone through this experience without her. We booked the Whole Milk package and started working with Candice about ten months before our wedding. From the very beginning, she made the entire planning process feel incredibly smooth, organized, and easy. Wedding planning can involve an overwhelming number of decisions and moving pieces, but with Candice, we always felt like everything was under control. One of the biggest advantages of working with Candice is her incredible network and relationships with vendors throughout the LA area. She works with truly top-notch, high-quality people, and it is so clear how much her vendors respect and enjoy working with her. She stays in constant communication with everyone throughout the planning process and, as the wedding approaches, coordinates all of the details between vendors. Candice is also unbelievably organized and detail-oriented. The wedding-day timeline she created for us was incredibly comprehensive. She thought through things we never would have even considered and had every little detail accounted for. She also has an amazing eye for design and helped us create a wedding that was more beautiful than we could have imagined, while always making sure that our own tastes and preferences were at the center of every decision. She gives great advice and guidance without ever making you feel like there is a "right" way you have to do something. We received SO many compliments on how beautiful our wedding was and design of everything and that so many details were thought of to make the guest experience wonderful. As amazing as she was throughout the planning process, the wedding day itself is where Candice truly shined. She took care of absolutely everything. She has such a calm, easygoing presence that somehow makes you feel like there is genuinely nothing you need to worry about. We were able to be completely present and enjoy our wedding because we knew Candice was behind the scenes making sure every detail was handled. Our families absolutely adored her as well. By the end of the night, everyone could see how invested she was in our wedding and just how much work she had put into making the day perfect for us. She went above and beyond in so many ways, especially at the end of the night, taking care of countless little things for us that we hadn't even thought about. After working together for almost a year, we felt so much trust in Candice, and by our wedding day, she felt like such an important part of the experience. Our wedding was everything we dreamed it would be, and so much of that is because of Candice. We would hire her again in a heartbeat and recommend Candice and Milk Events without hesitation. Truly the best.

That and after asking every one of my married friends what their #1 piece of advice would be, they all replied to hire a wedding planner. Luckily, we were able to meet Jennifer Huie who came highly recommended from one of the weddings we attended (my wife was a bridesmaid) and the way the wedding flowed from activity to activity was really smooth. Also a recommendation from our good friends didn't hurt. So we reached out to Jennifer and we all meet at a cafe and Jennifer was eager and ready to work. She asked the appropriate questions, the general vibe we wanted for our wedding, and gained a good perspective of who we were as a couple. Throughout the months, she was on top of everything as well as being always available to answer any questions and getting any requests we needed as we prepared for our wedding. Also, Jennifer nailed the venue we wanted which to this day, our guests tell us is the prettiest wedding venue they've ever seen. Well played Jenn. Now I thought Jennifer was on top of things pre-wedding because she had a beautiful laid out plan through Google Sheets and she had made sure all the vendors had come together as one to celebrate our special day. The amount of organization and attention to detail for something like this is not easy and she made it look effortless. Once we filled out what we needed to fill out like guest information (contact information, allergies, etc), table placements and all the other items, she was quick to look over what we had and provide any edits or advice on anything and everything. Pre-wedding Jennifer is a superstar. Wedding day Jennifer? Absolute beast. Every T is crossed, every I is dotted and with emphasis and enthusiasm. Our rehearsal went smooth and she was always receptive to hear what we wanted and as everything flowed, she could steer everything to make sure it did just that. Wedding day, the event couldn't have gone more perfectly. All those months of planning finally turned into the greatest night of our lives. Not just ours as the wedding couple, but our wedding party, our family and all our friends. Jennifer hasn't heard this yet but as she reads this review, all the family and friends could not get over how the day was just so seamless from each event to the next. We, the wedding couple never felt an ounce of stress. I'm sure Jenn shouldered that entire load but she never showed it and she was always able to give us updates for everything that was going on. But the job isn't easy, especially for an event like ours which had almost 200 guests. Anyone who is still reading this review should know I could go on and on and I wish I could. Not enough words can emphasize what Jennifer meant to our wedding. We obviously wanted her to join in on the festivities of open bar and open bar and open bar but she stayed late to make sure all our belongings were recovered and the entire venue was cleaned up and properly prepared for the next day's wedding that was taking place Sunday. Thank you Jennifer, from both of our families and our entire wedding party. We hope you were able to have fun and sit back and be proud of the work you did for our wedding because when we were sitting at our sweethearts' table and could soak in what memories we were gaining, we were on cloud nine and couldn't have been more grateful.
