Replaced drain stack inside wall. They cut out sheetrock to gain access to the cast iron pipe. We are responsible for the sheetrock repairs. They provided pictures of the process which was great. My only complaint is they left the sheet rock they cut out behind and did not clean up very well. I had to clean up after them. read more

The folks are Dean's are responsive, responsible, and competitive. Integrity is a big deal to them and I appreciate that.

Our toilet stopped working in the middle of summer, and so we called Deans to come out to take a look at it. They showed up by the next day, and the technician was able to take care of the problem super quickly! He was very informative and explained everything in detail, and was also very friendly and knowledgable. Definitely recommend them! read more

Orlando came and fixed my bathroom sink. He showed me what was wrong and how he was going to fix it. He was professional and did a good job. He maintained a safe distance and wore his mask which I appreciated. Will use them again. read more

My water heater pilot wasn't lighting, so I called for a free in-Home estimate... thought that was awesome. They said they could try replacing the pilot assembly, otherwise I needed a new water heater, and quoted me for both. After they left my house for 45 minutes to 'go get the part', they went back into the attic for a bit, then I was told that I needed a new water heater for $1,550! So I decided to try a different plumber. They came out and replaced the pilot assembly and I had hot water again. Not sure what the other guys were doing up there, or where they went for 45 minutes, but they were definitely trying to rip me off! read more

Tech showed up on time - very courteous. I had a slow drip leak under my kitchen sink. He quickly determined that the water filter line was the problem and had the problem fixed in minutes. Fast, efficient and professional. I highly recommend them. read more

I had a leak recently at my house and had a hard time finding a plumber to come out. Initially I tried roto-rooter and they gave me the run around and never sent someone out when they said they would. Dean's plumbing sent out a plumber during the time window they said they would. Julio located the problem and explained what needed to be done. He completed the repairs after purchasing parts and made a few suggestions for improving my plumbing system. Overall I was very pleased with the service. The only reason I give them 4 stars is because the pricing is on the higher side. read more

This company is great. The staff handles the customer's needs professionally, I will recommend to my friends

Loved how they showed up promptly. This was a second time I have used them. They always explain your options and try to find a solution that fits your needs and budget. Highly recommend. read more

Billy came out and found where the leak was coming from. He ran the camera on both side of the house, cleaned out my sewer line and got the plumbing back working. He was very nice and professional and also was able to give me a quote of what needed to be fixed. He showed me the videos on what he found in my pipelines and gave me a quote. I was really impress. read more

Not thorough. Had a plumbing issue. Got a second opinion and realized that the problem was misdiagnosed. So glad I got a second opinion. Floor was scratched up and they knocked off some from their initial charge in trying to find the problem. I just wish they had run their camera much further to rule out all problems and been more thorough. read more

Where other plumbers struggled, Deans plumbing knocked out a clogged laundry drain with ease. Def using them for any other home plumbing issues read more

We just had Billy and Jet come out and get us out of a REALLY tight spot. We had a pipe burst during this winter storm and we were on a waiting list for another plumber for over a week. I called Dean's this afternoon and they were out here two hours later. Amazing! Just a short while later and we have running water again THE SAME DAY. I can't say enough how pleased I am with these guys. Billy and Jet were super personable and walked us through the whole process. I will be calling them for all my plumbing needs in the future. read more

I had a small water leak hidden inside wall. Called multiple plumbers for quote, and they were either unable to pinpoint the leak, or too afraid to cut the drywall. Dean's people came, located the leak, cut the wall, and repaired the damaged pipe. They charged steep price but they got the job done in time. read more

Excellent service and more than fair price. After seeing my issue (master shutoff valve and box replacement), options were offered, questions were answered, prices were quoted, and timeline was fast. Their technicians are qualified, professional and thorough. Give them a call! Jeff read more

I'm very satisfied with the plumber and apprentice. They were both professional, courteous and did high quality work. My only disappointment was to find out how much the parts were marked up over jobber's and even retail costs. I would rather have been given a list of the items needed and then gone to Home Depot myself to purchase them to be able to save some money. At the time I was so concerned about quickly having my hot water heater replaced that I didn't think to ask for that option and the option wasn't offered. I'd also like to compliment the office receptionist. She was very friendly, courteous and helpful. read more

This is the second time using Dean's service and have been very pleased both times. They sent the same plumbing technician which was a plus because not only does he do great work, he makes sure you know what coverages are included, and he is very kind and has a great personality. They installed a new kitchen faucet, reinstalled a half bathroom sink and toilet that were removed during restoration resulting from the February winter ice storm. I would definitely recommend this company to others. And, like all plumbing companies, the work can be costly but it is reasonable. read more

I had a bad experience with Dean's in April and decided to report it and write a negative review to Yelp on Nov 1. The owner of the company called me and discussed the issue and offered restitution. I have used the company previously and was very upset about the problem from April but am now satisfied that this was a legitimate error. I will again use this company. read more

Called Dean's Plumbing due to a leaking bathtub faucet, and they came onsite to give a free estimate. Tony Brown was the professional that was dispatched. Tony was punctual for our appointment and provided me options to fix the job. The job was completed and we are happy with the work. However, I also want to compliment the fact that Tony and his partner took extra precautions to social distance themselves from my family and me during this repair. He requested that I use my own pen to sign for the bill, they both wore gloves and masks, and they limited their interactions with us. I chose Dean's Plumbing because they had good reviews and it is a veteran-owned business, but I will choose Dean's again because of the experience we had with Tony. **The extra precautions regarding sanitation were so important due to the COVID 19 pandemic. read more

If you live in the DFW area and need a Plumber, call this company first. No games, they will come out for minimum fee and give you a quote, as well as keep you updated throughout the process. Customer Service from start to finish is Outstanding!!!!!! read more

They were easy to reach out to and schedule appointment via YELP. The plumber (Orlando) arrived on time and was very polite and wore PPE during the entire visit. He predicted what the problem was pretty quickly, but quoted $250 to take it apart to accurately diagnose the problem. He explained that amount would be applied to repair cost so we proceeded. The estimate and diagnosis were accurate and the work was completed. He was really great to work with. This was my first time using Dean's and I went with them because of great YELP reviews. I join in with the other happy customers and recommend them! read more

We had damaged a pipe while attempting to replace an outdoor water spigot ourselves and needed it repaired quickly so we could restore water running to the house. I requested a quote on Yelp and they quickly responded and sent someone out within the hour. Between us reaching out and them completing the job was less than 2 hours altogether. Very professional, reasonably priced, and awesome customer service! read more

Excellent job from the team, Jet T. and Austin, that were dispatched to my condo for a leaking pipe due to the freeze in Feb. From the onset of scheduling an appointment in a "high demand" window these guys were professional, communicative, efficient, and thorough! Thanks to Dean's Plumbing and John Martinez again. Had toilet flange replaced in upstairs bathroom on 3/8/21 (see previous review) and I was so impressed with John's workmanship, friendliness and knowledge that I had him too replace another toilet flange in downstairs bathroom today, 3/17/21. Their price(s) are reasonable . . . and John is no joke; he's the MAN!!!!!!! Thank y'all so much for coming into my life. Dean's Plumbing now have a customer for life. read more

I called because my water heater was only delivering tepid water. I expected a diagnosis. The technicians that came out ran the water and said "hmmm, that should be coming out hot". I responded, "yes, that is why you are here". They said they were unsure and that the hot water heater was old (2015) and proceeded to quote me the cost of a new water heater. I didn't trust that they knew what the were talking about and had another company come out the following day. The second company diagnosed a slab leak within minutes and had a repair plan that did not require a replacement of the water heater. read more

Plumbing issue that started weeks ago. Had another company come out, fixed it but part installed broke 2 weeks later. Scheduled another fix and long story short, no one showed nor did they bother calling back as of today. Called Dean's Plumbing on Saturday and received a call before noon on Monday. Came out that same day about 40 minutes later. Jesse was very professional, work looks great and he explained everything. Wish I had called them first. read more

I am very impressed with Dean's Plumbing. They were able to do a sewer line inspection within 24 hours after the call. Great customer service from Billy and Julio. I would definitely recommend this company. read more

These guys are EXPERTS on tankless water heaters. Had a minor leak fixed with a $20 part on the truck and minimum service charge. Suggested a pre-filter to help these kinds of issues in the future, but no pressure to make that decision now. Ronnie Dean was the tech and he will be my plumber going forward. I had another supposed tankless water heater repair shop out two days prior and after an hour in his truck talking to the manufacturer, i got a $1000 estimate to replace an entire two year old pump, flush my systems (which I do yearly) and put in some extra catch and drain equipment that is frivolous. Also, I'd have to wait a week for parts. My water heater is bone dry and clean today and it is working 100%. Thanks Ronnie, you and the company are a class act. read more

I've never had to call a Plumber before. Hopped on yelp to ask some basic questions, because again I'm not familiar with how plumbers work or how they charge. I guess I annoyed them with trying to get a better understanding of how plumbers charge for each job, so they just chose to ignore me instead. I'm in sales & if I did that to a customer my boss would kill me. You're the expert & yes these questions can sound dumb to you, but you just lost a job to a company that's charging more for a trip charge than you due to your horrible service. I'll let the fellow 50 or so owners in my condo complex know to avoid you. Kudos. read more

This is the type of plumber that I try to avoid with everything I have. I was misguided by the high reviews. They were charging 3X the next plumber I hired. I called them out for water leaking and in my downstairs ceiling. The plumber that came out said he was going to charge $359 to cut a hole in the ceiling and go from there. I was desperate for the leak to stop so agreed. Once the whole was opened the plumber kept saying how difficult it was going to be to fix it and was going to be an additional $600. Sensing BS with how difficult it was I told him "NO". He then went to talk to the owner and came back with a discount of a total of $650. Still "NO", I didn't want to do business with this guy. The owner called me and asked what had happened. He said he usually charges a minimum of $650 per job. Something they should have said when I originally called them. So unless you want to shell out $650 no matter what the job, pass on them. The next plumber I called charged me less than $300 and would have been a total of $300 for the whole project. read more

Today for the first time in years my disposer backed up--I tried everything I could do to solve the problem, so I looked for a plumber. WOW - can not rate these guys high enough! Dean's Plumbing saved our butts BIG TIME yesterday when our water heater decided to die and start flooding our garage at 3:30pm on *New Year's Eve* (lovely, right?) The receptionist at Dean's was so nice, and literally immediately told us they could get the job done same day!! My husband and I were really impressed with the speed and professionalism with which they got the job done, and they even taught us how to turn off our water at the street shut-off valve (which was bizarrely complicated). So grateful they were able to come help us out so late on a holiday, otherwise we would have been stuck with no hot water all weekend - and it's getting down to freezing temperatures! Colin and Sean were really great, and even gave us their personal cell numbers in case we had any questions or needed anything after the fact. This is the type of service I honestly didn't think existed, but feel so lucky to have found!! Really great company, and we were totally satisfied from top to bottom - we'll definitely be using these guys again. read more

We are experienced DIYers, and have built several bathrooms from the ground up, but this time we were trying to retrofit a new shower valve and had a leak we couldn't resolve. Dean's was very responsive, came out the same day, fixed it on the first visit, and the charges were very reasonable. I would knock off a half-star for a little bit of unnecessary attitude regarding DIYers in general, but mostly, a very good experience. read more

I had a bad experience with another plumber I had called for my busted water heater. Then I called Dean's and they really did me right. They came out the next day. I will not be using Dean's Plumbing again. Had a problem with the water heater. They sent a plumber out and he got the pilot light lit again. I asked how much for coming out ....I was told this was a "Diagnostic Evaluation"???!!! Oh for pete sake It was a service call!!!!! I was charged 225.00 for lighting a pilot light! They fixed a leaky exterior faucet $375.00. When I complained about how high the chargers were he knocked off $50.00. I mean what just happened....This was not fair nor reasonable. read more

These guys are great. I have had them over on two separate occasions. The first time Chris and Ronnie came over to install a dishwasher and sink. They were super helpful and quick. The price is competitive but the service is remarkable. We couldn't be happier with the work. Recently we called about a main line stoppage. They were able to get someone out the same day and fix our problem. Honest and hardworking, I would recommend them to anyone looking for any type of plumbing work. read more

Jet and Shaun were awesome. They were on time, professional, and fixed my issues quickly. I highly recommend Dean's Plumbing!
