Several times now the people at Rider's have helped me with programing my transmitter and airplane. I couldn't have done this on my own. This week they sent my broken Saito engine back to Horizon Hobby for repair. They did all the paperwork and packaging and covered the shipping cost. Two weeks later they called me to say that they have a brand new engine for me to pick up. No questions asked, no charge, not even for shipping. I can only imagine the heartburn I would have had to deal with if I had bought this engine online. We need to support our local hobby shop because their support is vital to us and our hobbies.

My son who has a learning disability and emotionally impaired left 15 minutes after starting a game here from being harassed by one of the long time players here . I don't recommend anyone playing or shopping here. Especially after seeing how the owner is. He needs psychological help. Especially running a shop for kids. My son started walking home and this place is in a really rough neighborhood while carrying a couple thousand dollars of Pokemon collection in his backpack. The staff replied: "We will have the boxes available." Based on that confirmation, I made the trip. When I arrived, I was told their shipment was still being unpacked, so I waited in the area. After everything was sorted, I was informed that NIKKE wasn't part of the shipment at all -- not delayed, not street-dated, simply not included, which directly contradicted the message they sent me earlier. I understand shipments can be incomplete. The issue was being told the product would be available during the event period and only finding out the opposite after waiting around. Travelled through the monotony of downtown construction to get there. And of course, this wonderland has grown over and again. I was kidding the manager that soon they would to take over another storefront. It is JAMPACKED. And not just with your average stuff. You can get things here you'd have to hunt for anywhere else. The staff is ALWAYS kind, helpful and willing to include you in shenanigans. Customers are of all ages here. Young and old. Everyone is friendly and has a story to tell. The comic walls continue to grow to the ceiling and into the lobby which is full of cool toys, Magic cards, novels and comic wearables I haven't seen anywhere else. Got my son a supercool Godzilla hat (pictured) and a team up with the Avengers. They pull the things I want in case I can't make it in (or forget) which makes it all the better if you are a collector. It is clean and well organized and THE place for all my comic needs. There is no better value driving to a destination and finding more than you are looking for.

After discussing this on the phone, he agreed to partially refund me for the hardship. Several months later, I dropped the fake card off and he texted me to deny that he sold me the card but that he would "honor the $7 store credit offer". Notably, this is not the remedy we agreed upon on the phone. It is unfortunate that after spending a significant amount of money at this store, I have been met with such dishonest behavior. I write this review only to warn shoppers to be careful of what they buy. If hardship may occur, do not depend on Rich to make you whole. You will be disappointed.
