Outstanding experience with Ivan and his crew. They were super prompt, very flexible, creative, and did excellent work (we replaced our entire grass/weed yard with turf, had our driveway completely redone, and had some fence repair work done). We had some issues afterwards with aggressive animals damaging some of the turf (completely unrelated to their work) but they were all over it and worked creatively and diligently to solve it, which they did. Overall we had a wonderful experience with Ivan and his whole crew, and we'd wholeheartedly recommend them. read more

We used DEA 99 to install a sump pump under the house to keep water out of our basement as a referral from a neighbor and they were great! Quick, efficient, clear communication and finished the project early. They came up with a less invasive solution and the quote was also lower than most. Ivan was a pleasure to work with and his team does a wide array of work so we plan to reach out to them for future projects! read more

Ivan is a real professional. We found him on next door and contacted him. He replied within an hour or so asking about our scope. Ivan came that same afternoon to take a look at our project. He was on time, super friendly, and understood the scope. A few hours later he sent me a proposal in a PDF as promised. His pricing was very competitive. Our project was resetting our flag stone pathway and cementing them in. The proposed time frame was 3-4 days. They hustled and got it done in 2 days right in time for a BBQ. I cannot recommend Ivan and his team enough. read more

DEA 99 Landscape just finished fixing a leaning fence and replacing a gate for me and I couldn't be more pleased with their work. I had considered replacing the leaning fence because it was at least 20 years old and was looking pretty shabby. Ivan said that there was no need to replace it, the redwood was still good and structurally sound. He could insert posts to right it, then sand and stain it and make the fence good as new. He also proposed a design for my new gate. The end result-the fence is now upright and the newly applied stain made it look like it was brand new. The gate with its design with horizontal lines, is a beautiful addition to my house. Ivan and his crew were a pleasure to work with and I plan to use them for other projects. read more

If you're looking for a someone who is passionate about making a beautiful space, hire Ivan and his crew. Not only does Ivan care about his work, he was easy to communicate and provided great suggestions. His two main guys Angel and Carlos were respectful and worked meticulously to make sure every stone and pebble was level and in the right place. We hired them to build a fence, and eventually went back to do a large backyard rennovation. Incredibly happy with the work! read more

Dea 99 installed a front flagstone patio and turf at my townhouse and repaired our retaining wall. I had a general idea of what I wanted for my small front and back patio and Ivan helped me fine tune with his eye for design and practicality. What was best was his responsiveness throughout the entire project. I never felt any of the dismissiveness that I've sometimes experienced working with other contractors. No question was too small and he tried his best to give me exactly what I wanted. His crew was wonderful and with a very neat cleanup every day. Highly recommend. read more

I "A picture is worth a Thousand words" This is how Is describe my experience with DEA 99 Landscape, Ivan and his crew were wonderful in transforming my backyard into a better area for me and my family to relax in. I have always liked my yard but now I'm in love with it and can't wait to enjoy it even more than before. When I meet with Ivan to go over options for my backyard he made me feel comfortable and listened to my needs and wants. I appreciated that and respect the level of detail he and his team did to accomplish what was needed. I live behind a hill and needed a lot of help but on top of that I also wanted to add more space so I can do more with my yard. Ivan and his team helped with that by installing 2 retaining walls, steps for me to get up and down, planted many trees, installed drip system for all the trees, removed tree stumps and fixed the existing fence with new post. Now the problem hill is broken up into to sections for my family to enjoy. Ivan is honest, fair and knowledgeable. I especially liked that Ivan checked in with me during the process to make sure I was okay or had any questions. I'm very happy I found DEA99, they are detailed, professional and trusting. I will defiantly use them again and recommend them to my friends and family. read more

We just completed a large front yard landscaping project with DEA /Ivan inclusive of retaining walls, new patio, drainage, fences, planting... it was a ton of work. Ivan's crew were there 6 days of week for 10 weeks and we never had any issues. Ivan was very communicative and his team cared a lot about the quality. We are really happy with how everything turned out. It did go over budget and I wish there was more transparency with pricing but it's par for the course with construction. read more

We have known Ivan for many years. He is always honest, forthright, and fair. We asked him and his crew to redo the slate stones in our yard, which had been originally placed on the dirt in a not very safe manner for adults walking or young children (our grandchildren) playing in the yard. His team cut the slate, brought in some new stones that matched beautifully, and reconfigured the pattern to make the design beautiful and safe! At the same time, he placed plastic covered by stones on the side of the yard that we did not want to plant. We later asked Ivan and his team to plant the flower beds. This process included joining us at a wonderful nursery that he recommended, completely honoring our simple preferences in plants and their placement in the beds, and redoing an old watering system among other tasks. We are incredibly happy with the outcome. Stephanie Leonard read more

We had a great experience with Ivan and his crew building a 60' redwood fence with a gate/door along one side of our property. They were prompt, professional, and built us such a lovely fence. Ivan even thoughtfully sawed down some unsafe bolts on an existing retaining wall (which he knew could have been dangerous for our toddler) and came back after our project was finished to help us with another small thing unrelated to the fence that he really didn't need to do! We definitely appreciated him doing these extra things and have a really beautiful fence which will allow us to enjoy our outdoor space even more. We will certainly think of Ivan and his crew for any landscape projects going forward. read more

I witnessed the beautiful work Ivan, Angel and their crew were doing on my neighbor's house. This job included a gorgeous, clean, modern fence, serene, unique landscaping, and precise stonework. So I asked them for a quote to replace my precarious old fence. The price was fair and the timing worked out great. They built me a fantastic and very large fence in only a few days. Angel went above and beyond and I felt genuinely cared for. We are all so happy with the completed job. I know there will be landscaping work in my future with DEA 99. read more

Ernesto and his team are excellent at what they do. Very skilled, professional, and experienced. We asked them to install a patio in our backyard with proper sloping to ensure good drainage for rainy season. They assembled all of the materials and built us a beautiful patio using three different color pavers. They also built us flagstone steps leading from the back kitchen door to the patio- it's truly a statement piece. The craftsmanship on the entire project was high quality. I had been admiring a landscaping job in progress in my neighborhood. While walking by one day the homeowner was out front and I told her how nice her yard looked and asked who the landscaper was. She gave me the name of DEA 99 Landscaping and told me the owners name was Ivan. She was very happy with DEA99. After a few days I reached out to DEA99 via its website. Within an hour I received an email from Ivan saying he could help with my gopher problem. We set up a consultation that same day. i immediately liked Ivan because he asked me what I wanted/envisioned and he listened to me. He offered a few suggestions that I liked. Yesterday Ivan and his wonderful crew of really hard workers finished my yard. I must say I love the improvements. Thanks to Ivan's suggestions it turned out better than I expected. I'm getting compliments from people passing by. I plan to hire this company again when I do my back yard. Ivan and his crew became like family. They really love what they do and it shows. I couldn't be happier. In addition today I received a before and after video of my yard. read more
