After we moved in, I found there was still a leak, so Mike's, who had been paid to fix it, was called to come back out and fix it. Mike came out and looked at it and promised to come back the next day and fix it. He did not show up. A few days later I texted him and he said that he forgot about me. He then promised to come fix it "in a day or two." Several days later he did send a guy out to dig a little around the box. That guy said that his boss would be out the next day to fix it. He didn't show and he didn't call or text. After 3 or 4 days I sent him a text. His reply after stringing me along for two weeks was, "Sorry for the inconvenience, you are going to have to find someone else." I was and still am incredulous. I cannot imagine anybody treating customers that way, let alone walking away from a job like that. I did find an excellent company who came out and did the job, no thanks to Mike's. One star is too high, I wish there was an option for zero stars for Mike's Yard Sevice. They are terrible, DO NOT hire Mike's Yard Care for anything.

From the first consultation to the final walk-through, the entire experience was outstanding. Jeremy, the owner was an absolute pleasure to work with. His communication was truly exceptional - every phone call and text was returned immediately and he was always available to answer questions or talk through ideas. Jeremy has a fantastic eye for design. He came up with a beautiful vision for our space and picked the perfect gravel colors, plants and layout to suit our home and the environment. Every element feels intentional, and the results are both striking and harmonious. The transformation exceeded our expectations! Even better the job was completed much faster than we anticipated and came in exactly on budget - no surprises, and no stress. The crew was professional, respectful, and tidy throughout the process. We've received so many compliments from neighbors and friends, and we smile every time we pull into the driveway. If you're looking for a landscaping company, that is professional, creative, reliable, and a joy to work with, we highly recommend Blue Moon Landscape. They truly went above and beyond!!!

He listened to our ideas and answered questions. From the first meeting, Jeremy told us they were booked out about 6 months, but since we contacted them in January, that was not a problem for us. The estimate, with a detailed scope of the work, was provided to us very quickly. We were notified about a month in advance of starting the project that they expected to begin in late June. It was always easy to reach Jeremy. When I had a question that required another site inspection, he made it happen at my convenience. We are delighted with the result. They were very professional, easy to work with, started when they said they would, were considerate of our property and neighbors, cleaned everything up, took the micro-climates in our back yard into consideration when selecting plants, and took the time to make sure everything was expertly finished. We could not be more pleased and highly recommend Blue Moon Landscape.

However,…read morewe had spoken to them months ago about landscaping our front yard, and eventually our back yard. They said they'd be available by August 2017 to do the work. They ended up blowing us off, returned only one phone call out of many, and never followed through. From what I can gather from this conduct is that they never intended to do the work in the first place. I could be incorrect about this, but their conduct speaks for itself. Ultimately it wasted our time when we could have hired someone else to do the work. We are very disappointed and never expected this treatment. We had preferred them b/c they know the irrigation system, and would be unlikely to damage it when landscaping the yard. Also, their prices are reasonable. Again, very unfortunate and unnecessary! We have experienced better, but not in Chico, CA where we currently reside.
