I got the prenatal massage as I'm 37 weeks with an active toddler at home so I really needed some deep relaxation. She was so gentle and just had the magic touch - a skill that is not learned but is innate. It put me to sleep which is rare for me as I do not take naps. She is so sweet, genuine, and made sure I was well taken care of. I truly appreciated the care and attention Ana gave. Maybe it's just me but I don't think so. Can't I just call, talk to a human and book a time and choose among "Good" therapists that cater to my issues? A maternity one and a regular Swedish massage. My friend goes in right before the appointment time. Perfect! My turn is coming right? Someone calls my name. Oops. She meant Catherine. Not Caroline. Idk that mistake happens often. I know because I have a sister whose name is Catherine. So I sit down. 20 minutes after my appointment time, the manager comes in and tells me the therapist didn't show up and they're fully committed today. My masseuse, Jackie, was wonderful professional, attentive, and truly one of the best parts of the visit. The whirlpool was very nice, and I appreciated having access to the two steam rooms. However, overall, the amenities and level of hospitality felt underwhelming compared to what I expected from the Ritz-Carlton brand, especially as someone who frequents luxury spas regularly. I was offered one complimentary mimosa, and the overall atmosphere lacked the elevated, indulgent experience I was anticipating for a birthday spa day. I usually go to the Joule however, I wanted to try something different. I'm not sure if I'll return.
