Dd's Discounts - A store I have heard a few times over the years, smaller than Ross, but might be carry about the same amount of stuffs, I was going around trying to find a toilet plunger, so I came in to ask one of the employee to help me find it, he guided to the cleaning section, surprisingly no plungers but only a bunch of mops. I am in shocked that a big store like this don't have a single plunger, but they have everything else, do people shop here never had a clogged toilet, this is beyond me. read more

DD's paradise! I can go from Gucci to Fucci in one day...and I can spend days browsing all what this DDs has to offer. Literally the best of this chain. So big, abundant, all fresh new clothes and items, happy people shopping (I even encountered a classmate and that considering we live very far away, that our classes are mostly online and we had met only once in person!). See, DD's connects people:) I truly enjoyed my time buying there and plan to go often now that I take ballet classes across the street (yes, you read correctly, ballet for adults, and for free:). When it comes to saving money this is definitely a good place to come to. The only problem is you also get what you pay for. If you're buying home furniture be prepared to have items missing and when you take it back to get a refund, better have your receipt or be prepared to get store credit. I don't like the fact that you can not even bring in a drink before being asked to throw it away. The staff in the front are friendly but the one's in the back care more about gossip than customers. read more

Stopped here just to kill some time. DD's is pretty much a cheaper version of Ross. They sell shoes, clothes, houseware and toys etc. I feel like almost every DD's I have been to has been a bit messy. The pro to it is if you're in need of something super cheap for a one-time use, it's not a bad place to go. read more

I stopped in with 2 items on my list. ONE was a usb cable. I found one that was even better than what I was looking for, at a reasonable price. I almost didn't get it because in my opinion it was ugly. But it was manly and looked to be well constructed, and price was right. The one I really wanted they only had for iPhone. NEXT I was looking for a bow tie. I walked out the store tieless. When I walked in the store I was greeted promptly. When I was I was looking for cable I saw an employee. I tried to get his attention but he dissapeared into the stockroom. I walked around the store untill I found said cable all by myself. When I found the rack where they had the cable and I started comparing all the cables, who do you think walked up with more items for the rack??? Nonother than the speedy stockboy. I told him about me trying to flag him down. He didnt seem to notice I was talking to him. Or perhaps he didn't care. That's what separated this store from 4 stars. I'll stop in again from time to time if I'm in the neighborhood but I won't go out of my way to visit. read more

You pay for what it is it's cheap for a reason so if you are in a hurry couldn't do laundry need a set of emergency clothes this is it sometimes it's very messy but like I said prices reflect that sometimes even though there's a long line it moves fairly well in my experience cashiers were ok and found what I needed at the moment quickly read more

This store the worst ever cashiers are rude and hostile with no return unless you fight for your money. Very bad experience at this store. I have to called the manager but even the manager was refusing to give me my money back. read more

A friend told me about this place so I went to it. I fell in love with it. It's cheaper prices then Tj Maxx,Ross, and Marshall's. They also sell scrubs which is a big plus. I will definitely be back for more great stuff read more

I came here for the first time with friends about 2 weeks ago and could not believe my eyes on the deals they had. Took some pics and told my mother and she wanted to come shopping here! We're always looking for a deal! Ended up coming here sooner than expected as I had won her over. She needed job interview clothes and had no problem finding just that! The clothing is geared towards more of a young adult and teen audience but that's right up my alley so I had not issues with it. There's not alot of name brands but I'm not a name brand snob so it didn't matter to me. Everything was well organized and the employees were very friendly. The time of day we went was right when kids were being let out of school so it was noiser than expected but I otherwise don't have any complaints. Lines are long but not longer as in Ross. read more

Worst customer service that you could encounter. The store opened at 10:00 AM and we entered at 10:03 AM since we were looking for one specific item we asked employees who were talking of they could assist us. In a very rude tone we were told that no drinks were allowed inside. We placed the drink next to the door and wirh attitude she informed us that the drink could not be left inside. We moved the drink outside the door. Again we asked for an associate assistance they said no one was available. Meanwhile two associates were just talking while a third one was restocking by the cash register. When asked to speak with a manager I was told that one was available. On the way to look for the item we encounter three other associates who were restocking. Yet the store had no associates to assist customers. Had I not been on a charter bus I would have gone elsewhere but I need the clothespins to hold music sheets for a student performance. read more

DD's DISCOUNTS is good for shopping for things you want to save money on. I only shop here because it's close to where I live. BUT They charged me twice for the same item after saying they would take it off but It was never deleted. So I had to pay twice for an item. It was unprofessional, and shows that she doesn't care about customers or customer service. I'm upset that she took extra money from me when I was already paying for a lot of things. Another time I was shopping there an item that was opened with the box destroyed. The last of it. Mind you it was for a baby. I tried to get some sort of discount because I felt like it was contaminated. But they disregarded it and said pay the full price. I tried to buy a gift bag for it and this item didn't have a price on it and they "don't sell it individually" so they told me I have to go find it instead of helping me with the issue. Their customer service needs to be better and a student taking business class I think customer service is very important when trying to strive. As a tip be more organized and nicer too customers I think you guys would have way more customers and be way happier in the place you are working at! read more

I walked into the store today for the first time and I immediately regretted it. Loss prevention made it very difficult to feel comfortable shopping. I came from the City Heights library and had my backpack. Before I could walk in security told me I had to leave my backpack at the front, "no backpacks". I understand that they are trying to prevent theft but doesn't make me inclined to ever shop there again. read more
