I have been shopping at Kiko + Sven for the past several years. It was one of the first stores I…read morelearned about when I went to the very first Adams Avenue Spirit Stroll, which is a local, annual sip and shop event. I then went back to do a little holiday shopping, and have been back many times since. I am also happy that the shop continues to host a spirt stop on the stroll. Kiko + Sven is a tiny shop with a lot of cute items. Some appear handmade and other are just cute or unique. They probably have more jewelry than anything. It is mostly dainty gold and silver, some with long beads and some made from clay. They have a back wall that is full of greeting cards, and a section of toddler and baby items. There are usually quite a few candles and soaps, and a small amount of cocktail/cooking supplies. All of it calls out to me... and makes me want to spend money. They also have a rack of clothing in the shop, and usually a sale rack outside. I have bought a couple of tops and a cute shawl there in the past, but since the selection is so small, I often don't find any clothing that either is my size or style. I think it is a great shop to browse and find something unecspected. As it is very small, the times I went looking for something more specific for gifts, it has been a bit hit or miss. Their stock varies over time and you may or may not luck out. All in all, if you are shopping or eating on Adams, go check it out. It's really fun to browse and you may find something you like. Also, they will make you an account so you can put your phone number in for discounts without any coupons or solicitaitons.

I always look forward to going in there to see what they have. Also the service is always helpful and can answer any questions you may have. They also support local artists and there always new items to see when you go in. Also if you are a plant lover they have unique ones as well as pots too.

At the current time the store will not be getting Christmas trucked the Christmas things they have are their last for the store will close at Fashion Valley Mall on December 15th . For the many times that I have gone to the store and shopped for the great bargains of the cooking depart and the great travel luggage they would have great travel luggage prices many times other stores didn't have the ones I wanted. For the Mission Valley Mall is one of the oldest since 1962 one of the many that had many great stores one of the many for Seaus . For customer service is one of the best when I went shopping on Tues to get a new waffle maker I saw the signs that the signs the whole store was moving to the Fashion Valleyall. For the Macy's Backstage is one store that has great selections you could find great wedding gifts and the bedroom pieces for the great selections of the china crystal they had the best selections . For Macy's Backstage when it came to Christmas they had the largest selection of put together trees and the classic decorations that had the older designs and the standing Santas for the house. To see a store being moved it's the part of the mall you could buy beds and bedding with the largest pillows for the best nights sleep. Macys Backstage is the large red brick building you could see while driving and close to the Nordstroms Rack when you came to the mall you could go in from the parking and shop and the all doors rake you right over near the AMC Theater . As a Yelp Elite Reviewer to find that the store is closing will be closed by December 15th I was surprised very surprised to see a great store close it's doors . One of the best in Customer Service the products and cooking classes they had they were the greatest .

She deserves a shout out because it was BUSYA TODAY and she really kept things fun and lighthearted. Loved the earrings I was able to fly in today, they even have flat back ones that were decently priced and sterling silver so fingers crossed I won't have an allergic reaction!

My first item to purchase, a small lamp. This Home Goods store offered many styles-15 minutes to decide. Second, and just for fun, foodstuffs. Imported Mafalde con archetto, a lasagna styled ruffled edge pasta. Cut to approximately 1/3 the width of actual lasagna noodles, I'm looking to create something unusual- thank you Falco of Naples, Italy. I also found Bobo's wild berry stuffed oat bites-soft, vegan chewy goodness. The highlight of this trip was the polyester satin pillowcases. Labeled as gentle for skin and hair, great for allergy sufferers and machine washable-YES, all three are true. I only wish I had purchased them before I bought this months allergy meds. So far, the pillowcases appear to be enough. A fun shopping experience if you have the time, but today I removed a star for the unbelievably long wait to get to a cash register-the wait was easily over 20 minutes. Free parking lot. Good prices. Plenty of variety. Clean, well stocked store. Nice customer service people.

I only have two malls i consistently go in San Diego, the Fashion Valley Mall and the UTC Mall…read more However, UTC mall is more of a leisure... to walk around and kill time, for my son to play at the playground, for the festivities on the holiday season especially Xmas, to have family fun dates and good food experiences at nearby restaurants and the mall I always go to every time I have issues with my Apple iPhone and techs. The fashion Valley Mall tho, is my main mall. This is the mall where I actually do most of my shopping. We watch movies at the AMC theater when we have extra time and get food at the cafeteria/food court area after hours of walking. My son never misses going inside the Laderach to get a free taste, the best chocolate there is. We love going to this mall, especially with my son now being a teenager, we would most likely be doing lots of our shopping activities here especially at his favorite boutiques, like the zumies, Hollister, Rayban, and plenty others I do not recall.... We also love going to The escape room where the mall is. My favorite is the Nordstrom Rack! ;) The holidays tho could get really packed and busy but there's alot of nice things to see and lots of good deals to look forward to.

Hello May!! Came to…read moreFashion Valley on what must've been an off Sunday because...where was everybody? I hadn't been here in years, fully prepared to fight for parking, but jokes on me. Endless spots to park! That's a first! Are malls dead now? How are stores surviving? Anywhoo, I still spent more than planned. Damn you, Sephora! Pros: *Surprisingly easy parking (a rare mall miracle) *Huge mix of stores from bougie to budget - Louis Vuitton, Coach, Hollister, Macy's, Nordstrom's, Neiman Marcus, H&M, Zara, and Gucci to name a few *Open-air vibe with palm trees; very San Diego aesthetic with a tropical feel; complete with fountains and artistic landscaping *Solid food options with a food court, cafes, and kiosks, Cheesecake Factory, Seasons 52, and my fav, True Food Kitchen *Clean and well-maintained and easy to wander around *There's a lot of variety here to keep you entertained *They have seasonal events that is a nice addition to shopping Cons: *Felt oddly empty for a Sunday..kinda eerie but it may be an introvert paradise *Dangerous for your wallet (you will overspend) *Some stores seem like they're hanging on by a thread *Malls just don't hit like they used to despite the pros- mainly because everything has gone up! Shopping isn't as enjoyable when things cost an arm and a leg. Overall: 3.5 Stars - Still one of the nicer malls around if you're in the mood to stroll, shop, and accidentally blow your budget (Guilty!). Would I come back? Only if my bank account approves!
