The office staff did not provide consistent or timely communication throughout my experience. When I scheduled my appointment, I was quoted one price for the services. However, upon arrival, I was informed that the cost would be more than $300 higher than originally discussed. When I asked for clarification regarding the discrepancy, no one in the office could identify who provided the original quote, despite there being only a small front office staff. I would strongly recommend requesting a written estimate before scheduling treatment to avoid unexpected charges or misunderstandings. Unfortunately, my interaction with the dentist was also disappointing. Rather than addressing concerns professionally, he was argumentative and made negative comments about the practices of the previous owners. As a new provider receiving referrals from the former practice, it would be beneficial to approach prospective patients with greater professionalism, patience, and attentiveness. It is truly unfortunate to see what was once a highly regarded practice decline in this manner.

They take a lot of care and understand what's going on in my teeth and dental care. Their office is located on the second floor of the office building in shadow Glen. Parking is a little competitive, but not difficult. I recommend morning visits because afternoons can be a little trying sometimes.

I've had sensitivity when eating/drinking hot and cold foods for months now, so I was naturally nervous about the visit. My hygienist Kenya was friendly and thorough and she took my concerns about sensitivity very seriously - it was maybe the gentlest cleaning I've ever had! She had great advice for prevention and ongoing care. I was offered a fluoride treatment and it was explained upfront that it was optional and would cost $15. I only saw Dr. Patel briefly but he was very friendly and listened to my concerns. I will be going back next week for some follow up and feel confident that I will be well taken care of by everyone.

They don't greet you when you arrive. They don't keep up with what my insurance company will pay vs the services rendered. (The number of x-rays exceeded what my insurance covers.) I got a bill today for $39.00 and I haven't been there in 9 months. I have sent them emails - and there is no response. It falls into a black hole. I love the dentist but the management of the office is less than I expect which brings the whole experience down.

Don't…read moreyou just hate it when 2 to 3 months after visiting a doctor or dentist you suddenly get hit by some unexpected bills. On the same day, both my wife and I received texts that showed we owed hundreds of dollars. I was lucky they only wanted $74 from me, but they wanted $800 from her. On my visit I remember being told that I was all paid up, but apparently that's not the case. My wife on the other hand was talked into getting a night guard which is almost $1000 when you include the lab fee. She was told they would have it ready in two weeks and when she called after two weeks to check on it, she was told either they forgot to send in the order or that it would take longer, so she canceled it. Fast-forward a couple of months and she gets a bill for over $800. So I call our insurance company which then loops in their billing person. The billing person confesses that they're using a new software that unfortunately bills their patients the full amount, which is why we were expected to pay almost $900. After much discussion, they finally realized their mistakes and that I actually owed $279 for everything. It would've been a lot less, except that I had to pay for the night guard since they had already made it. So the lesson here folks is to be absolutely certain that you're paid up before you leave and to get an itemized list of anything you might owe after the service before you sign that iPad on your way out. But most of all, don't fall for the night guard sell when you can buy one at H-E-B for 20 bucks. Not sure if I'll be back.

I had to get a crown on one of my back teeth and most places were quoting me at $700+ after insurance. So I found this quaint little dentist and made an appointment. The place itself is very clean and cute! I've been there twice and I've only seen women work there (which I dig, and a lot of them are ethnic which I dig even more!) They're all super friendly, warm and inviting. The ambiance is more like a spa than a medical facility which gives you a sense of ease and comfort! They also offer coffee, juice, water, Gatorade and let you watch Netflix in your chair which is a nice touch. Anyways, the first time I went in they took a panoramic xray for free (which at a lot of places can be costly if your insurance wont cover or you've had multiple in a year) and then Dr. Zizi talked to me about what needed to get done. I felt that she was very professional and kind. I have a lot of fillings. A LOT. And in the past, dentists have remarked on the amount of fillings I have making me super uncomfortable. So I formed a habit of shyly telling the dentist about it... and when I told Dr. Zizi, she comforted me and said thats totally normal and she even has the same problem and its nothing to worry about. I came in to this practice kind of already knowing what work I needed done, having been told by another dentist. So I let her know what I was told. She did a short exam and agreed. What I appreciated greatly was her explanation of everything.. she showed me the xrays and talked me through what was happening in my mouth and I actually got educated! So anyways, I was quoted and given a discount for upfront payment and came back for part one of the crown procedure. I was taken impressions by this wonderful dental assistant, Yareli, who was very kind! Kindness and bedside manner in these kinds of places should never be overlooked :) So, apparently the procedure is not supposed to be painful, but the tooth that was being worked on was a "hot tooth" so it was, and Dr. Zizi was very nice and stopped every time I flinched and made absolutely sure I was comfortable and numbed me up enough because she didn't want me to feel pain which I thought was sweet! Honestly, I've read some of the bad reviews posted from a while ago. I think the practice has really learned from those experiences and upped their game. Dr. Zizi is great and really knows what she's doing, the only thing is she definitely has a lot on her plate. She jumps from patient to patient, but I think thats a good thing, it means she really loves what she does! So if anything, go for a consultation and decide from there :)

Our family was fairly satisfied. BUT, today we were referred out for my 5 year old's first cavities. The current dentist is not confident in managing children's cavities. My 5 yr old is really compliant so I was very surprised to hear she didn't feel confident in doing the procedure. It's pretty disappointing because this has been our "dental home" as a family for 5 years, but if they can't even manage a basic cavity for a child then we might as well go elsewhere for care.
