The cleaning was rushed, and I was pressured for additional services (tooth filling and Invisalign), which I declined. During my second visit 6 months later, I was kept waiting 30 minutes into my scheduled appointment time despite arriving 20 minutes early to my appointment. They wanted to do a second X-ray, which I pointed out was unnecessary and not covered by my insurance, and they agreed, so I returned to the waiting room. Then, I was informed by the receptionist, the dental hygienist, and the doctor that I needed a deep cleaning of my bottom teeth based on the X-ray they took from the first visit. I was not informed any of this during my first visit. This deep cleaning would not be covered by my insurance either, so I refused. At this point, the doctor said I could reschedule for another day for a regular top and bottom teeth cleaning because there was not enough time to clean both top and bottom, even though I was early to my appointment. Then, I was ushered out to the waiting room again to sign a deep cleaning refusal form. Now, a different doctor came out and said I could no longer reschedule my regular teeth cleaning for another day since I refused the deep cleaning! All I wanted was a routine, regular teeth cleaning with no extra service tacked on. Instead, I got conflicting messages, shady practices, and wasted time. My guess is they are going to reply to this message saying that this is their professional opinion, and I am free to refuse deep cleaning, as they are free to refuse to provide regular cleaning, and that's 100% fair. It is also fair for you as a patient to find a dentistry that does not rip you off to boost profit margins. Get a second opinion elsewhere!

And no, I've never heard anything from them about getting a fancy toothbrush for a yelp review, although I probably wouldn't blame them for asking busy-yet-satisfied people like me to take their precious time to come here and review considering the extremity of the character assassination that has gone on. ***Why I Love Aspire Dental*** I'm particularly satisfied with Dr. Hall because he never pressures me to have services done that I don't want or need. I don't have any dental insurance and I have amazingly good teeth (never had a cavity), and so I don't like paying for unnecessary services and having a lot of x-rays. I know it's silly, but I'm particularly turned off by x-rays because of a thyroid condition I have and the fact that my mom recently died of cancer. Dr. Hall and his entire staff have been very understanding and accommodating and only require me to have the minimum required by regulations and they make sure I have a full lead smock with a thyroid collar. I take both of my children to Dr. Hall choosing him over pediatric dentists. They feel very at ease with him and they feel like everyone in the office notices them and is excited to see them. We've been to pediatric dentist offices in the past and found the kids are mostly shuttled to video games, movie stations, and the like instead of being doted on by staff. The staff talk to the kids, something they love and appreciate. We've had experiences elsewhere in which the dentist and staff only addressed me the entire time and the kids were treated like plants in the corner and so they super appreciate how they are treated not only like actual people but like VIPs by everyone at Aspire Dental, especially Dr. Hall.

After the exam I immediately left and did not do the cleaning. When I sat in the exam chair expecting to discuss my oral health, she immediately commented on my clothing (which is not what I came in there for). I was simply wearing a lavender athleisure outfit, long pants long sleeve top and a hat. She mentioned how everything was purple and then she said "I'm glad your shoes are at least neutral." Ma'am. Why are you emotionally affected (she said she was "glad") by other women's clothing, especially when they are dressed modestly and not harming anyone? I can wear lavender or ANY color from head to toe if I wanted to and that shouldn't be a problem at all. What does this have to do with the health of my teeth? It was not in a complimentary way it was judgmental and rude for NO REASON. I responded by saying "they're just clothes" and she said something really strange to me after that. She literally responded saying "Yea, BUT....." and proceeded to say something completely irrelevant and rude. I was so confused. I came to check on my health and she is talking about the clothing/appearance of her customers in an unkind way. The rest of the staff was very nice, but I do not recommend this dentist to anyone. It's really unfortunate that I have to write this but no one deserves a medical professional to make unnecessary and rude comments on the clothing and appearance of their customers. Unprofessional and unacceptable. If you attend this office, expect the dentist to make snide rude remarks about your clothing. I don't do that to people, I believe in keeping high vibrations and uplifting and accepting everyone, their different styles, and advocating for health and wellness to have a long healthy and peaceful life.
