My daughter,…read moreyoungest of four kiddos suffered some really challenging medical trauma before she was 2 years old and the memories of that fear and pain lives in her body. She's cured every time she walks into a medical office of ANY type since she was able to communicate. When we walked into the dentist office for the first time it was no different. She was terrified. Dr loving and her team met her in her fear and held her. They have tenderly and patiently nurtured her and helped her rebuild trust not only with her body, but also with her medical providers. Giving her space to ask questions, taking time to show her and patiently moving at a pace where she could engage the courage she needed to step into situations and spaces that felt scary and overwhelming. Including things in her mouth, shots, x-rays, any anything where she felt a loss of control. Today we went in for an emergency visit, she had cracked a molar and turned out she needed a crown. 1 hour later we walked out with a smiling little girl, who she'd maybe two years before the procedure started. She did amazing and she left feeling proud and happy about her new "princess crown" a feat that ONLY happened because of the care and attention that has been provided by Brandy and her team. I can not recommend them enough. I have kids ages 15 - 6 and have had multiple different dental experiences since becoming a mom, hands down THIS IS THE BEST! I wish we had known about her earlier and can guarantee we will be with her as long we she will see my kids. I'm so thankful and feel like they have not only helped instill confidence in my daughter related to her experience at the dentist, but they have truly helped her heal from medical trauma that could have caused anxiety for the rest of her life. Dr. Chang was recommended to us by a friend and was able to quickly get us in to be taken care of. She was attentive, kind, great bedside manner, and perfectly pivoted from explaining things appropriately to our child, and then to us. I filed a grievance with my insurance company and they also stated us only being responsible for 297. I also reached out to the dental association and board as well. It's sad I have to look for a new dentist for my son because they can't figure out how to properly bill clients and insurance.

When we arrived we were greeted by so many friendly faces :) we sat in the waiting room equipped with books, TVs, and toys (and a fish tank which my 15 month old lovvved). Dr. Hernandez personally came to greet us and brought us back. The first 10 minutes were all about making the boys comfortable. Showing them around and talking to Luca about cleaning his teeth, explaining everything to us and him. The rest was so easy. He hopped in the chair and had his teeth cleaned and examined by one of their lovely hygienists. My 15 month old did great too! Everyone at that office is warm and friendly and super helpful. I could not have picked a better dentist for my boys first visit. Luca even said on the way out "see you tomorrow" which tells me he really enjoyed his experience. I confirmed my appointment several times, filled out all forms, even sent an x rays taken by other clinics. When we finally arrived there, they told me: " I don't know who cancelled your appointment, but it has been cancelled!" I tried to talk to their assistant manager. Showed a proof that I never received any call from them, but she was saying to reschedule it! Both me and my husband took off from work, a kid didn't go to school, he was experiencing a pain and they were saying "let's reschedule it!" WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL THAT??
