My wife and I traveled to Washington Reagan National Airport from our home in San Diego so that I could attend a professional conference and so that we could visit family a few days later. We booked a ride with this service to get us from the airport to our hotel. Our driver, Patrick, not only mastered the confusion at the airport - it was 8:00 pm on Saturday night - he was there on time and immensely helpful. He was driving a very comfortable SUV which had plenty of room for us and our luggage. We loaded in our bags, climbed in, closed the doors and off we went. Patrick was marvelous, giving us not only a well informed tour of the area where we were traveling through he was pleasant and a delight to deal with. He pointed out the sights, and some of the history of the area in Alexandria, VA and the very beautiful area of the National Harbor where we were staying. We were delivered right to our hotel with minimal traffic and a very professional service on his part. I don't get back this way very often however the next time I do I'll certainly make use of the services of DCAcar, particularly if they can have Patrick take care of us. I used DCAcar last weekend for service based on the good reviews on Yelp. I was not disappointed and now know why people give them such good reviews. Using DCAcar made what was bound to be a challenging trip much more smooth and less stressful. I called and spoke to Arsen before I booked and flew out to the area, because I was traveling with my parents who are in their 80's, my dad needing help getting into the car, etc. Arsen was polite and helpful in my being able to make decisions in using their service and the type of car to book. We were picked up on arrival and had a pleasant journey from BWI to our hotel. Our driver was very helpful and patient with us getting checked-in and my father out of the car and into our room. We had some complexity on our return trip, requiring a special pick-up and a second stop. Arsen made sure that our driver was clear on how to handle things, and all went smoothly with our pick-up and drop off to BWI. Again, the driver was very helpful with my father and making sure we were cared for upon pick-up and arrival. Overall, the service was excellent, and I highly recommend them. We had a 5 star+ experience with Andre yesterday as he helped my brother and I take my 90+ year old parents to visit the National Gallery of Art in DC. Andre was spectacular---warm, flexible, helpful every step of the way. He arrived early--allowing us to add a glimpse of the DC monuments onto our drive. Even with that we arrived perfectly on time. The car was spotless, water plentiful ---the ride smooth and comfortable. Andre expertly and carefully helped my parents and their wheel chairs in and out of the vehicle. He bonded with my Dad, joking about making sure Dad behaved while at the museum. On learning that Dad taught Driver's Ed many moons ago, Andre asked for a grade on his experience---after some careful thought my Dad rated Andre an A+! Andre even figured out how to navigate out of DC around the Gay Pride march we had not anticipated ---spur of the moment adjustment that made sure we got back before my parents lost too much steam. We have a fond memory of our excursion yesterday----with much thanks to Andre and DCAcar---tops on my list when we need them again! read more

FANTASTIC SERVICE! DCACar service is truly a convenient way to travel to and from the airport. Everything is true to the letter as described in how the car service works! The reservation was easy and the pick-up was easier. The driver was punctual and sent a confirmation text message to reassure us that he was outside waiting. I got several quotes from different car for hire companies to pick up my mother at Dulles and DCACar was the most affordable and quickest to respond. They also ended up having just splendid customer service, My mom was returning from a summer vacation staying with me in Italy and I wanted to make sure she was taken care of upon landing as she has some minor mobility issues. Booking everything for her from Italy was made seamless by DCACar's attentiveness to emails/calls (even when I had to leave messages due to the time difference). My wife and I recently moved to Leesburg and when planning an extended business trip to the West Coast. We decided to try DCAcar due in large part because of their Yelp Reviews. A very early flight meant a early pick up. Our driver was a few minutes early and quickly loaded our bags in the trunk of our very well appointed vehicle. A wonderfully safe ride. We were duly impressed. Our return flight was a bit late, but as we landed a text message from our driver was received immediately. A bag problem further delayed us a few extra minutes. With bags in hand we proceeded to our pickup area and within minutes our car arrived from the cell phone waiting lot. Again a courteous and efficient driver make quick work of our luggage. We flew into Washington Reagan on the worst possible night when an expected light dusting of snow turned into a sheet of black ice. NOTHING was moving on any road in Northern Virginia. Our driver was patient, intrepid and undeterred as he tried every possible street and byway to get us home. Cars and buses blocked roads after spinning out on the ice. Our driver in his 4 wheel SUV never lost his cool or his determination to get us home that evening. It took three hours of patience to go the nine miles to our house, but there was never a word of complaint or frustration from our driver. He carefully made his way until he safely deposited us at our door. We invited him in to rest and recover, but he politely declined our offer and departed. We had a very early international flight. We didn't want to risk a taxi/Uber not showing up or the dreaded shuttle from the long term parking at Dulles Airport! DCACar was fantastic! They arrived 15 minutes early and texted me when they were outside. Trip from our home in Arlington to Dulles was smooth and fast. Return trip was in the evening on the 4th of July. Our flight was an HOUR early into Dulles. The driver was tracking us and was already at the airport. We have Global Entry (and had let DCA Car know that) and cruised through immigration/ customs. The driver had texted me his location at arrivals and was waiting for us with a sign. The car was parked in front of the terminal and we had a quick, smooth ride home. We booked an SUV thru DCAcar coming and going back to Dulles from our hotel. Their service was impeccable, the car was clean and the rides were smooth; both drivers were polite, professional and helpful. I must say that the first driver (DVD are his initials) was extremely nice and accommodating and even gave us a short history lesson on the city, as well as pointing out places of interest, etc. We were truly impressed with the service, the cost of the rides - as well as being on time and getting us to and from our destinations! Even though the gratuity was included in the overall costs, we tipped both drivers extra for their professional courtesy. Reservations were easily made a few days in advance over the phone after I requested a quote. Zack (our driver) arrived early and sent a text to let us know he was here. The vehicle was spotless and the AC allowed us to easily escape the holiday heat wave while we traveled in comfort. Zack was extremely professional and we enjoyed great conversation during the drive. When I called to make a reservation I was explained there were only SUV's available and decided to book one due to the great online reviews. When the guest arrived to the meeting, I realized this person would have a very difficult time getting into an SUV safely specially, in a rainy Spring day. When I called to cancel, they were totally understanding of the situation and because it was a safety issue, did not charge me. WOW! There are still responsible caring people out there! Booked on that basis, and the service turned out to be as per the reviews - outstanding service, courteous drivers, billed after the service was delivered, and arrived 15 minutes before the booked time in DC - and waiting for us in International Arrivals when we arrived (with a text message as we got off the plane). We booked a black sedan with very short notice (24 hours) through DCA cars for a round trip ride for three to Reagan National airport. Not only could they accommodate us on short notice, they were prompt and extremely professional. From the person who took our reservation via email then phone, to both our drivers. We had a baggage delay on our return flight and when I txt the driver to let him know, he was so friendly and kept checking in on our timing so he could be out front when we were ready. This was a great service, they picked us up at DCA, Reagan National Airport, told us to watch for a large black SUV and stand outside baggage claim, across the street. Within one minute we spotted it coming to the curb. Very professional, good driver. All 4 of us plus enough luggage for a weeks stay and there was plenty of room.
