I must say the my experience at clear image was very much more than expected. I was listened to, and they actually were very knowledgeable to tell me his opinion and one of three things it could be. He was upfront about the time frame if I decided to get the work done there. And his pricing leaving it up to me to move forward or not. Wasn't charged for the quote or would be diagnostic. As he was working on my car, he was talking me through exactly what he was doing. This helped me feel reassured that he wasn't breaking other parts of my car. Overall, I had an awesome experience and my AC is definitely working again. The price was a bit steep, but given the rarity in finding a store that would service cars that only use R-12 refrigerant, I think the price was right. I definitely recommend this place!

We drop off the vehicle and leave and within 30min we were called back for them to tell us it was the starter and that it would cost them $800 to fix. Knowing it's not an $800 job we brought it home and i removed the starter. Brought the starter up to an Autozone to have it bench tested and the starter is perfectly fine across all tests. Annoying I had to remove it to find that out but it is what it is. Just thought I would give a friendly warning to all of those who think about using them. Only two conclusions I can come to at this point is 1. They were trying to scam us or 2. They dont know what they are doing.

All six of our kids have had work done, from brakes to suspension, a/c, electrical, you name it. I'm critical about whoever the person is that touches our cars and they've proven every single time they deserve my trust. They've always been incredibly fair, they source great replacement parts and they always amaze me how fast they can turn even the complex jobs. Pricing has always been excellent, too. They take their time to explain everything they worked on, show you the old parts and are really patient in doing so. They've recently added a new mechanic, George, and he is equally friendly and eager to help. He's also got a great skillset brings even more quality to the shop. They've watched my kids grow up and know us all by name. While most any other shop is happy to take your money for even the simplest car needs, they encourage and teach my kids to do the simpler stuff themselves that don't really require proffessional service. That alone tells you how reputable they are. I highly reccommend skipping the headaches of overpriced dealership service departments, the gamble of letting a teenager change your oil at a chain store and other shops that give you a 12-page quote about all the critical problems they discovered in their "70-point check" when you simply ask for a tire rotation and take your business to Kal, Jake and George at Kwiker Tune and Lube!
