UPDATE...the business owner replied to this review, apparently he pissed someone else off because I paid in full, money was not even an issue, had to pull cash from ATM next door (because the one in front of the shop is non functional) This is a different customer, I was not rude, I was silently pissed. He did not stop working on else's vehicle to work on mine, after waiting 3 hours with no estimate on time on even looking at mine, I was literary on the phone with another shop a mile away when he finally freed up. My paperwork also states that this was the "primary cause of the Check Engine Light," which was confusing because my check-engine light was never on and never came on. Because the diagnosis didn't sit right with me, I decided to get a second opinion before paying for the recommended repair. I took my Mercedes to another shop, where they diagnosed the water pump as the actual cause of the overheating and confirmed the oil pump solenoid was not causing the problem. After replacing the water pump, my overheating issue was resolved. I understand that diagnosing vehicles isn't always perfect, but I specifically paid $225 to determine the cause of an overheating issue, and unfortunately, the actual cause was missed. I took the truck to Duane's in Euless. I am a long time customer there. They diagnosed the problem. The canister style oil filter housing was installed without the "O ring" I was shown a picture of the housing. O ring installed and leak fixed. You get what you pay for. So my cheap oil change cost me $200. Uber $40 84$ shop time at Duanne, 6.99 new filter and o ring. Plus the $60 original cost. Plus, a day off chasing this down and a puddle of oil on my driveway. Could have been A GM 3.6 VVT v6 though.

That's okay, those are nice amenities but not necessary. What they do have are kind, honest mechanics that you can trust. Trust is valuable when it comes to auto repair as all car owners know.
