One of my biggest concerns was the inconsistency in how the community rules were enforced. The office sent emails reminding residents that patios and entryways should only have furniture and approved curtains colors because they cared about maintaining the appearance of the property. However, for the entire year I lived there, one of my neighbors kept a broom, dust pan, dirty Tupperware containers, and pest control equipment outside their front door. I had to walk past it every day, and despite the property's emphasis on appearance, nothing was ever done about it. Another issue was noise. Residents were expected to follow quiet hours, yet the property itself didn't always follow those same expectations. On multiple occasions, the maintenance team started using leaf blowers about 30 minutes before quiet hours had ended, which seemed unfair considering how strictly residents were expected to comply with the rules. My biggest disappointment has been the move-out process. When I provided my forwarding address, I accidentally forgot to include the townhouse unit number. That was absolutely my mistake. However, I updated the information shortly afterward and have spent the last three weeks trying to contact the office to confirm the correction. Unfortunately, my emails and attempts to reach them have gone unanswered, and I feel like I've been completely ghosted. Overall, IMT is a nice place to live, but I wish the management applied community rules more consistently and communicated more effectively, especially after move-out.

Let's start from the beginning: I moved in last Tuesday (11/15), when it started to get dark I turned my lights on, about a hour in, the circuit popped. And continued to pop to the point that I just didn't have power anymore. I called the emergency maintenance number that was given to me in my folder, when I got a phone call back it was the number for a different property. Strange that they give you an emergency maintenance number for a different property. I did get maintenance there about 3 hours later, and he is a great guy. I was happy he could fix it. I then tried to turn on my heater, nope, doesn't work. Internet? Nope, not that either. After having light on in the apartment I could start to see how dirty it was. Large amounts of dust bunnies all over the walls, tape all over the blind top, orangish stains all over the top of the tub really just dirty. Next day I call the office, Rachel tells me it will get looked and that I could call cox and then called me to tell me its all fixed. Then, I came home from work to no heat and no internet. But I called cox and they said they could get me internet on Friday. I also emailed my move in form with photos of the cleanliness of my home. I get a response of, we knew about the stains and did what we could to get rid of them, but the cleanliness is surprising, thank you for the photos and I will add them to your file. Still no heat, haven't had any communication from the office about when it will be fixed. Friday, I reach out to speak with the manager Michael. Michael reaches out on Monday and to his surprise he knows nothing about my situation. He is quick to apologize and say he will get it cleaned but he doesn't have cleaners there and he will get the thermostat looked at. I hear nothing Tuesday, I reach out Wednesday (I'm living here for a week now with no heat) to speak to Michael but am told Michael is out of the office but iapartments will be out on the 30th to look at the thermostat but if you would like heat sooner feel free to call them and they give me a number. Called the number, wrong number, thank goodness for google because these people do not give you the right number for anything. Then get a message saying I can come pick up a little heater from the office. Oh and now my apartment will be cleaned on the 30th as well. Amazing how they think it is ok for people to live in a brand new apartment for 2 weeks without heat or having my apartment cleaned (which I cleaned because 2 WEEKS?) But besides all the stuff above it's a great location and beautiful property.

(aka the clowns) in charge. This place has gone seriously downhill with them and downhill fast!! They focus on the petty things, instead of things that matter to the residents. The apts are nice. But the property isn't well maintained. Dog poop everywhere! Dog pee all over the stairs and landings of stairwells. Newer tenants loud during quiet hours, dogs constantly barking. They'll tell you the train isn't that bad. lol ya ok. ITS A TRAIN!! Not only can you hear it, YOU CAN FEEL IT! Shakes the entire apt. It's bad. Quiet time til 8 am but they have landscapers mowing every Friday at 630am, sometimes earlier sometimes later. If you face the courtyard, every conversation echos, along with kids screaming and dogs barking but it's amplified. Happens at all hours, so you better be a deep sleeper. Parking is an absolute joke. They send Richard the special maint guy to ask for good reviews after he does his job fixing something. That shows you how desperate they are to fix their google rating. Pawning your helper to solicit good reviews? After doing his job, and poorly at that. Pathetic. You will have your package stolen at some point. Probably other tenants. Way overpriced for the crap you have to deal with. It was tolerable before Kyndell, but now it's time to move on. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere. I promise you that. We had our apt tested for mold and it came back positive. They send Richard in with a moisture monitor he doesn't know how to use. Guy says he's never seen mold either! What is he don't making these decisions for such a large company. Everything about this place is now a joke.

Extremely Disappointed with My Move-In Experience…read more I was excited to move into Stone Oaks Apartments, but my experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. From day one, the management team has demonstrated a serious lack of organization, communication, and accountability. On move-in day, I was told my keys would be in the unit at 7:30 AM. I arrived early in 113°F heat, only to find no keys and no one available to help. After waiting outside for over an hour and a half, someone finally showed up around 8:45 AM. By that point, it was far too hot to continue moving in. The problems didn't stop there. I was asked to come in on a Friday afternoon on short notice to sign documents, only to be told that the printer was out of paper and to return on Monday. My assigned parking spot was taken the next day, and I couldn't get the car towed because I never received a tow card. It took all day and multiple phone calls to finally get it resolved. When I tried to clean and settle in, the apartment smelled like smoke and was 90°F inside. The A/C had not been switched to occupied. On top of that, despite confirming in advance that the previous tenant's Cox account would be deactivated, it wasn't, so I couldn't set up internet and had to miss work. To top it all off, after all these issues were supposedly acknowledged by staff, I was still charged a carpet repair fee for damage caused by a previous tenant and their pet. Management confirmed this verbally, but still withheld the cost from my deposit. I've since involved legal counsel to recover this unfair charge. While one staff member (Drew) was apologetic and tried to help, the overall lack of preparedness and follow-through has caused significant financial loss and stress. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Stone Oaks Apartments to anyone. New residents deserve better.

Since the agents left the building to move somewhere else, this place got worst by far. Also, get ready to struggle with poor management. When you live at an apartment community you know that you will come across problems here and there but having an efficient staff that is able to handle those issues in a timely manner and with good communication is really what's important. This is the worst experience we've ever had nobody ever knows anything or can give you an actual answer. I sent in a work order June 9th for an electrical issue the bedroom light won't stay on longer than a couple minutes at a time they keep closing the work orders without fixing anything or just let them sit weeks at a time. 5 weeks later and it's still not done. (Note on first closed work order was "done." It was not done. Last time was "I went and knocked on the door resident said we already came but maybe it wasn't the resident I don't know I can go back and check") what? lol and then proceeded to never come back again after I told them they actually never came. Whenever you finally get a hold of someone and explain they say they will handle it and then nothing, every single time. Last week I sent in another work order because our cabinets are infested with hundreds of ants I've had to throw away all kinds of food and huge live roaches have started coming out of the drains and bathtubs. I asked for new weather stripping on the door because you can see outside with the door closed there's a huge gap where all the ants are coming in and for it to be sprayed. I asked for it to be taken care of that day or the next at the latest but they didn't send anybody for 5 days, finally they sent someone to spray (still no weather strip) but they once again dropped the ball and didn't give him keys or permission to enter even though I approved entry. When you tell them they're wrong they just ignore you. I called after I found out he didn't spray and told them they need to have him come right back and I've still received no response so once again we're sleeping with roaches but paying over $2500 a month? I'm still unable to buy new groceries until we get the infestation taken care of. They work remote you can't actually go to the office and talk to someone we've been here 6 months and I've never once met anyone it's horribly mismanaged and instead of holding themselves and their co workers accountable and trying to do a better job they just don't do anything at all it's been extremely frustrating. Seems as though all the other real reviews have the same complaints about staff I added them to the pictures as well as my own.

In the two years that we lived there, there was obviously a change in owners to mark taylor. The positive things I can say: For us, in apartment 1029, things were quite. It did not feel like we lived in an apartment, especially with the garage that was accessible from within the apartment and the long private walkway we had into our apartment. Noise above us was your typical apartment noise, and would sometimes fluctuate. There was a point in time where the people above us were exceptionally noisy, but I feel that the management from mark taylor handled the situation well by coming over when we called to assess the situation themselves and then addressing it with the neighbors above. I hated to complain, but at some point, especially when it's very late in the night, you have to respect your neighbors and quite down. Above all else, the maintenance crew is absolutely amazing. They seriously go above and beyond and they're all sooooo very friendly, fast and efficient! The design of the apartment is very modern and cute and the material used for the build is high quality. We never had issues with the appliances. The pool and clubhouse are all a nice little getaway. At one point we rented out the clubhouse for my husbands birthday and watched the manny pacquiao fight. The exterior was always well kept with the landscapers coming often and I never smelled dog poop or urine when we would go for walks. My only complaints are: towards the end of our stay there, for some reason the landscapers stopped leaf blowing our walk way into apartment 1029, so there would be a moderate amount of dirt and leaves and small trash items that I had to sweep myself. Secondly, the gates into the apartment seemed to malfunction often. Thirdly, in comparison to the office staff when it was Jefferson chandler, the Morrison chandler office staff were nice, but not always friendly. Justin, Jessica, and Derek with the original office staff members and they were amazing, polite, and so friendly. They felt like friends when we would see them around or go to the front office. Whereas the new staff, although nice, have more of a business feel. When I would walk into the front office with the current staff, I always felt they would stare as to say "ohhh what is she here for" instead of saying "hello, how can we help you" or even a "hey, how have you been!?" as soon as I walked in the door. Again, not a big deal, but something I observed between Jefferson staff and Morrison staff. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment. My now family of 4 grew out of the two bedroom two bath apartment, but if we didn't have children, my husband and I would most certainly still be in apartment 1029. We were blessed with our temporary home and all the memories that were made there. Thank you, Morrison Chandler and to the old Jefferson Chandler. Living there was the perfect end to our apartment living chapter!
