Mr. Davo came and picked up our vehicle with his towing truck, and ran the diagnostics, kept us informed and completed the repairs. The fact he went the extra mile to take care of us, says a lot. He truly shows his passion through his work, and teaching his students. He's very honest and will always give you his best advice in regards to anything concerning your vehicle. After paying, no repairs were completed and the vehicle was returned in the same condition. The charge turned out to be for diagnostics only, but it was not clearly distinguished as such. I took my car there a couple of days later and Bogie (his nickname) took care of my car and charged a fair price. I looked around for some mechanic shops nearby and found Sheffield Automotive through Yelp. I called, and the owner told me he had availability two days from now in the morning. He said that if I got it in first thing in the morning, he could have it out by lunchtime. I drive a Volvo, and he said that he would go ahead and order the brake pads ahead of time since those parts aren't as common in the area. I showed up first thing this morning, dropped off the car, and was greeted by a very friendly owner who was seamless. The drop-off while I waited for my pickup was very easy. He offered coffee or water, which was very kind. He called me even earlier than expected and told me that they were ready to go, even though they had had a couple other jobs before me. Overall, it was a great experience. He did not try to upsell me on other services that needed to happen. It was an easy in and out, and I would definitely use them again if I lived in the area or if I was traveling back in the area and needed some mechanic. Replacement brake pads on the rear were about $286, which seemed reasonable. I do most of my work myself, but this wasn't terrible for probably one or two hours of work.
