So, I called to ask about the wait and they said probably around 15 mins, so I was about 10 mins away and felt this would be my best option. It wasn't the gentleness threading I'm used to, but she got the job done and my brows looked great. I felt like they hurt a bit after for a couple of days, so I was wondering if I'd been cut, but I just took care of it at home in my routine moisture care maintenance. I visited Tips'N Toes for the first time on Saturday…read more Firstly, the ambiance of the location was very serene and inviting. I created an appointment, however, I unfortunately chose a "gel manicure" instead of the correct "acrylic-full set" that I usually get. Definitely a mistake on my end, however, the nail technician was able to explain to me the error in my booking and how she does not work with acrylic. I instead opted to have my daughter get her nails and toes done. The process was very easy and Vladlena made sure that she was comfortable, however, by the time I got in the car my daughters toe-nail polish was coming off and by the time I got home she only had polish on 4/10 fingers which was a huge disappointment due to the fact that my daughter was very excited to get them done. Moving forward, I really hope this issue can be rectified.

Ultimately, I'd rather pay a few dollars more to ensure the person who owns the business and performs the work is very motivated to do a good job. Short Pump has crazy rent prices, too, even somewhere like Sola. I'm always so impressed with the owner. After my first visit, my skin broke out and I assumed it was the cream. When I went back, I told her and she seemed genuinely concerned and happy to help ensure this didn't happen again. She asked me to text her the next day to let her know if it worked so she could make a note in my file. I thought that was very kind that she cared so much. It is also a nice, comfortable room. Highly recommend!

I visited habit after looking for a spa for a facial as a Valentine's Day treat to myself. I…read morereceived a lot of ads about habit after searching and they were offering a new customer special. I received a custom facial from Lani and it was a great experience. She was super friendly and explained exactly what products she'd use based on my skin from her observation and my concerns. The facial was awesome and I'd love to put it in my routine consistently but it'd be a bit of a splurge for me. Now the space itself was beautiful but could use some improvements for customer experience. First the room I received my facial didn't have a curtain it was open which made it hard to relax and wind down because I could hear people moving throughout the spa and talking. A lot of talking. Not obnoxiously just more than I'd care to hear since I came to relax. Lastly. The music choices could also be a bit more relaxing like calming/soothing instrumentals rather than music with lyrics. Overall I'd visit again but some changes could make this a much better experience.

The facial was good, the products felt great on my skin and left it shining and flawless, and the facial massage was heavenly. In the downside, we were taken back over 10 minutes past our appointment times and the majority of the appointment was spent asking questions and talking. Additionally, the spa does not have a traditional facial with spa robes etc as it is all in the open so that takes away from the spa feel. Overall, the facial was great and I would definitely go back again!

My eyebrows were literally hurting afterward because she took off so much of my natural brow hair. When I asked for a refund, Titi told me she wasn't giving me my money back because I didn't want her or another tech to "fix" my brows -- even though more threading would've made the damage worse. I've had good experiences with other techs here, but I do not recommend Titi. She ruined my eyebrows and refused to give me my money back.
