My very first time here.Never again!I went in looking for an ombre french tip, I was told she couldnt do it...fine no biggie so I picked out a solid nude color, as she started painting it had dawned on me she picked a pink color that she "thought looked nice" I pull my hands out from under the UV lights and notice my nails dried clumpy from all 5 coats of paint (1 clear coat, 3 coats pink, and a matte coat) I am at this point so upset I shake my head and ask her to just remove the polish.She then says " no no ill fix for you" I again say "no.just remove it now!" In my mind im thinking I am a paying customer....you couldnt do the color I came in looking for, you then paint my nails the color you thought would look good, and then cant even put 2 coats of a nude on my nails. All said and done she STILL charged me 35$...I dont mind paying for her time and half the set of nails...but after all the service...wow.Some poor customer service! Horrible. read more

I want in for a simple FILL, and the lady (I think the owner) took off my nails when I had just gotten them done a month before (at my normal place) and put a full set on. Not only did she do a shitty job but the lady who painted them did worse. I will NEVER go back again. Lesson learned! I wouldn't even give it 1 star but it's making me. read more

Horrible! If you come you might want to lock the door behind you so no one else can come in and then have your service go straight down the drain. We made an appointment for pedicures and as soon as someone walked in the door they couldn't get us done fast enough to move on to the next person. Yet those getting manicures received the best service. Don't waste you time!! 20 minute deluxe pedicure....waste of money! We told the owner about our experience and got laughed at! read more

I made my mom and I an appointment here on Mother's Day to get pedicures it was offal we showed up right when our appointment was and it was still closed when someone finally showed up it was only 1 person he had us sit in the seats and started doing my moms pedicure 20 min later someone else showed up and started doing my pedicure and they finished mine the same time as my moms completely half a## I will never go here ever again read more

Terrible service!! Anna is never friendly. She thinks she is really funny, but she is actually being flat out rude to her customers. I went to pay with my debit card once, and HER terminal was not working so instead of staying calm, she told me to write her check after I explained to her that it's 2014 and I don't carry checks. She decided to say you work at a bank and you don't carry checks?! What does that have anything to do with... I have watched her tell a customer that they were late for their appointment so she skipped over them, and wouldn't take them at all for that night. They are always rushed to get people out of there. I went in there recently with a friend who was getting her nails done. I was looking over some shellac colors and I looked up and said Anna is there someone here that could do my nails. She said to me "I could tell you wanted something" I told her yeah I do. I am a customer. She said not really. Which I am, I don't know her other then from the salon. My most recent situation, I got a manicure just last week and you can see on my nail under the polish there is a nasty hair in it. I asked her to re do it and she complained that I was asking her to do all my nails over (which I wasn't) when I told her to re do only one she told me that she didn't have time for me. This is the worse nail salon around. We pay a pretty penny to get our nails done. I have given up on dazzle nail and will NEVER return. read more

I have been going to Dazzle Nails for over 6 years. My sister has been seeing Anna for over 16. I ALWAYS get compliments on how beautiful my nails are. I have never had a problem with service nor breakage since I have been seeing her. I believe that unfortunately people in today's world look for reasons to pick others apart. The reviews on here are truly sad. This woman goes above and beyond for her clients as well as supports her family via this business. It is truly sad that we live in a world where people will look for ways to attack businesses to make themselves feel better. Her licenses are posted and she is and always has been up to code. I have been to other facilities and developed problems with my nails. Anna made sure the health of my nails are always cared for. I hope by posting this anyone reading the other posts will understand that a business can't make everyone happy. Especially a business such as dealing with women who may be on their period and simply looking for a reason to complain instead of be grateful. It's just very sad the general public doesn't find ways to say thank you anymore. We would rather complain. I won't have anyone else touch my nails but Anna. I went in for a gel manicure which in my opinion was very over priced, $28 not including tip. The guy that did my nails was nice but talked on the phone (his personal phone) almost the entire time. I asked for a different color on my ring finger and he was so distracted with his phone call he painted my ring finger the wrong color and I had to remind him that I asked for a different color, he didn't apologize, just wiped it off and continued his phone call. When he was giving me my "hand massage" he was bickering with a friend/family member of his who was hanging out behind his station, speaking a different language paying no attention to me as a customer and totally neglecting me to make conversation at some points. As he rubbed the lotion into my hand my pinky stung really bad and when I looked, the tip of my pinky was bleeding. I don't know if it was from the filing or the clipping, but he made me bleed. Definitely wouldn't recommend, and I will not be going back here again. read more

I would like to know why are the REAL & GENUINE reviews of this sub par at best business filtered???? You have 4 filtered and 4 showing with only ONE good review.....I think it is clear and ALL reviews should be shown when of this magnitude to give patrons a fair interpretation and if they so choose to still patron - then so be it. I use to go here all the time and stopped going when I had a baby. I recently went back and got a full set from Anna, who usually does a good job. This time I felt rushed and my nails ended up thick and uneven. I came back early, before two weeks for a fill... and a male did my nails this time. He completely rushed and LITERALLY cut everyone of my cuticles with the drill. I left in SO much pain... went home and soaked my nails in Epsom salt for two days so they wouldn't get infected. That just did it for me... I will never go back... However I did find an AMAZING place in Happy Valley called Vogue Salon and Nails and they pamper you and actually make sure your nails are perfect. Take your money elsewhere ladies. Don't go to Dazzle nails. read more

I cannot begin to relay reasons a person should not go there. When I arrived, they called in someone to do the nails (apparently she lives a few minutes away). She was groggy and, frankly, seemed pissed off she was awakened up to go to work! Poor job. Lots of edgy nails I had to re-file once I arrived home. OMG. read more

I've had manicures and pedicures off and on since 1993 at several different locations, including the Mt. Hood Community College cosmetology program. Dazzle Nails is by far the worst salon I've ever entered. They don't retain a receptionist, so you're not sure what to do or who to talk to. Once noticed, I tried to make an appointment, but it was obvious everyone was busy. I took a brochure and since the prices were very reasonable, I called to make an appointment. The person answering the phone talked too fast to be understood, but I managed to make an appointment. When I arrived for my appointment, again it was difficult to be noticed. I sat for a while until a young man came and directed me to a chair to have the polish changed on my toenails. He asked if I had brought my own file, which was not mentioned when I made the appointment. I had not, so he offered to sell me one for $3. I declined, but perhaps I should have made the small purchase. In other salons they will use cheap, throw-away type of files and I assumed that is what he would use. I shudder to think how many fingernails and toenails that file has touched. VERY unsanitary. He quickly removed my original polish - at least most of it - an put on a base coat, color and top coat. I felt that was sufficient for $10. I was then directed to the nail station, where my hand soak was the shortest on record. He barely pushed back my cuticles, but I was OK with that since it didn't appear the instrument had been sterilized. He then proceeded to trim my cuticles. I was a fast and furious trimming. The hand massage was fine, but the lotion wasn't of the same quality you get at other salons. A quick heat wrap, then one coat of polish and apparently I was done. I guess I shouldn't have expected more for $15. It appears they are more interested in how many clients they can get through the doors in a day than in providing quality service. If you're looking for a relaxing, pampered manicure or pedicure, this is not the place for you. If you're a stickler for cleanliness, this is not the place for you. I used to go to Anna when she first opened this salon, but the service and quality of the manicure went downhill quickly. When I decided to stop going to Anna she left a nasty phone message on my cell phone. Then I recently heard that several people in the community had also experienced terrible manicures, rude behavior, unsanitary conditions, etc. In checking online today with the Oregon Secretary of State, she apparently did not renew her assumed business name license for her company with the State on March 31, 2012 as she should have; therefore, she has been conducting business WITHOUT a license since April 1, 2012. (According to ORS 648.135, if anyone suffers an injury as a result of their negligence, they can recover damages of $500, plus their attorney's fees. She can also be assessed a $100 penalty by the State for still conducting business.) I believe the City of Sandy also requires a license, which she apparently has let lapse as well. I certainly hope if anyone else suffers any more nail problems (that become serious or infected) they will seek an attorney. She needs to be reported. read more

I called the salon and scheduled an appt for two mani/pedis. When we were seated in the pedi chair and our feet were in the water the owner told us that they were closing soon and didn't have time to do a full separate mani/pedi so they started our manis while doing our pedis which is worthless to me. If I just wanted to get my toes and nails painted I would have said so. The mom of the owner did my pedi and it was not worth ten dollars let alone the 20 plus they charged. The owner then went on to do my friend's mani and was incredibly rude to both of us. She clearly and loudly stated that her intention was to get us out of the salon by 5:30 pm and did not have the time to do the full procedures. She and her employees proceeded to hurriedly finish our manis/pedis with the worst results that I have ever experienced in my 20 plus years of paying for these services. She charged us the full price and because the choices of nail colors was so poor we had to buy our own polish at a cost of $7.00 per bottle. I could go on and on but I will conclude with I have informed and filed a complaint with the cosmetology board, the better business bureau and whomever those agencies refer me to. Also the owner continued to service walk-in with pedis and other nail services. I will never visit that salon again and I would urge others to find a different place. One more thing, on top of everything else, the salon was extremely dirty and the staff's clothing looked like they had been wearing the same uniform for weeks. The WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I've ever delt with! These people that work here have never made me feel welcomed. Was there a week ago and the lady that did my nails made me feel that I was more of a bother. I couldn't help but notice as I was waiting in my car out front for Dazzle Nails to open @ 10am here come approx. 5 employees all together and I'm not trying to be mean but each and everyone of them looked like they'd been up all night, like they were dreading going to work. I've worked in customer service for 35+ years and this is NOT how you treat your customers if you want repeat customers!! The last 2 times I've went there.. I left there bleeding, not to mention I can't help but notice the unsanitary conditions as well. Twice now I've ended up with an infection. My mother ended up with a FOOT FUNGUS from their foot bath!! Last week was my last time as a Customer of Dazzle Nails. THESE PEOPLE ARE EXTREMELY RUDE!!! read more
