Morning joe!
Allison M.

Came here the other day for my "work from home ". Absolutely perfect place to knock out some work and to feel like you're in the company of family. The staff was incredibly warm and helpful from the get-go. They washed and used my coffee mug and gave me a discount. I went ahead and rang up a refill because I knew I'd be there a while. Their coffee, just the drip, was incredible. Tasted so fresh. Diverse options for cream as well. If you're into that. I also got a quiche from their bakery area. They have a few little big goods that seemed to be locally made. Unfortunately the quiche to quite long time and I found it to be small for the price. I am thankful that they had a veggie option, but next time I went up for a different pastry. I really adore places that do day-old bakery items for a discount because I hate wasting. I did get some coffee cake that was day-old and it was a little hard as expected but overall the flavor was delicious. Again, I would definitely opt for a fresh pastry or just stick with a coffee at this place. Overall if you wanted to experiment no harm done because they definitely have fair prices. Even though it looks small they have a ton of cozy little options and various seating arrangements whether you're solo or with others. Even a little outdoor space as well. And plenty of parking!

Great spot for working! Plenty of seats, quiet atmosphere, and there's a nice gift shop just a few steps away. Follow us for more local reviews @Miles.The.Van

This was the closet coffee shop to the Air BnB we were staying so we decided to pop in for our morning dose of caffeine. Service was speedy and there was ample parking available. I selected a Cafe Miel and my husband got his usual Americano. My Miel was good, definitely heavy on the honey side. The Americano was alright, nothing special stuck out about it. All in all, this served as a nice shop for coffee without needing to travel far in the morning.

A great coffee place in Asheville! Some friends and I stopped here on our way out of town to get some caffeine on the way back home. I ordered a coffee with steamed almond milk, which was amazing and perfectly hot. You get the option of a light or dark roast coffee as well. The barista working was friendly, and together with the other person working at Mountain Mojo, they made a very efficient team. In addition to plain brewed coffee, there were a variety of lattes, frozen and specialty drinks on the menu as well. Mountain Mojo also had Brueggers Bagels, and some other pastries and muffins as well if you've got an appetite! Glad we skipped the coffee chain and took a chance at this local java joint!

Everything that we had at Mountain Mojo was delicious! It's a cute little cabin on the old Charlotte Highway, and my sister and I stopped in on our way to go hiking. We hadn't been here before, and there was only one car in the parking lot when we arrived, so we approached with some trepidation despite the excellent reviews. Our expectations were fully met for a five star review. The service was friendly, and we both received good advice on what beverages to choose (me for which drip coffee and my sister on the Mexican mocha). We had our choice of tables on a weekday at 8 AM, and we sat and enjoyed the gluten-free banana bread along with our drinks. The music was classic late 70s pop rock (ELO, SuperTramp, Paul Simon), and there was local artwork for sale.

We stopped in to Mountain Mojo for breakfast and coffee on our recent trip to Asheville. We ordered yogurt parfaits, bagels, and coffees. The young men behind the counter were very attentive, super friendly, and kind to our kids. The coffee was great, and the food was very good too. The yogurt parfait was really tasty with granola, dried fruit, and of course yogurt. The bagels are self serve, so you pick them out of the basket and toast them and butter them yourself. There's also baked goods available if you have a sweet tooth. Overall, Mountain Mojo is a great place to grab coffee and a quick breakfast.

Storefront, kind of a cabin in the woods

Outstanding place to enjoy coffee and warm ambience. Not MMojo anymore though. Now it's Day Moon.
