I've been coming here for several years. While I don't think they're by any means a fancy donut shop, for me and my family and friends they are the best for miles due to quality, freshness, service and price. There's a reason I give them a 5 star because for me they jelly fill the donuts per order so you get to pick your donut, your jelly or cream filled choice, and I can ask for extra jelly with no problems! I love the chocolate covered donut with extra blueberry or raspberry filling, just delicious! They also have croissants and pigs in a blanket both plain or jalapano stuffed. They have coffee also (no decaf unfortunately) and other drinks such as OJ and apple juice , etc. The prices are average, service is good and fast, location is convenient with plenty of parking. read more

The people there are friendly they work hard to make the best donuts in town and I must say that there are the best donuts I've ever had. I always buy their donut holes and their bow ties. Sometimes I'm in there about 2 to 3 times a week but if you haven't tried daylight donuts on Tennessee Street you need to take a trip out there. I'm not sure what happened to this franchise.. it use to have great donuts of all types.. maybe it was the whole covid thing ... whatever it is though, there quality has been left behind.. and when you go inside, it would be really nice if you saw some of there better donuts on display other than the generic glazed, chocolate, an creme filled... Fresh hot doughnuts are always a hit with me. Soon as I walked in the door I was in love with the place. Service is engaging, pleasant and genuine. Smiles abound here, on both sides of the counter. Wide assortment of pasty treat, not just doughnuts. Apple fritters are Devine. What is a fritter and can we even say the word now that Aunt Jemima is gone? This morning I choose to live dangerously. Threw caution to the wind,ventured out to Daylight Donuts. This was no day for eggs and biscuits, I wanted sugar, an apple fritter. I could have ordered two but was already way out on a limb. Got home and popped it in the micro 15 seconds and sat. A little crunchy on the outside a little moist with apple goodness inside. Second or third time I've been there. Donuts are nothing special. Oil gave the donuts an old oil taste.

The service is helpful and warm. We got the pig in the blanket which was different but good. I recommend it to be combined with a glaze or sugar coating as another item to serve. The glaze donut was also good. Def a place to check out read more
