    Dayoff Tacos.

The Dayoff tacos were absolutely delicious! Fresh fish and shrimp. Guacamole was great also. Made at our table. Table had a view of the water. Plenty of umbrellas for shade. Very delightful experience!

Great service and food. Seafood tacos were awesome and the two for one margaritas kicked me on my ass. Gonna come back for sure next trip!!!

This is only for drinks... I would never eat here. Ordered an electric iced tea large size it was 12.50 US for a large cup of pop with "stuff" floating inside the glass . We had ordered 2 of these and the other party thought the flooding debris was from maybe the orange slice but I disagreed drank about 2 inches of the cup and tossed the rest away and left.

We were wandering at Malecon area and we stomped to this restaurant for lunch. I ordered the fish fillet with rice and salad. Fish tasted so fresh and really flavourful. Daughter had coconut shrimp, mashed potatoes and salad and they tasted scrumptious as my daughter said. Hubby had a seafood burrito with wedge potatoes. It was really flavourful, all taste so fresh! So different taste back home. The price was reasonable. The only hiccup we had was their card machine was broke so I had to ran to the atm machine to get cash to pay. The service was good. I would recommend to others to try!

We were with friends walking the Malecon on a Friday night. We were hungry and chose Day Off because there were more people eating there than other places in the vicinity. For a touristy joint, the prices were not too bad, but definitely higher than the the 45 pesos I paid the night before for 3 tacos. Husband and I had mango habanero wings, which were pretty good, on the border of almost too spicy, after the waitress said they were mild. We are in Mexico, so it's all relative and we like hot. Our friends shared a hefty mound of nachos and some traditional wings. They seemed to enjoy them. There was enough left over to take home, for both couples Music videos in the background blaring out the Stones, Queen, and other boomer bands had us playing "What that song??" They know how to catch us! Eating on the Malecon, in the restaurants, it appears the Mexican fare is geared towards the Canaduans and Amercans. Not really traditional Mexican. This isn't a bad thing, but if you want true Mexican dishes, get off the Malecon and go back a few streets. With the exception of the food vendors lined up and down, its a show and fight for the tourists.

Got caught here in a rainstorm- the umbrellas were dripping and pouring rain on us- but they kept serving two for one Rita's and Mojitos. And the TVs were playing an old Elvis goes Hawaii movie. Food was good, we had shrimp quesadillas with home made tortillas. Pretty tasty.

After looking up good places to go, Bar La Playa came up- and I'm sure glad it did! First, it's easy to get to if you're coming from North. Our Uber was easily able to drop us off without getting stuck in gridlock traffic that can affect certain roads of this area. Additionally, the location isn't a high-traffic area for tourists. That meant we were able to walk up and immediately find seats. Second, the service was top notch. I didn't get the bartenders name, but he was very welcoming, friendly, hospitable and spoke English. Just an overall cool dude and was glad to support his business. Third, the drinks were great. Finally, we were drinking 'real' drinks, not the watered down sugary stuff at the hotel. We were very satisfied with the taste of the drinks. Fourth, the prices are really good. Mexico has gotten expensive and this was a sigh of relief. You can have a great time here without feeling like you paid an arm and a leg. I highly-highly recommend making Bar La Playa your first stop when coming to this area. You're going to get great service, great drinks and all at a price that is reasonable and fair.

They use tanqueray as their house gin which is unusual but a pleasant surprise as it actually happens to be my preferred brand. I didn't have high hopes for the martini - I find that outside of major U.S. cities places end up putting in way too much vermouth - and it actually ended up being fantastic. It didn't taste too different from what I would make at home which is probably the best thing I could say about a martini (for my own personal taste). I tried a fruitier one - the Gigi - as my second and final drink. It was good but I'm just not a fruity drink person. I just wasn't equipped to handle another standard martini lol. The ambiance is phenomenal - it was both casual and comfortable yet classy. The crowd was much older than I expected although not in a bad way at all. There were lots of expats in their 50s and 60s. I was worried it would be a rowdy rooftop and by contrast it was actually a very chill vibe. Only complaint is that the bathroom is outside of the venue down the stairs and you need a key to enter, which was a bit annoying bc I wanted to use the restroom before I left and I forgot to ask for the key on my way out. Small annoyance and certainly wouldn't prevent me from going back.

They were pretty nice to us, just a touch rude to another group of patrons from what I saw while we were here - at least at the door. The bartenders are fun. The music is epic. High energy. Outside patio area is gorgeous. We didn't stay here long at all. We just didn't vibe with this hot spot as much as other places, but still a great place. You'll find people engaged in all sorts of activities ....eating, drinking, dancing, and socializing. Andale is the place to have a great time. Today, for some reason, the restaurants and bars on the street seemed less crowded. It was a Wednesday night when we finally stepped foot into Andale's. We ordered margaritas, shots of anejo tequila, and a beverage; we had already had dinner elsewhere. The DJ was playing a mix of 90s R&B, reggaeton, country, and pop music, and the whistle blowing from the staff added to the lively and exciting atmosphere. I must admit, though, the loud whistle blowing now and then annoyed me, I managed to drown it out somehow. The sidewalk actually runs right between their outdoor seating and the entrance, so you can't help but notice it. It looked relaxed, not too busy, and the staff greeted me as I walked by. I took a quick look at the menu, spotted my favorite tacos, and that was all I needed--I stayed. I asked to sit outside since it was such a beautiful day, with a gentle breeze coming through. Perfect setting. I ordered a beer, some guacamole and chips to start, and the al pastor plate. The guacamole was a great portion--easily enough for two--and I loved that it was chunky with a nice texture and "bite" to it. It came with chips and salsa, making it a solid starter. Then came the al pastor tacos... so good. At first glance, I didn't see any pineapple and thought, wait a minute... but once I took a bite, I realized it was mixed in with the meat--little bits of sweetness tucked into the savory, slightly charred pork. That balance of flavors really brought it together. Service was friendly and attentive, and I noticed a few regulars stopping by and chatting with the staff. That's always a great sign--it tells you this place has a real connection with the people who come here often. Overall, great food, great service, and a welcoming vibe. I'd definitely come back again.
