Build your own burger!! So good. Half pound of fun!

I've been here a few times and it's proven to be consistently good with good service. It's attached to the Sheraton hotel giving it a great location to n the Hotel zone. And the beers! They serve 1 liter draft beers for you to enjoy all with a full bar. And what better way to watch your favorite team than on one of the many TVs mounted within or on the mega tv over the bar which seems to be about 10-12 feet across (it's a projector).

There was a UFC fight during our trip to PV, so of course we needed to find a spot to watch it. This bar has numerous TVs as well as a huge screen behind the bar. The nachos were not traditional nachos that you would expect in Mexico and the menu was mainly American/Americanized food. Compared to other restaurants we have been to in the area, Nine Ninety was more expensive and not as good.

Poblano burger with fries was top notch! So good!!!

Very clean, hip restaurant, US vibe. Good food and good customer service! A little on the high end but you're paying for good quality and American vibe.

Nice place good food but.....DON'T TAKE CASH???? What kinda place don't take cash. I thought the guy was pulling my leg...... Awkwardly I had to go back to the room to get credit card. UPDATE: my concierge informed me today that it was a cashless establishment. So we went back 1 more time and we're greeted with some recognition. With a card ready this time, we ordered our meal which was quite tasty. When ready to close out the bill, I was going to leave a cash tip, and the server said to me "you weren't happy with the service or you're leaving a cash tip?" while handing me the handheld card reader. I told him cash and after an awkward silence, he eased up. If any of the websites or reviews we read states that it was cashless it would have been different.

Shrimp tacos, mango habanero wings with bbq ribs and wedges

Food was great! Although the tacos where very small, they where delicious. Ranch was a little watery but decent. Ribs where perfectly cooked and lathered with the perfect amount of sauce. Fast service, servers were attentive and friendly. Ambiance was nice! Will be coming back :)

A great spot in PV to watch sports. I don't think I have ever seen a bigger TV than theirs. They have a plenty of other small screens around, too if you want to be safe and make sure you don't miss a single important moment. This sports bar is a part of the hotel but easily accessible for non-hotel guests. They have a great cocktails selection, lots of craft beers in bottles (only a couple of national beers on draft) and also some wine options. We have not had the opportunity to dine here but it is a good place to grab a drink and catch your favorite game, for sure. Cheers

AGUACHILES negro & verde. Both are delicious. The darker one has a nice bold, smoky flavor.

I noticed there were not too many reviews on this yet here so I figured as someone who uses yelp all the time, I should leave a review for them because they are a wonderful establishment. Delicious incredible cocktails, great staff, great food, very clean, definitely recommend!

Don't let this sports bar fool you. The food is great and the service even better. Omar and his staff knows how to take care of their customers! Surf and Turf is a must try. Also the prices were great.

Our server Juan was amazing. He's lively and was ver attentive. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for chill vibes and good food!

After looking up good places to go, Bar La Playa came up- and I'm sure glad it did! First, it's easy to get to if you're coming from North. Our Uber was easily able to drop us off without getting stuck in gridlock traffic that can affect certain roads of this area. Additionally, the location isn't a high-traffic area for tourists. That meant we were able to walk up and immediately find seats. Second, the service was top notch. I didn't get the bartenders name, but he was very welcoming, friendly, hospitable and spoke English. Just an overall cool dude and was glad to support his business. Third, the drinks were great. Finally, we were drinking 'real' drinks, not the watered down sugary stuff at the hotel. We were very satisfied with the taste of the drinks. Fourth, the prices are really good. Mexico has gotten expensive and this was a sigh of relief. You can have a great time here without feeling like you paid an arm and a leg. I highly-highly recommend making Bar La Playa your first stop when coming to this area. You're going to get great service, great drinks and all at a price that is reasonable and fair.

They use tanqueray as their house gin which is unusual but a pleasant surprise as it actually happens to be my preferred brand. I didn't have high hopes for the martini - I find that outside of major U.S. cities places end up putting in way too much vermouth - and it actually ended up being fantastic. It didn't taste too different from what I would make at home which is probably the best thing I could say about a martini (for my own personal taste). I tried a fruitier one - the Gigi - as my second and final drink. It was good but I'm just not a fruity drink person. I just wasn't equipped to handle another standard martini lol. The ambiance is phenomenal - it was both casual and comfortable yet classy. The crowd was much older than I expected although not in a bad way at all. There were lots of expats in their 50s and 60s. I was worried it would be a rowdy rooftop and by contrast it was actually a very chill vibe. Only complaint is that the bathroom is outside of the venue down the stairs and you need a key to enter, which was a bit annoying bc I wanted to use the restroom before I left and I forgot to ask for the key on my way out. Small annoyance and certainly wouldn't prevent me from going back.

We were here for the cocktails of course, so we hit the main floor first, then made our way up to the third floor before settling in the outdoor courtyard. It's a multi-story bar lounge to hang and enjoy some great cocktails as well as some amazing music and music videos from all over. They closed a little earlier than normal the night we stopped in, a bit surprising for a Saturday night but definitely still enjoyable since we closed the bar out on the patio of the top floor overlooking the street with two solid drinks. Our bartender was really easy going offered for us to pick a few videos but one of the customers was on a role so we just let them have it - only a little off after they started skipping videos. The entire layout is very fun, definitely watch you step and your head if you're tall like me and the novio. Definitely a great spot to wrap up the night and/or start it off. The second level has this amazing wide patio deck with a beautiful mural. Definitely need to hang there a bit next time. We only had one minor issue with change here, but it got resolved really easily. Everyone we met was kind, friendly and welcoming even the person living their best life as the impromptu video dj of the night shot after shot. It's a full bar, no eats, but nothing but great energy and beats.
