Did not eat here but came by for the charity bingo they do on Wednesday afternoon 3-6 pm. It was for the local dog and cat spay charity. Great cause and they do it every other week. We were put in their upstairs music area. Very nice set up and it is air conditioned and with fans. Was very comfortable on a sunny warm day. The service by our waiter was fantastic. Was always around when we needed a refill on our beer. Pacifico and Coronas were 25 pesos and margaritas 40 pesos. They did have food but we did not try any of it. If you go to Nacho Daddy, you MUST try the banana margarita. It's absolutely delicious! The customer service is also on point. One day, we stopped in for a banana margarita, and through some miscommunication in the language, the bar tender ran out for bananas just for us. Then, we came another day and he could see he was running low on bananas and had a staff member grab some because he knew us as the banana margarita people. It's so appreciative he would go out of his way for us. Excellent bar tender. The restaurant/bar is a chill vibe and every time we felt so welcomed. Spent my 50th birthday at Nacho Daddy watching the 49ers vs. Chiefs game. The owner, Sean, was super sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. Crispy tacos and the bean dip were really good, along with the margaritas. Lots of TVs to watch football and we heard they have live music as well. Meh. During a recent visit to PV a group of us ended up at Nacho Daddy. My bro lives in the area and likes the place so he wanted to take the family there. There were 9 people in our party. We arrived one night fairly late and was seated immediately. It was really stuffy in the restaurant (no AC), but they had giant fans nearby which was helpful. Our waiter was attentive and pleasant. The owner also came by to chat briefly and he seemed highly affable too. I just had the tacos, rice and beans. It was okay. Average at best and definitely something akin to what you'd fine in the states. There wasn't much authentic about it. Some other members in my party had the shrimp and vegetables which looked really good. My brother wasn't very hungry so he ordered the tortilla soup which he liked. My sister opted for the country fried steak. She said it was just okay. She didn't like the corn at all. Most of my party was happy with the food, but I wasn't that impressed with it. It tasted like food from an average chain restaurant one might visit in America. There are much better dining options in Puerto Vallarta if you know where to look. read more

We were able to watch the Blazers play at the bar and met some wonderful locals that were from the states orginally. really great people. Since they cater to tourists they try hard to impress. The food was ok, but I ended up having much better food in the area. Creamy mix is cheeses, perfectly crispy and melty, and the chicken inside was just spot in perfect. I asked for mucho caliente hot sauce and the waitress paused... Then returned with the sauce is the gods. Hot but not like super crazy crazy, and so delicious. This is the local [older] gringo hangout to find great music and tasty food. I find it a bit expensive for how divey it appears, but the food is delicious and I haven't seen a band I didn't like. The downstairs hosts a bar, kitchen, and several tables for dining. Upstairs is air conditioned with tables, chairs, a stage and small dance floor, and a tiny balcony overlooking Basilio Badillo for the smokers to gather. Checked this place out the ladt night of my trip. Ordered the Country Fried Chicken. It was pretty aeesome and tender. The gravy was good and the mashed potatoes were good as well. I was perplexed with the Fried Corn on the Cob but even it was not bad. The resturaunt has entertainment but I didn't check it out tonight. We visit Puerto Vallarta every year and it is amazing. We were asked to join some friends on an evening of food and good music. We were not disappointed. The venue is small and intimate with enough seating for the tickets sold. Hint: bar tops are best for views of performances. The food was great and the bar service was wonderful. Nice pours from the bartenders. My husband and I shared the nachos and a couple of margaritas. The nachos were stacked high with lots of beef and jalapenos that plumped the lips. The entertainment was spectacular! Amy Armstrong is a must see when in PV. Nacho Daddy's was a perfect venue to see this amazing artist at. The sound, the seating, and the music! Ahhhh! Y'all...Amy Armstrong is one of the best vocalists around. She did a Beetle's medley with a band that used classic Spanish guitar to put a wonderful spin on the sound. We came to Nacho Daddy primarily to watch the Texas Embassy Blues Band play the theater upstairs. Turns out they do some pretty good food here too! I loved my "Irish" nachos with chicken! The staff was friendly and cool about us taking our food and drinks up to the theater when it was time for the band to play. I tell you what, the Texas Embassy Blues Band puts out some of the best Blues music in Puerto Vallarta! Of course I don't know how anybody could have the blues in paradise but they are a great band! read more

Louder does not make you sound better. The show upstairs was also too loud. It actually hurt my ears. I left midway through the show.
