All shapes and sizes are welcome and celebrate here which we definitely need more of in the world. Studs Puerto Vallarta is absolutely ahead of the norm. It's definitely not for the faint of heart, but it's absolutely a lot of fun and the ambiance from the main level to the top is very distinctive. While are not cash only, they do highly recommend cash and have a 500 pesos limit for credit card usage. If you are only have a drink or two, you may not be able to hit that, but we just put our groups first round on the same tab and were able to make do with no issues. It's a multi-story bar lounge to hang and enjoy some great cocktails as well as some amazing music and music videos from all over. They closed a little earlier than normal the night we stopped in, a bit surprising for a Saturday night but definitely still enjoyable since we closed the bar out on the patio of the top floor overlooking the street with two solid drinks. Our bartender was really easy going offered for us to pick a few videos but one of the customers was on a role so we just let them have it - only a little off after they started skipping videos. The entire layout is very fun, definitely watch you step and your head if you're tall like me and the novio. Definitely a great spot to wrap up the night and/or start it off. The second level has this amazing wide patio deck with a beautiful mural. Definitely need to hang there a bit next time. What makes Code stand out is the level of theatrics and lighting that are utilized throughout the night. From male and female go-go dancers, cascading light and disco ball drops that are synced to the music, pyrotechnics, and so much more -- this is one hell of a spot. Each night on different trips I've been on there has been a different theme for each night. You can tell they take great pride and plan out each theme accordingly. CC Slaughters does not sleep!…read more Open from 2pm until 6am everyday of the week, this all day and all night party is the busiest bar + nightclub in Puerto Vallarta. The day is more mellow with food + drink specials with many people enjoying their outdoor set up with tables and chairs overlooking the street. Located across from Mr. Flamingo's they have incredible music that can be heard from both entrances, usually with a line forming out of the corner side as the night goes on. We passed through during the day, but attempted to pop in for a bit on a Friday night and the wait was just too wild... Slow moving line. The staff and security seem friendly, reasonable prices and fun decor. I've been to the CC Slaughters in Portland and was this years old when I realized they had a location in Zona Romantica - in similar fashion one side is more casual bar hang and the other is full blown nightclub with top 40 pop, latin favorites and lots of nostalgic dance throwbacks. If you're looking to dance until the sun comes up CC Slaughter - PV is the place to be. Dope DJs, drag galore, occasional go-gos, and great bartender pours. During huge event weeks like Beef Dip the party is just as much outside as it is on the end, but getting a beverage of choice might take a hot minute.
