Anonimo, sitting a few blocks from the heart of Zona Romantica, is a small, but mighty place to pick up a few cocktails and enjoy th energy of PV. I say "small", as the the inside spaces, on all three floors, can get tight, especially the first and third floors. However, the outdoor space on the second floor makes up for it all! Wraparound seating, string lights and gorgeous murals...this courtyard is where we spent more of our time while at Anonimo. We were here for the cocktails of course, so we hit the main floor first, then made our way up to the third floor before settling in the outdoor courtyard. Drinks here are standard beer and cocktails. Pricing is great, as with most places in the area. While are not cash only, they do highly recommend cash and have a 500 pesos limit for credit card usage. If you are only have a drink or two, you may not be able to hit that, but we just put our groups first round on the same tab and were able to make do with no issues. Service was friendly and welcoming, space was fun, open and distinctly PV. Overall, we loved it and will certainly be back on future visits! read more

Te amo barra de videos! Anónimo is a queer cocktail bar in Puerto Vallarta on the just outside the outskirts of the Zona Romantica area in PV. It's a multi-story bar lounge to hang and enjoy some great cocktails as well as some amazing music and music videos from all over. They closed a little earlier than normal the night we stopped in, a bit surprising for a Saturday night but definitely still enjoyable since we closed the bar out on the patio of the top floor overlooking the street with two solid drinks. Our bartender was really easy going offered for us to pick a few videos but one of the customers was on a role so we just let them have it - only a little off after they started skipping videos. The entire layout is very fun, definitely watch you step and your head if you're tall like me and the novio. Definitely a great spot to wrap up the night and/or start it off. The second level has this amazing wide patio deck with a beautiful mural. Definitely need to hang there a bit next time. We only had one minor issue with change here, but it got resolved really easily. Everyone we met was kind, friendly and welcoming even the person living their best life as the impromptu video dj of the night shot after shot. This is a cute little neighborhood bar, good for groups or solo travelers. My favorite is their hidden 2nd floor bar area with outdoor spot, very nice areas to relax in the evening with friends. They have two different bars, but I do find the prices here a bit higher than other area bars. It has a neighborhood bar feel and it seems to be always busy. read more

I loved this place because of its gorgeous paintings, in particular the spectacular lizard mural on the second floor terrace. The terrace felt relaxed and chill, which was totally my speed. I can go to Industry and be there, but I far prefer chatting with friends over drinks and that is what this delivers. read more

I can't believe this cute little bar is so close to the condo we stay at while in PV!    ATMOSPHERE: This quaint, hidden gem is far from the hustle and bustle of PV. Its open-air and and three levels high.  The first floor sports a good-sized bar, the second floor is a little smaller but features a rooftop patio atop a neighboring building, and the tiny third floor boasts a cozy wine bar and small balcony that overlooks the street.  The vibe was very chill and could even be considered dead to some as there wasn't any entertainment or dancing going on, just conversing - a positive in my book.   EXPERIENCE: I was flying solo on this particular night and decided to have a nightcap before turning in.  The crowd was of mixed age.  Most of the people were on the first floor watching videos and chatting.  The second floor was unoccupied except for the lonely bartender.  The third floor's body count grew to three as I entered.  I perched on the balcony as it was pretty toasty inside, took in the views and texted friends while enjoying glasses of wine.  Like most of PV, prices were unbelievable affordable. A few more souls added to the room's heat prior to me leaving.   SERVICE: Bar service on the third level was friendly and was swift as it was slow. Wonderful bar off the main gay bar strip. I guess just in the past few months they made the additions of the second and 3rd floor bars but that's what really makes this into what it is. First floor regular small local bar feel with music videos. Second floor has a rooftop patio and shirtless bartender and 3rd floor is an intimate wine and cocktail bar and shirtless bartender. All levels have their own identity making for a great place to enjoy drinks and conversation. The 3rd floor actually sells wine by the bottle and has a somewhat nice selection at prices. And the kicker is clean bathrooms on each floor. This place defiantly deserving of 5 stars. read more

Anonimo in Puerto Vallarta's Zona Romantica is a tiny, well-kept gay video bar that seats no more than 20...and that would be crowded. Nonetheless, it was our happy hour bar-of-choice throughout our stay because of the friendliest PV bartender and welcoming local regulars. Since the bar is small, bartender David handles everything from restocking supplies to washing glasses to popping popcorn to cueing videos/taking requests. And still he kept us entertained and our glasses filled. No doubt this bar hums and reminded the 3 of us of a small NYC West Village gay bar where we all met years ago, and used to be run like this. Maybe that's why Anonimo became our Cheers in PV. We're coming back next season! I'm sure David will remember our names...they're in the bar PC/register! read more

This super small bar is so hidden that if you blink you'll miss it. The artwork inside deserves to be seen though! I was here before Halloween and they made a Halloween margarita. I don't know what was in it but it was orange and tasty! They play YouTube videos on the TVs and we were graced with Whitney Houston for the duration of our visit. read more

The 2 drinks were watered down completely and it was our first time here visiting puerto Vallarta. I had the rum and pineapple drink and it tasted like pineapple and water with just even a hint of rum that I didn't could taste And a Martini that wasn't even filled to the top of the glass just only a 1/4 of it and of course it was watered down completely no alcohol whatsoever in it. Anonimo is a cosy 3 story club in the heart of the Puerto Vallarta downtown district called the Zona Romantica. The owners Brian and Roger make everyone feel welcome. Tjis club is mainly for a gay clientele but the owners welcome everyone with open arms and give everyone the feeling of a home away from home. Their hospitality is amazing, the decor trendy and the drinks fabulous. The colorful wall mural of the iguana on the top floor patio is a masterpiece and so are the topless bartenders. Wink. Came here on a Thursday night and had an absolute blast! All the locals were there and were super friendly and fun to talk to. We even met the owner which was cool. He was a very nice guy. They had a drink special going on - every drink was 35 pesos. It was awesome. We definitely took advantage of that. All of the drinks were perfect too. We had vodka tonics, vodka frescas and long islands. Bartenders were all very nice and very attentive. They gave away free popcorn at some point too! read more

This is your first Bar for the night after you watch the sunset. There's typically a 45 peso drink special that goes all night. Service is great - as of this writing you'll be served by either David or Victor, both long time bartenders who carry on great conversations with both the tourist or with the many locals who frequent this bar. Drinks are affordable and strong, bartenders are sexy as hell and friendly and the location and proximity to other bars and great food make this an experience you shouldn't pass up. read more

Really fun gay bar in puerto Vallarta. My gay gentleman friend took me here before the REAL party started much later at night. So I was the single straight woman in the mix. I felt welcomed and truly comfortable. Loved loved loved the purple themed decor. Apparently they allow pets because dogs were everywhere. Anonimo is probably my favorite bar, let alone gay bar, in Puerto vallarta. It reminds me a little of the HUNTRIDGE in my home town of Las Vegas. Don't get alarmed; Anonimo is immaculate and exquisite, the beer selection consists of much more than PBR Tallboys, and the clientele isn't missing their teeth and/or limbs. Nevertheless, Anonimo is a small, unassuming yet awesome place to meet friends or hang solo and people watch. The margaritas are superb and So Very Reasonable. This was one of my favorite spots in PV. It's quaint and the bartender makes you feel like you are in their home. David and Victor are the bartenders here. This is a friendly little gay bar in the neighborhood. It can't fit more than 15 people or so, and many locals hang out here. You'll see many gay expats from the US, and who have moved to the area. The bartenders David and Victor are cute, friendly, and welcoming. The nice owner Dan is often here too.
