No "Frecka Plumbing" or any greeting. That should have been my first red flag but I let it go. I am not sure how she heard any of my conversation since I was having it while the phone was ringing. So I get an appt and this guy comes out and says that he's been to the house before (great I thought ...he knows the place, we just bought it last month). Go over some issues and we go upstairs and he points out a leak that I didn't even know existed. I told him I was glad he found it since we were replacing the vanity anyway. I asked him if he could add that to his list. He looks at me and says "what are you talking about?". Gee I don't know, you're a plumber, you pointed out a leak, maybe thats what I mean? I think a 3rd grader could figure it out. After another confused conversation he looks at my daughter's boyfriend and says "Am I retarded?" (referring to himself). I don't know why he said that, other than perhaps he thought I wanted him to replace the vanity (which I didn't and never asked him to). Besides, how did he know maybe perhaps I do have a genuinely retarded relative? That was a very unprofessional and extremely rude thing to say! I don't expect, and never would expect a plumber to do remolding work. Even if he thought that is what I meant, why not clarify before the condescending attitude?? At this point I almost told him to get his tools and get off my property. He tells me he will have to get an estimator out to give me a quote on the work. it's been one week and crickets from Frecka No worries - I wouldn't hire Frecka to fix a leak in my pool floatie let alone my house. I called Kline and Kavali (nice people working there, imagine that). Had the problem taken care of two days after they came out. Stay away from Frecka unless you enjoy being talked down to. If you do, then this is the company for you.

After the installation, I had several concerns involving the cleanup, warranty documentation, communication, and a few installation details. I reached out to the company, and instead of becoming defensive, Brandon Mantel (President) personally responded with a detailed email addressing every concern. Dom also returned to my home to deliver the warranty paperwork, clean up the remaining mess, and review the installation with me. He listened to my concerns, apologized for the issues, and acknowledged that one component of the existing plumbing should have been replaced. No company gets every job perfect. What separates a good company from a great one is how they respond when something doesn't go as planned. Donamarc took ownership where appropriate, communicated professionally, and worked to make things right. That level of accountability and customer service is something I genuinely appreciate, and it's why I would recommend them. I personally couldn't be more grateful.

Since we are on a well system I contacted this company for a diagnostic examination. The following day Dennis arrived and conducted an extremely thorough review of our well system and determined that the pump needed to be replaced to include a pipe and electrical wiring. Dennis is one of those individuals who is courteous, professional and demonstrates a level of confidence which only comes with decades of experience. Within days the crew showed up (on time) and quickly got to work. These guys were true professionals. The system to include a new pump, electrical wiring and pipe were quickly installed. On top of that after consulting with the crew I had them do a blowout of the well. The amount of sludge and sediment that was expelled from the well was incredible. But more important the debris was completely cleaned up by the crew. This will cut down on changing my water system filter. Many thanks to this wonderful company. We are thrilled with the results and in particular the shower pressure is incredible. WELL DONE.

This was extremely frustrating because I contacted a professional company expecting them to properly assess the situation before performing work. As a customer dealing with an already stressful situation involving water and flooding in my home, I expected to be treated respectfully, have my concerns taken seriously, and receive a clear explanation of what work was actually necessary before a service was performed. Anthony was meticulous but not slow in getting the job done right, kept communication open and honest, and waited patiently at my house while I finished pricing other options. He explained that a hardware store water heater is of cheaper quality than the "professional" model he would install. He also correctly guessed that a competitive quote had come in lower because they did not factor in permitting the work, which he felt was important, and I agreed. He did look for multiple ways to save us some money, including combining visits, not charging for the initial investigation of our gas leak, discounting a subsequent job; he even researched the design lifetime of my new water heater and recommended against getting an extended warrantee in my case since the heater was built to last at least that long if not longer. Anthony and team were friendly, passionate, and a delight to have at our house. I would hire Plumbing Excellence again or call them for advice any time!

Call Buddy's back out, they now say the leak is coming from the main line going into the house, and give an estimate of almost $6000 to fix.
