They are in my area from 1-3 pm during the business day so I need to plan my mtgs./ travel around them. We recently decided to make the switch from using disposable water bottles and city tap water and I am so glad I did! Our installation and set up was an absolute breeze. Not only was it well under 30 minutes in its entirety, but it was also pain-free thanks to the courteous delivery man who brought everything up to our 8th-floor apartment downtown, even in the midst of traffic! The cooler was great from the get-go, but I noticed there was an issue with the cooler taking in water within a month of having it which had me worried. I thought there might be an issue with it or potentially something was broken, so I called their customer support and was surprised that within the following few days they sent out someone to retrieve the old cooler and replaced it with a new one, no questions asked. It's clear they take pride in their customer support and I'm glad to support a locally-owned Cleveland company. read more

I called this company because I need a truck load of water delivered for a pool install. Today is June 28, 2019. I am having the pool installed on June 30, 2019 through July 1, 2019. They refused to sell me water and ship it to me unless I have an in person consultation. That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. I wanted them to ship me 4,000 gallons of water on July 1, 2019. I was willing to pay them $400.00 (their asking price), but they refused unless I have a consultation. What could possibly happen at a consultation...... Q: How much water do you need? A: 4,000 gallons..... Q: When do you need it: July 1, 2019...... What is there to consult with me about? This company just lost my business. Could you imagine if every time you wanted to order a pizza they had to send someone out to do a consultation? So stupid. read more

Supremely irritating. I went to a vendor fair, and apparently they had partnered with a coffee company. I signed up for "free coffee samples" for my workplace, thinking they'd mail a bag of roasted grounds. Instead 3 guys come in carrying a coffeemaker and asking for a water and electric source to plug it in! I was stunned. This particular appliance quickly made one tasty cup at a time, and it was popular. But the pricing worked out such that the individual flavor packs were quite expensive, and the boss understandably wouldn't go for it. So when the trial ended and they packed up the machine without us signing a contract, I thought that would be the end. But Distillata continued calling and emailing me for at least 3 months, trying to send me invoices and extract money. I made it clear many times that I'm NOT the manager and make no financial decisions for my business. They just couldn't get the clue. It's one of the only cases where I've had to bounce a company's email and refuse their phone calls. Save yourself the hassle and avoid these leeches. read more

We rented a unit and had water delivered during an office renovation since the plumbing on that floor would be unavailable. The delivery service was erratic with different delivery men each time who never knew where they were going or what they were doing. When it came time to end our rental, the account rep canceled service and stopped charging us, but no one came to collect the unit or the used water bottles for 3 months. Once they finally did collect everything, they charged our credit card randomly, promised refunds as checks instead of reversing the credit card charges, and the account rep's manager used atrocious grammar in every message -- I felt like I was dealing with a child. I don't trust them to deliver on the promised refund checks and have no faith in their company at all. I absolutely DO NOT recommend using Distillata. read more

Every person I have dealt with in this company has been nothing but nice and helpful. I stand behind them. Maybe if these other reviewers try to treat their drivers with kindness and respect instead of being demanding, they would reciprocate. read more

Where do I begin?? This company has messed up my order, delivery, account info too many times to count. I only continue to use them because it's more convenient than going to the store & carrying the huge bottles of water myself. I have NO IDEA how they have been in business since 1897! I have been a loyal customer of this company for at least three or 4+ years, but they are slowly making an enemy out of me. I only order water for myself so I don't need that much. The thing is the last time I got delivered water I already had five empties to give the driver which would credit towards my account. The thing is, the driver didn't bother to pick them up nor did he deliver water to the back apartment in this building which is mine even though it said that on the account. After being stuck with quite a few bottles for a while I called on April 11 to place my next order and got the obligatory apology which is all fine and dandy. But when I ordered two large bottles of spring water +3 cases of bottles for four dollars a case, I made the mistake of thinking everything was clear. After getting home Friday (delivery day), I discover that not only had the water not been delivered and I still had my empties, there's no way to reach these people on the weekend at all. I called and left a voicemail on Saturday wondering where my stuff was. I get a call back today (Monday) apologizing again and now it would seem they have no record of the order and somebody put me on "will call" status. I have now reduced my order a little bit because they're not going to give me the original price that they gave me the first time I called on the bottles which was four dollars a case, now we're back up to five. You guys are starting to piss me off. For God sake at least look at the last phone call and see what was ordered. read more
